  1. i was basically brought up on 80s metal. There were lots of other things that my parents listened to but as a kid my favourite songs were "We're not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister and "TNT" by AC/DC. As i got older i just kinda branched out to other things.

In answer to the question though. I wouldn't worry about it, because when she is older she will find what she likes on her own.

  2. "I Don't Care" and "I'm not Jesus" By Apocalyptica (the first with Adam Gontier of Three days Grace, the latter with Corey Taylor) and "The Pretender" by Foo Fighters

though my favourite albums atm are "The Evacuation Plan" by Piggy D and "We are who we Eat" by The Other

  3. Blitzkid - Let Flowers Die

Blitzkid's second album. Overall this isn't a bad album, though none of the songs particularly stand out to me. There are a few good songs don't get me wrong. The best song to me is "The Fog"

    Overall: a generous 5 out of 10

Blitzkid - Trace of a Stranger

The follow up to Let Flowers Die, and to me this CD is immensely better than LFD. It also features what is probably my favourite Blitzkid song "Love Like Blood", in addition there are a few other stand out songs; being "Dead Again/Cold Skin" and "She Dominates".

    Overall: 7 out of 10

  4. Korn - MTV Unplugged

Being the big Korn fan that I am, i rushed out this morning to pick this up. I'm pretty impressed overall though the song selection could have been better. Freak on a Leash with Amy Lee stands out to me, as does the cover of Radiohead's Creep, I also like the versions of Blind, Falling Away From Me, and Love Song.

Overall - 8/10... if there were a few of my favourite Korn songs on here it probably would have garnered a 9 or 10, but I still really like this album.

  5. Marazene - machiNation

Marazene is a generic industrial band... not a bad cd, there are a few good songs. with my favourite being "Give"...

    5 out of 10

Spyder Baby - Let Us Prey

pretty good cd. a few awesome songs... including a cover of Ministry's "Everyday Is Halloween" which i prefer to the original... about half the songs are really good...

    Edit:

after listening to this album more, its a 8.5 out of 10... its really good

  6. Little situation I came across...

There is a worker named Kelly, and a staff member named kelly, both female. After going through literally the thousands of pictures I have, I found that there are two female pictures that have been under the name Kelly...

    Kelly.jpg

    Kelly-1.jpg

The first pic has also been referred to as "Serena Kelly" and, at one time, there was a worker with the name Serena Kelly. So, my question is, does anyone know how these are supposed to work? The first pic has a TNA shirt on, so I assume she was in TNA at one time. In the database, I've also seen her in the WWE roster in the past. Is the first pic the worker and the second the staff member? Any ideas on how this should be handled?

    -Bill

P.S. For anyone that wants this, I found a pic of American Cream Pie, that was much better than the one I had before:

  7. Err, that might have to do with the fact that one of the artists on there (Lil' Jon) causes a runtime error. I, unfortunately, don't really have a solution for that yet. I can tinker with it some, but it probably will fuck up the rest of the update in the process.
  8. Fashion Bomb - Devils to Some Angels to Others

This CD is great. They have been compared to Manson/NIN, but they are more akin to Manson than to NIN. They cover Motley Crue's "Looks That Kill" on the CD, not a great cover, but there are about 7 really good songs out of the 13 original songs on the album. With the Song "SS" being my favourite song on the album.

Overall about a 7 out of 10, it could have been better but at the same time i really enjoy it and without really hearing any songs on the album prior to purchase i can't complain.

  9. Bourbon Crow - Highway to Hangovers

Ok so Bourbon Crow is actually Wednesday 13 and his former band member Kid Kid... and well its nothing like Wednesday 13 has done before. Bourbon Crow is an outlaw country CD that they released as a tribute to the music that they grew up listening to. Not being a style of music that I normally listen to I'm not sure what to think of it. I'm pretty much the type of person who will buy everything from an artist I like which is how I ended up with this CD... I think this CD will grow on me, but for the time being i'm not going to give a score.

  10. Michale Graves is supposed to release an album in 2007 of songs that were cowritten with Damian Echols...

Korn's Album is supposed to be out "next spring" (from Nov 2 issue of rolling stone...)

    Marilyn Manson

Rob Zombie live album... either before the end of this year or next year as well...

  11. Michale Graves - Return to Earth

I must say that this album is great. After my first listen i absolutely loved the album, and considering that his previous effort "Punk Rock Is Dead" left me unsure how i felt after the first few albums i was quite impressed. I'm not going to say its the best album of the year, but if you are a Graves fan you should definately pick this up. Stand out tracks: Nobody Cares About Me, Butchershop (was on the "import" version of Punk Rock is Dead... and also available as a free download off his myspace page), and pretty much all the other songs are good too... I dunno i'm a big fan of Michale Graves... so... 8 out of 10

    Zombeast - Self titled

Zombeasts debut effort, and with both reviews i've seen being positive with one making the claim that "Singer Mario Montichello is far more Danzig than Danzig himself has been for a decade now, aping that booming baritone better than - dare I say - ANYONE..", i was really looking forward to this album... and it delivers. I love every song on this CD... It may not be for everybody, but i really enjoyed it. Stand Out Tracks: Flesh Eaters, Eternity, Wolfskin Killer... any song off the album is good (they also have a cover of the Misfit's Devilock availble as a free download on their myspace page...)

    about an 9/10

  12. i got it right when it was released, and really enjoyed it... i do agree that it could have used a change of pace (as in rather than just interviews...) but based on the story it does explain why it is just interviews... other than that... you could just paste hutch's comments here as that is pretty much my opinion...
