There was an apologetic realisation from Nintendo that they have treated Europe badly in the past - late release dates, poor conversions - and that things needed to change. "Europe is our fastest growing market", said Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's president. His attendance alone highlighted the new importance Nintendo are placing on Europe. But there was more than that.

Instead of apologising I would prefer them to invest some money in advertising the fucking box of love. Beyond that I would like some recognition that they have fucked up astronomically in Australia. My two local EB's have more room dedicated to Anime DVD's than the NGC. The only place I can ensure getting the game I want is through online stores.

How's that for a save.
