WWE Web Alert: SmackDown!

Since Vince McMahon issued the complete re-draft of all the WWE superstars just two weeks ago, the world of the WWE has been set ablaze with the excitement the draft has brought to the table. Never before have we seen John Cena vs Triple H or Kane for a major title. Never before MNM and the Dudley Boyz squaring off at a PPV for tag team gold.

With all the excitement a few WWE Superstars have kind of been lost in the shuffle on SmackDown! Randy Orton and Eugene are still on the shelf with injuries. Orton has had major surgery to repair his ACL. Eugene has also had major surgery, he is rehabbing his knee as we speak. And Torrie Wilson has all, but vanished from the TV set. Have no fear. Each one of these superstars will be on WWE: BYTE THIS very soon!

Also, there is need to address the recent ECW: One Night Stand PPV. Several WWE Superstars were in the house and participated in the show.

From SmackDown! the following superstars made an appearance:

*Chris Benoit (couldn't compete at full level, however, due to injuries suffered by HHH)(Still pulled off one hell of a match with Chris Jericho!)

*Eddie Guerrero

*Rob Van Dam

*Rey Mysterio

*Simon Dean (as Nova)

*Tajiri

*Nunzio (as Little Guido of the FBI)

*and Spike Dudley

No mention of the PPV was made, past the initial announcement, on SmackDown! television. We would like to congratulate the participants on the SmackDown! brand as well as the RAW brand for the success of the nostalgic ECW: One Night Stand.

Chris Benoit is currently not scheduled to appear on WWE TV for at least a month. He is at home recovering from various injuries from both Triple H and "Y2J" Chris Jericho.

Also, in a recent contract dispute, the WWE and Gene Snitsky have mutually agreed to end Snitsky's contract. We wish him the best in his future endeavors. We welcome him back whole heartedly, in the event the contract dispute reaches an unsuspected resolution in the coming months.

The Hurricane and Rosey will be on hand at every mall we come across on our tour to sign autographs and take pictures. Check WWE.com for official dates and times.

That's all for the WWE Web Alert: SmackDown! this week. More news as we get it.

SmackDown! Preview

This week on SmackDown! Triple H will face "the Big Red Machine" Kane in the finals of the number one contendor's tournament to decide who will be named the number one contender for John Cena's WWE Heavyweight Championship. John Cena will be in the house, awaiting a challenger for his title.

Shelton Benjamin, the Intercontinental champion, said last week that he couldn't make it to the arena to face John Heidenreich. He promised to make that match a reality this week.

On Velocity, Mark Henry challenged Muhammad Hassan (who has a situation of his own, with Booker T) to a rematch this Thursday. Will he accept the challenge?

All of this and more, this Thursday on SmackDown! ONLY ON UPN!

Hello...

As you may of guessed, this diary is more or less dead. Alternateyou don't want any part of it and I was going to drop it myself, but hey, why not attempt to carry it on, running both Raw and Smackdown.

While this will be a task, I don't plan on running Heat/Velocity, so the hard part is getting up to date with Smackdown storylines and taking them in the direction that I would like

And as a sidenote, Snitsky was not fired, and the first SD by me will be done
