I'm trying to get my girlfriend into FPSs. So far she's played Team Fortress 2 and she likes that, so I'm looking for other good shooters that are easy to learn and won't scare her away too fast. Suggestions?

The Smackdown games are fun with friends.

Ghostbusters online.

NHL/NFL games.

Rockband.

Does Smackdown have 4 player on one screen? I may get this years if it does.

And I love Ghostbusters, but I should have mentioned I am looking for one screen co-op.

And I have Rock Band, forgot about that.

So I'm looking for some co-op games for 3 players or more and there aren't many I can think of. No FPSs though, one player is very new to them.

I've already got Splosion Man, TMNT Arcade, Aegis Wing and Castle Crashers. I figure Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 when that comes out also. Any other ideas?

X360 magazine's review seemed like it was bashing the game for its slow pacing, cheap enemies and the like. Haven't all the games been like that?

Also, 1Up has their review out, as well as GamePro. 1Ups looks the most promising. : )

I was hyped as fuck for the new Silent Hill, then my excitement kind of dwindled, and it seems like it sucks.

I don't see why everyone is saying it sucks. All of the reviews I've read are complaining about what has made the series so great. It seems everyone was looking at it to be RE 4.5 to hold them over until 5 comes out next March and Silent Hill has never been a very action oriented game. I'd say at least rent it if you enjoy the series; I'm picking my copy up tomorrow.

Getting gold stars on expert ain't really all the hard when you know how to cheat the game mechanics. You can do what ever you wish. I just wanted to warn him of it before deciding to do so thats all.

1000 Gamerscore for COD4

A lot of people don't like the Rock Band guitar and opt for the GH3 one instead. Personally, I love the Strat, once you get used to it, it makes the GH controllers feel even more like toys. The extra frets are for solos only though, so they pretty much play and work identical. Only problem is the first batch of Strats are almost guaranteed to stop working (mine has), but luckily Harmonix has a nice warranty policy.

You have got to give Boller credit for that toss into the wind. Great game, I seriously almost tore my stitches.

Watching a Youtube video of Cult of Personality - I'm fairly sure it was Expert because of the nastiness of the solo, but it could be Hard - it struck me that there seems to be more three-fret chords this time around. Can anyone confirm this?

It's like Trogdor, but less funny and infinitely more annoying!. I mean, this song would be cool for Guitar Hero, but not rock band. Not Rock Band at all.
