Desaparecidos has Conor Oberst in it, it's good, but I'm not really into hardcore music. The Good Life is like a mellowed out Cursive, I actually prefer them to Cursive. Umm...The Postal Service is really good, it's Ben Gibbard from Death Cab for Cutie and Jimmy from Dntel (and Jenny Lewis from Rilo Kiley sings backup sometimes). That's all I can think of so far.

The Score. Go get it guys.

Yay! Bright Eyes! Yay!

I totally forgot about that.
I didn't think it would have the same impact as Original Pirate Material, but it was even better. For those who haven't heard it, its like a continuous story told through music. Really great stuff.
And, yes, Empty Cans is a fantastic end to the album - clears everything up and makes you want to listen all the way through again.
"Dry Your Eyes" made me cry.

IN THE AEROPLANE OVER THE SEA.
'Nuff said.

My friend gave me an mp3 of a show they did awhile back at some concert for a radio station in Wisconsin (??), and I was wondering what the title of the song was. The words are really unclear so I have no idea what the fuck Robert Smith is saying.. Anyways, I really don't like this song but my friend is dying to find out what the name of this song is..

Dante in Dante's Inferno
Gasby from the Great Gasby.
Lestat from Interview with a Vampire.
The entire island of Lord of the Flies. The archetypes in that book are phenomenal.
Nice, you spelt both the character's and the book's name wrong.

Holden Caulfield (Catcher in the Rye)
Tim Picasso (Light House)
Veronika (Veronika Decides to Die)

The Royal Tenenbaums is the only Stiller movie I've actually enjoyed.

That's right, it's Bob Dylan's 64th today. Here's to his great music and lingerie commercials.

Damien Rice - Cannonball
Still a little bit of your taste in my mouth
Still a little bit of you laced with my doubt
Still a little hard to say what's going on
Still a little bit of your ghost your witness
Still a little bit of your face I haven't kissed
You step a little closer each day
That I can't see what's going on
Stones taught me to fly
Love taught me to lie
Life taught me to die
So it's not hard to fall
When you float like a cannonball
Still a little bit of your song in my ear
Still a little bit of your words I long to hear
You step a little closer to me
So close that I can't see what's going on
Stones taught me to fly
Love taught me to lie
Life taught me to die
So it's not hard to fall
When you float like a cannon
Stones taught me to fly
Love taught me to cry
So come on courage
Teach me to be shy
'Cause it's not hard to fall
And I don't want to scare her
It's not hard to fall
And I don't wanna lose
It's not hard to grow
When you know that you just don't know
Lyrically one my favourite songs and one of a few that can make me cry, particularly going through a break up in the past.
I love Damien Rice. "Lonelily" is a great song, as is "Volcano".

I've always thought that Catcher in the Rye would make a great movie.

He's not much of a musician, but he's probably one of the greater lyricists out there today... And true, Commander Venus was a great start. Desaparecidos (I hope I spelt it right) is pretty good if you're into that emocore stuff, it's not At The Drive-In, but it's still decent.
Question about Minidiscs/Minidisc Players

How much can one minidisk hold? Would I be better off just getting an mp3 player?
