I was thinking of picking one of these up, mainly for the co-op. I don't have live (at least until I get back to school), and would mostly play with my fiancee and friends anyways. I'd prefer to get one of the older ones, as I've still got to buy Pirates (which takes priority over every other game). How is the co-op on these games?

As far as I know there's only co-op on the third Splinter Cell, but there is a multiplayer in Pandora Tomorrow(the second) but we only got that working over system link on the Xbox, and I've never played the first one.

Yea, after doing more reading that's what it sounds like. I picked up Chaos Theory yesterday, and absolutely love it. Both single player and multi player are incredibly enjoyable. I'll pick up the 1st one as well, seeing as how it's only 7 bucks used.
