He's not like that all the time, just when on stage...wierd. He used to get drunk right before shows, so that could be it. I haven't seen them live since 1999 (when they were just Kinison, not The Kinison). Their old sound was quite a bit better (to me anyways). It had less pop influence and they weren't on a label so they didn't have to please anybody as far as that goes, they were pretty much LOUD, FAST, Screaming Hardcore. None of their old stuff is available on the net, I'd like to put up what I have (all of it), but am unaware of a free way to do so without consuming bandwidth limit instantly. I'll work on taking little clips or something this weekend.

that camp? Umm...both guitar players, the bass player and drummer were picked up in Los Angelas. Yeah, I don't like their new style that much either, but they have always been led by his wierd screaming style. It fit better with their old stuff.

The Kinison - You'll Never Guess Who Died (Video) Requires Quicktime. So, there's the debut video for The Kinison. I went to school with the guitar players and lead singer, was and still am a good friend of the lead singer (Chris Lewis). I own all of their cds new and old, if anyone wants to hear, pm me or email me (alternateyou@yahoo.com) What do you guys think of them? Maybe my opinion (really good) is slightly tainted by knowing and being friends with them?

Definitely not a Ray Charles fan. And the song itself offends me. Well not really, but I am an agnostic and the Lord Lord stuff is just wrong to me. However, I'm game I guess. I'll take it to a dark place.
