I just played Psychonaughts for the first time, for about an hour and a half. Man, this game is platformy goodness.

I usually hate platform games, but I was surprised at how much I like this one so far.

It just has so much personality. All the characters have so much dialogue and such, that it's fun to just sit there and listen to them. It's like a cartoon that you can play.

I'm not sure if the game can keep up this awesome pace, but so far, so good!

Has anyone else played this?

I haven't played it because the commercials make it seem cheesy and dumb, but maybe I should rent it. Wait, no. I just bought Madden, and that means 3 months of my life are committed to that.

I watched my friend play it a bit, seemed funny and engaging, but never bothered to pick it up yet.

Bah, I realise I spelled the title wrong. Oh well.

Anyways, I'm about 4-5 hours into the game, and I'm still loving it. The story is actually pretty cool, and so far there haven't been any levels that make me feel like they're just taking up space to make the game longer. There was even one level that made me laugh out loud, it came out of nowhere.

I'm very impressed so far.

It's indeed a damn fun game. It'll definitely be the sleeper hit of the year for sure.

It's got this cool-ass Tim Burton feel to it, and is a damn good platformer which will be overlooked.

Basically it's a platform game, but instead of traditional "levels", you go inside people's minds. That leads to some messed up, and hilarious, situations.
