  1. Speak for yourself. I hope England fail dreadfully and their fans continue to be miserable and wallow in self pity. Gives me something to laugh at when I go to the pub.

Well then they have to qualify. Because you will get all that after they go out after the usual media hype.

  2. I agree they shouldn't be re-admitted but I think its the other SPL clubs who vote on the decision and for example St Mirren get more in gate receipts when they play Rangers do compared to say Kilmarnock. With SPL clubs not in the best of health I think money may win over morals.

The SFA would be forced to impose sanctions on them because fans of the other clubs wouldn't be impressed and then rangers fans would threaten the usual boycott of away matches anyway.

  3. Yes it would.

But hopefully With a little bit of time and Distribution of wealth and so on a more competitive exciting league would attract tv rights cash. Hibs vs hearts was a great match and spectacle. Neither of the old firm involved.

The fact the only attraction is the old firm says it all. The atmosphere at Celtic park is atrocious for most league games and you only get a sense of occastion for the old firm. If rangers not being in the SPL meant fans had to care more about other matches and be as passionate about them as the old firm im all for it.

And if rangers get voted back into the SPL So that's it's business as usual it's disgusting. Mainly due to the people they have screwed over.

  4. If they get voted back in the SPL does that mean they would be debt free? Obviously apart from the season ticket money(which should be reduced surely) do they need to negotiate sponsor deals again or would they just sign over if they retained SPL status. Same with the player contracts and so on.

Obviously if they don't get back in it's not an issue but I'm struggling to see how when rangers owed so much money to creditors they,re assets were sold to green and not used to make cash for the owed creditors.

  5. Is Mcgeady actually any good? He's been a bit shit this tournament and that's the only time I've seen him play.

Could always beat his man but his crossing and finishing were poor at Celtic. I havent seen alot of him since he moved but he hasnt had a great tourament. Then again maybe he isnt being allowed the freedom he usually plays at.

I would say Ireland look done but at 1-0 anything can happen and even scotland managed 2 goals against them in the qualifiers and I'd say Ireland had a bit more class than them.

  6. How Kelly is going is beyond me. Micah and Rio should of been in the initial 23. This is the worst squad we have taken to a tournament that I can remember

Well I'm all for giving youth a chance but not so close to a major tournament. Not that my team have had to worry about that anyway as we havent been in one for 14 years. Why not just be honest and say we value terry more and we can't take Rio because Terry may have racially abused his brother. That's what it's about really.

  7. Martin kellys been called up in place of Cahill who has been injured. Rios representatives have accused of having a lack of respect towards him.

Would have taken Rio or Richards. The footballing reasons stance loses credibility when people getting called up have played less than him in the international team or even their clubs.

  8. Is Fletcher actually coming back?

Well I'm sure he will at some point. The fact he's not being rushed back and getting called up for Scotland will help. I haven't heard anything about his conditioning worsining or him being told he can't play again.

Also people always say that central midfield is shite at united. Carrick and Fletcher work hard, Scholes can still play there well, same Giggs, Andersons fine as a backup and cleverley was looking good until he was injured. He could be good is he can stay injury free.

  9. We are going to have City stil at that level, a strengthened Chelsea & United will strengthen to, I'm sure.

'Pool have to compete with Spurs, Newcastle & Arsenal for 4th. Of course there's always the chance of a surprise packet joining them(also maybe one of Spurs/Newcastle/Arsenal could step up and shut all the

other Champions league placing chasers out entirely).

If 'Pool finish as low as 7th, would that realistically be enough?

Not stiring, just expressing that I think it'd suck for another manager to get a shot at a big club and for them to get fired for not achieving a goal that may not be achievable in

    the first place.

The owner did say that they weren't expecting Miracles and that it was going to be the start of building to where they should be. But i don't know what would be realisitic. 5th maybe.
