RAVE Nation~!

Puroresu's Indy scene......Bold, Bright and Sleazy, thats why me and you love it! It's all about the characters and fun wrestling styles instead of two 'Jacked' up guys kicking each other in the head for 60 minutes. Its fast and furious and more confusing than a Quantum Psychics book. Well the scene is about to go on one hell of a trip....

New Indy Promotion To Run In Tokyo

A Press Conference was held earlier today annoucing a new promotion to run out of Tokyo. The promotion which name has been announced as 'RAVE Pro-Wrestling' has strong connections with fellow Indy promotion Dramatic Dream Team who also run they're shows in the area. At the Press Conference Kazuya Arai, who is the promotions Booker, was joined with two young men. Arai announced that the promotion will be based around Music Cultures in Japan with every home-based wrestler having a gimmick influenced by a music scene or culture (Hence the RAVE name). Arai then introduced the two young men as Disco Sasaki and Jiggy Takagi. Rumour has it that they spent time with DDT as Ring Boys. Kazuya Arai announced that RAVE would promote their first show on 25th June and it would be entitled 'RAVE Nation~!'. The card is as follows:-

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kurei, the Standing Figure Four (Or British Figure Four) and the Octopus is very similar to Anthony W. Mori's Gardenia hold. The opponents legs are crossed like a figure four but the person locking the move in puts his left leg in between the legs before wrapping his right leg behind the opponents head and then placing his foot by the opponents foot and using that foot to pull on the opponents cross legs. Very hard to describe! lol

Sharkmark101, the 5 guys are my main trainees and I will be using Toryumon X, Kaientai Dojo and Dramatic Dream Team talent aswell. It's just a Indy fed so there's no set roster really but I do plan to debut two more trainee's soon so look out for them!

Anyway I hope you all enjoy the show!

T.H.U.G are looking for some revenge this month after Taiji picked up the win with a Superstar Elbow for his group last time these 2 teams met.

.:. GoGo Tanisaki came so close again at a shot at Jiggy Takagi and his TOKYO TRANCE Title but he was stopped in his tracks as Disco Sasaki picked up the win in the 4 Way Elimination match. GoGo will be looking to get back on winning ways though this month as he faces Kaientai Dojo's MIYAWAKI who makes his debut this month. MIYAWAKI was quoted saying that he would prove that he is stronger than GoGo and anyone else in RAVE.

.:. Los Salseros Japonaises were embrassed at LIQUID JAM~! as Takeshi Minnamono got his head shaved bald after losing to MIKAMI. This month they look to get back on track as they face Ricky Ramone, Wataru Yabuki and Lucharesu Legend, The Great Sasuke. Sasuke was said to be very impressed with what had been happening in RAVE and wanted a piece of the young talent. This is a great chance for youngster Wataru Yabuki to prove himself after his impressive debut at LIQUID JAM~!

.:. After winning the right to face Jiggy Takagi for the TOKYO TRANCE Title Disco Sasaki looks to send a message to the Champ as he faces fellow T.H.U.G member, Daigoro Kashiwa. This is set to be a very exciting match-up and a nice warm up for the big match.

.:. Sad news reached RAVE recently as we were informed Toru Owashi has suffered a injury while working at Osaka Pro. He has pulled some muscles in his leg and hopes to be back soon. This is a great loss as Owashi is yet to be beat in RAVE. Owashi stated that Shogo Takagi will continue to dominate even without him there.

The Final Card shapes up like this:-

As much as I love this [which is a lot] it is missing a representative of Visual Kei [X-Japan or Malice Mizer style], if only for the hilarity that could ensue between Minoru Romeo and a gothic, cross dressing psychopath... Plus it would be one of the only distinctly Japanese style of music represented. Although I am seriously liking the Romeo/Thomaselli tag team, hopefully Romeo gets a clean win somewhere...
