The thing is, is that this is based off of true events. Now when it ended, I was stumped because how would anybody know what happened if they both died. Then I remembered that they said it was based on true events and not based on a true story so the ending was just there to add something to the movie. Plus, I think I remember reading something about the woman surviving and that she had given an interview about the movie or something like that.

I think everyone knows about Arquettes reign, but Ready 2 Rumble was actually a pretty good movie. Now you ask about Credibility? Most of the people who watch the movie won't have any idea who Sid Vicious is among others. It's a fictional storyline, so they have a fictional Main Character (The Wrestler) who is like a cross between Hulk Hogan (In Popularity) and Jerry Lawler (In Gimmick)

A reason why a Nash and such aren't in it? MONEY! You KNOW that Hogan and Nash are going to try and get as much money as possible

Sequals that Should/Could be made:

A Prequal to the Ring, where we see Samara Morgan and what exactly happened to her, plus the making of the tape. Would be hard to do though.

Well, Ringu 0 served as a prequel to Ringu (The Japanese Ring) so If the other two Ring movies get remade, we might possibly see this happening
