My First Attempt At A Banner

What do you think? I have barely any knowledge of how to use Photoshop, but I think it is decent for a first attempt. All I did was add text to an image, and then crop it to make it smaller.

If anyone can take that, and improve upon it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Make sure to enable anti-alias in your options when applying text. So it's nice and smooth rather than jaggy.

I haven't anything else to say really since you didn't actually do anything.

I changed the text, and enabled the anti-aliasing, but it still looks a little jagged. I then went through the filters and effects, and found one or two that looked good (in my eyes at least). I then, using guidelines, drew a border. Does it looks better now? I wanted to make it look grainy and aged, and I think I accomplished that.
