  1. There's a video up showcasing some of the fighting styles. I've got to say I like some of the ideas. Being able to shove the ref into your opponent makes sense and is a cool addition. I'm also interested in if you can do other things after you put someones head on a chair other than another chair shot. The Powerhouse style looks like its moves kind of suck.

Time to get what I loved though, the High Flyer fighting style. Special flying attacks that actually connect like moves off of the top rope(ie:not just knocking them down like a strike attack)? Awesome. I love the addition of a Springboard Hurricanrana and Sabu's Springboard Leg Lariat aswell. I'm hoping that means he's in the game.

  2. I really want to see them create a realistic chain wrestling system. It's been done in Wrestle Kingdom, ASPW, and a bit in DoR, but Smackdown has never touched that. Now that they are trying to become more realistic I hope they try and do this. It would make the beginning of a match much more realistic than hitting a DDT or a kick to the gut right off the bat.

  3. I'd just like to add that after looking at the videos, being able to do backflips, frontflips, and weird rolling kick things where you land on your feet but don't hit the guy(you know what I mean) anytime you want and following it up with a move is awesome. It remind me of crappy spotfests and it looks really fun to do.

  4. How are you checking this? Exactly what are you doing? Because every superstar you've mentioned comes out with a belt perfectly on my game.

If you're testing this in Create an Entrance, and mixing and matching entrance moves, then no, it won't work, especially if you're using parts of entrances in which the wrestler has a special "title belt" entrance (eg. The Rock, Big Show, Kane, Khali, Nitro, Mercury etc)

  5. Does anybody have a list of all the entrance parts that can't have a belt? Some of the "Superstar" ones can, some can't. Even the guys in the game's entrace parts don't have belts. Everyone of the entrances I've made so far has had a part where the guy doesn't have his belt, and it pisses me off.

  6. The only ones who can brush off strikes should be Super-Heavyweights and up. Gregory Helms should be able to atleast punch or kick Matt Hardy. And adding the weight limits for finishers is gay.

I'm with you until the weight limits for finishers. Kid Kash should not be able to do the Dead Level to the Big Show and Chavo shouldn't be able to hit Khali with the Gory Bomb.

  7. I beat the Legend MITB on my second go yesterday. I found it surprisingly easy. I don't remember everyone in it, but I know I was Cena and there was also Hardy, Lashley, and I think Regal in the match. I just put the difficulty on Legend and hit random for me and all of my opponents. I won it with a running up the ladder/grab the belt combo in about 15 minutes.

In other news, I tried to set up the Mexifools Challenge as a match myself to take off DQ and it didn't work. I set it up the way I believed it should be and I won, but I didn't get the challenge cleared. Could it be because I chose the partners in a different order? Could it be my difficulty setting? Or could it have been because I put Kane in his masked attire for some reason? Could someone tell me exactly how they have set it up so I can do it properly.

Also, I got an awesome glitch yesterday. I was doing the Cruiserweight Invitational challenge and I went up top early in the match and went for a moonsault, so Kash turned around on the ropes. Someone hit me and this caused him to go into the "crotched" animation, which causes the guy to flip forward. So Kash landed on the outside in a match where you couldn't leave the ring. I stayed outside for a while and than slid into the ring and eliminated about three people one after the other. It was cool because I had trouble with the match first time around.

  8. I don't know the actual names of them, but I love both the one where Timmy and Jimmy join the Crips and the one where they build a wall around the city.

Best character is Cartman. Some of his funniest moments for me are actually when he isn't the focus of an episode, though. For example, I love it when his idea of revenge is to smear shit on people's walls. He's only in that episode for a few minutes, but it's awesome.

  9. Watching the video...that was barely racist. Hell, I found it funny. After reading all this shit I assumed he was going on a big rant about how the guy should be picking cotton and is worthless. All he called him is a nigger. In this day and age there's barely anything wrong with that. And besides, the black guy turns around and says a racial slur right back at Richards and somehow he gets off because he's black. A person who isn't white can say any racial slur he wants about a white man and not get in trouble. Ofcourse Richards is in the wrong, but that's barely anything to scream about. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I found that funny. If I was Richards I wouldn't apologize for that, both of them were in the wrong just as much as eachother.

  10. If there is anything to say in defense of the MK franchise, it's the storyline. It's a bit out there, and a bit messy, but for the most part, it makes sense. Tekken's storyline is fucking ridiculous and does Virtua Fighter even have one? That said, Mortal Kombat Armageddon can eat my ass for taking out character-specific fatalities. I know MK is a simplistic game, but I just don't have the time to learn how to play Virtua Fighter or Soul Calibur well. And there's no fun in those games if I'm always losing. Engines for fighting games are just too damn intricate and certainly aren't novice-friendly.
