  1. what i seem to miss on this debate is the geographical factor. People are on the Pats for the reasons, like the ones that Kbusch mentions. But are the other Boston teams that disliked? Are there any other examples of this? The New York situation is a bit difficult because that there are two MLB teams, two NFL teams even two NHL teams.

But the main question that leaves me scratching my head is this. Are there any other areas in the US, where people disliked any sport team coming out, like in Boston?

  2. Good argument Flapjack. As for me, it is because the Patriots were the first NFL team i ever saw. So that stuck with me. From there i got into the other teams (the latest being the Celtics). I do believe that many other teams also have (some more than others) douchey fans to some degree.

As far as the Patriots go, they make it easy to hate them. Spygate and Tuck rules are just two examples, so i can easily see why they are disliked.

Lowerdeck, im not quite sure what the Chargers hold against the Pats. Only thing that comes to my mind is that season where Chargers went 14-2, only to lose against Pats in the playoffs (their second playoff loss in three years). Exit Marty Schottenheimer and enter Norv Turner, who then got defeated 38-14 i believe in his first game in that season where Giants won the Superbowl (Pats met Chargers in the AFC Final if my memory serves me right)

Thats about the only reason i could imagine

  3. Big words from a guy with Romney is his avatar :shifty:

Since there is much bigger Patriots fans on this board than me, i would think that there are worse fans out there.

A troll in my estimation, is someone who is posting provocative messages to a message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument. At no point have this been an intention of mine.

If i have done what is considered trolling in the past and offended anyone, i apologize.

Could someone cut this pic of Serena onto kyky for me please?

    sd.jpg

I tried but i am not very good. Looks rough around the edges.

I've seen worse. GIMP is a really tough programme to do cuts in. So you cannot be blamed for the cuts looking rough (Y)

  5. WTA - Mercifully the Wozniacki reign at # 1 will end to Kvitova by the end of the Australian Open. Caro will end the year with another 4-6 titles won, but ZERO Grand Slams to her credit.

This! A million times this. On danish boards you get flamed to hell if you dare mention that she is a chokejob artist (over other things than Rorys club :pervert:) But im find it annoying to no end that whenrver tennis are in the news, then it is about "The danish world #1". Who, first of all is just as much polish, and lives most of the year in monte carlo and not paying any taxes. To top the rant off, i dont get why anyone would fancy her.

  6. I dont really care for the other games. But i want to see the Pats steamroll the Broncos sooo bad. A total of 666 yards would be a fitting end to a Denver Season that lasted longer than it should :pervert:

    EDIT:

Damshow nails it perfectly further down this page. He forgets one thing. That Denver is in a really awful division

  7. Titfuck Bramble makes it a hat-trick:

Sunderland footballer Titus Bramble is facing a third sexual assault charge.

The 30-year-old, of Wynyard, Teesside, was accused of indecently touching two women in separate incidents in Yarm in September.

At Teesside Magistrates' Court, he was told an additional sexual assault charge relating to one of the existing complainants was to be added.

The defender denied the new charge. He had already denied the two original charges.

Mr Bramble was formally cleared of a charge of urinating in a public place after the prosecution said it was no longer being pursued.

The case was committed to crown court and a trial will take place on a date still to be set.

The player started his career at Ipswich Town and also played for Newcastle United and Wigan Athletic.

This guy..... He makes Bendtner look like a effin saint

  8. Looking forward to the playoffs. Will especially be interesting to see if the Patriots can break their playoff curse

And i loved the fact that Miami defeated the Jets, no filthy mouthed Ryan in the playoffs. (Y)

As for the Cowboys smh. -_-

I predict that the Steelers will roll over the Broncos

If Yates is not ready, then HOU - CIN could be a real disaster (jake delhomme anybody?) If he is, then it could be a real nailbiter

Lions vs Saints. If Detroit don't hold their penalties to a minimun, then they will be out of the playoffs. Also it could become a real shootout

A Quick question. Someone over at DVDVR posted this:

"the winner of tonight's game (Cowboys - Giants) will also earn the right to play the Packers and Niners next year. Oh and the NFC East plays the NFC South and AFC North."

Is this by any means true?

Falcons - Giants i have as being pretty open. The G-Men will have to play their best. But for my money this could be a toss up

  9. Started a game with Newcastle of all teams.

    Started with

    1-1 away at Norwich

    0-0 home vs Bolton

(sendt Burton out of the LC 3-0)

    1-1 home vs Fulham

    0-1 away at West Brom

Things then looked pretty ugly :(. Should at least have gotten one win out of those four league games

My next two matches was Man U. home and Chelsea away.

As expected i went down in the first half against United 2-0. Then Evra got sent off after double yellow in the 63th. Then Yaya Sanogo (on loan) went nuts and scored three goals in the last 20 minutes.

Chelsea must not have liked me one bit. Both JT and Paulo Ferreira got sent off in the first half (Terry for butchering Demba Ba :( ) So i had to sub in Jay Rodriguez (who i got from Burnley) 3 goals and two assists (Yohan Cabaye netted on those).

So 6 games in. 2 won, 3 drawn and 1 lost. Im currently tied for 7th with Stoke (who i knocked out 1-0 in the LC)

Next Match is the leagues #17

    .

    .

    .

Tottenham <_< they started by losing to Arsenal and Liverpool. Got a draw in Wigan. Then they lost to both Stoke and Norwich, before winning against Bolton

  10. A little update from my universe:

    - Kharmas first match resulted in Michelle McCool being "critically injured". Yet at the Royal Rumble, Michelle fought in a three way for one of the womens titles

    - Lesnar is a beast, and seems to be after Mark Henry of all people. Lesnar cost Henry the #1 contendership in a match against Heath Slater of all people. <_<

    - Cena has been on (wait for it) a winning streak so long that i cannot be bothered to count. >_<

    - Only caws that have done well, have been AJ Styles (won the world title and lost it to Nash, who lost it to HHH), Low Ki (who ended Takers streak in the first year :w00t: ) and Necrobutcher (who interferes left and right and have more enemies than allies ^_^ )
