NFL fantasy playoff league

Rules:

Choose 18 players from the 12 teams that make the playoffs.  There is no draft, so it is possible that everyone has the same person on their team.

Positions to choose from: QB, RB, WR, TE, K

You only get points for scores, no yardage points

TD – 6 pts (note: kick/punt returns for touchdown count for 6 pts)

FG – 3 pts

Two Point Conversions - 2

Extra point – 1 pt

Most you can start at each position each week:

QB – 1

RB – 2

WR – 2

TE – 1

K – 1

If you have a player on your team that is eliminated in the first round, you do not get to replace his spot on your roster.  Once your 18 man roster is submitted, no changes can be made at any time.

If you do not have a player to fill a spot (ex: all your quarterback’s lose week one) you get a zero for that position.

When you submit your seven man lineup for each week, you must rank your players 1-7, 1 being the person you think will score the most points and 7 being the least points.  This will be the first tiebreaker system.

Also with your lineup you must submit your guess for how many points will be scored in the last game of the week.  This will be used as the second tiebreaker just in case the 1-7 rankings cannot determine a winner.  Closest number (higher or lower) wins so if the combined score is 40 points and one guy guesses 35 and the other 42, the 42 wins.

Once we have a set number of teams, and there is no maximum number, we will then determine how many people are eliminated each week until there are only two teams left for the super bowl game.

When picking your team, you want to pick people that you think will go far into the playoffs, but at the same time, you want to have at least a full lineup with people playing week one since four teams will have a bye week.

Lineups, along with your rankings and total points number, are to be sent to me, sahyder1@gmail.com (but make sure you specify your EWB name in the mail), no later than Saturday at 11 AM ET since games start Saturday afternoon.
