4809 songs, all with correct track name, artist and album title. Next I'll work on album art (there's a few missing) and then genres.
I don't listen to most of it My girlfriend calls me a music whore. Probably true.

How is it India get Bangladesh and Ireland whilst Australia get Sri Lanka and West Indies?
Not that I'm complaining about us losing, we have one or two players that really shouldn't be there (Lee won't get an Ashes game hopefully, Watson is great at state level but has never stood up in international games, Ponting is losing it). Might give some of the players a bit of a kick up the bum before the Ashes.
It's all based on the results of the 2007 World Cup. Cause the Windies lost to Ireland in 2007 they got seeded behind them and that's how the groups were constructed.
Lol Australia

Hopefully Sri Lanka upset the Aussies and send them home
Sri Lanka are many critic's pick to win the tournament so I don't think it would be that big of an upset...
Sri Lanka are a good team, but I wouldn't put them anywhere near favorites to be honest. Semi-finals at a stretch.
-
I'm picking either South Africa or New Zealand.
Hopefully Sri Lanka upset the Aussies and send them home

Glad we could help!

Meh, you know they put all the parts that are remotely funny in the trailer.
-
Awwwwwwwwwwwww

As a pretty unknown author here hoping to get my name out there, I'd like to throw my name into the tourney as well.

This sounds like a lot of fun.

New Zealand def. Australia and goes 2-0
I think it's safe to say that the era of Australian dominance is over.
Sorry for hijacking the thread but, I'm a Kiwi, and I needed to find somewhere to gloat.

While I'm currently a Mafia Virgin, I have been studying up and following several of the current running mafias as well as reading through the Mafia-Wiki, and I think I'm ready.
So, if you'll have me, I'm in.

Damn, I was gunna come in bitching about this stupid list, but then I saw this:
42. Liam Finn - I'll Be Lightning...and all is forgiven.
Liam Finn is a New Zealand Multi-Instrumentalist (and I mean that, he plays something like 250 instruments). He's the son of Neil Finn who you might know from Split Enz or Crowded House. He's brilliant, but pretty unheard of.
Here's a clip, check him out.
Anyways, Kings of Leon, Coldplay and AC/DC seem to have been ranked on sales figures, because they are definitely not top 50 albums.

RHCP in 2005. Was good.
A few months later I went to Tenacious D... was legendary.
-
"Song 2" by Blur is pretty much a Grunge piss-take.
-
Tenacious D
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Chris Cornell
Linkin Park
Muse
Arcade Fire
Bjork
Rage Against the Machine
Foo Fighters in May
Unfortunately, living in NZ, it's not often that I get a chance to see the big acts. The Smashing Pumpkins were just down here with QOTSA and I didn't go due to lack of cash and people to go with. I'm sure the Queens will be here again, so I'm not too torn up about that, however I can't help feeling like I might have missed my only chance to see Billy Corgan

Foo Fighters | The Red Hot Chili Peppers | Smashing Pumpkins
Queens of the Stone Age | Muse | The Arctic Monkeys
Incubus | The Raconteurs | Arcade Fire | The Killers
The Checks | Bloc Party | Brand New | Evermore | The Feelers | The Mint Chicks | Shihad

This reminds me of the brilliance that is the "Conan the Barbarian" Director's commentary.
DIRECTOR: "You see, now with this scene I wanted to explore the dynamics between Conan and the artificial world of the civilization around him, expanding on the central themes of the movie and conveying a sense of-"
ARNOLD: "HAHA DIS IS DA BIT WHERE I PUNCH DA CAAAAAAAMEL"
DIRECTOR: [pause] "...a sense of pre-modern dystopianism and..."
Good stuff.

I echo a lot of the names in this thread, Reznor, Cobain, Cash in particular.
Surprised at the lack of Eddie Vedder love. Always puts so much emotion into his songs.

First: All Apologies
VERY DISTANT Second: Heart Shaped Box
followed by Spirit, In Bloom, Rape Me, Aneurysm, Come As You Are, Lithium and Where did you Sleep Last Night from the Unplugged album.
All Apologies is by far and away the best thing Cobain ever did musically. Lyrics are awesome without being overly bizarre (HSB) and the music is very well written. If you know the whole story behind In Utero it makes the song that much more interesting.
