Very tight this match. I'm imagining Ronaldo will somehow win it now.

The result makes it look so much more balanced than the reality. France tore them to pieces. Will be interesting to see where Argentina go from here, no doubt Messi will retire again.

I dread to think what Spain would have been like with Messi chucked in there as well.

I don't really understand why Argentina are playing without a striker when they have Higuain, Dybala and Aguero as options (let alone Icardi who they didn't bring). Bizarre tactics.

I'm backing France for the win today, don't fancy Argentina's defence against the French attack (even though the French aren't exactly clicking at the moment).

If Argentina win the World Cup with that backline then Messi desrves to be GOAT. I didn't realise how poor that Argentina team looks, they do however have great talent to pick from in strikers so perhaps all out attack is the best route to go...

Plus side is next season Jose will have his meltdown and we'll get a new manager to join the merry go around.

Love this, Liverpool brutally exposing Man City and their weaknesses. Teams have just sat back all season against City and been taken to pieces, Liverpool apply pressure to them and they're all over the place. Wish Man United would attack in this way on the weekend, we've got the players but not the manager to want to do it. 

A bit like how we were in SAF's final season, coming from behind to get the win. Hopefully gives us a bit of momentum that result. 

So clumsy from Van Dijk at the end, possibly the most Spursy/Liverpool way of ending a match. Think we don't need to loom behind our shoulder too much more now after that result. 

Rumour has it Aguero has broken a toenail and Harry Kane is set to join the paupers for £250 million. 

VAR may create the correct decisions but it's not making the game better as a result. I'd hate to be in that crowd tonight as it must be so confusing, not to mention destroying the moment of celebrating a goal.

Very LVGesque performance, something is wrong at United at the moment. Have to think his sour mood and constant attacks on players and chopping and changing of players isn't helping the matter. 

I'm about done with BT and Sky so would happily wave in the Amazon/Netflix era of football broadcasting. I cancelled Sky Sports this year and just have BT Sport now which isn't amazing but it gives me the fix I require.
