Need help with positions...(HTML)

I have to make a site, but I don't know how to make a few certain things. My dad wants me to make a site for the Villa we've bought, and he wants a "Static Bar" so the top of the screen and the bottom always stays the same. I think I've found a link of what he wants on this site

Also, I need to know how to make those links into a box as they are on that site.

That's just your basic frame I think. Funky Chickens and HTML Goodies are pretty good for stuff like that. Look around there. You could also do a search on google for frame help.

To get the links open up in the main frame, all you have to do is target the frame in a link. For example:

<a href="URLHERE" target="FRAMENAME">LINK TEXT</a>

Thanks, that's a big help. Just one more question, does anyone know how to get the links all in one line? So that I had say

"Home" "Information"

Like that, and not:

"Home"

"Information"

???

If you just type in a row in the HTML file, it should come out like that. To space them out type "&nbsp;" - it creates a space, if you want the two links, say, 5 spaces apart, just type "&nbsp;" 5 times.

Sorry to have to ask another thing...but...

I managed to get two frames up - one for the text, and another one for a picture. Unfortuantely, now my background for the text has disappeared, and I need to resize my picture. Any help?
