Hope that's not misleading. Basically, three guys were arrested tonight for attempting to extort money from Carmelo Anthony, stemming from the fight he got into in NY.

I think it was September, some rapper in NY named Sugar J spit on LaLa (MTV host, Melo's girlfriend) and Melo got into a fight with Sugar J. No charges were pressed there, but now there's been three guys from Sugar J's entourage demanding money from Melo and whatnot. All this comes directly from Melo's agent here in Denver. Just found it interesting when I heard and figured I'd pass it on.

with the whole Olympic Woes, Marijuana possesion charges, and now this, on top of his on-court mini struggles. cant get worse.

But he has been pulling his game together a bit more lately.
