Fuck the MPA.

This is getting fucking rediculous. I can understand the RIAA attacking filesharing because that is totally illegal, but, not to be outdone, the MPA is trying to shut down all lyrics and tab sites because they're "illegal." The two I've seen mentioned as dead so far is MxTabs and PowerTabs. Ultimate Guitar is staying because they pay licensing or something like that. It pisses me off because they claim, "Well, go out and buy the tab books." Guess what? There are hardly any fucking bass tab books to buy! I guess the next thing we see go are cover bands because they're making money off of another band's songs?

What pisses me off is that they say they're doing this in the interest of the artist, which is utter bullshit. If they were interested in the artist making a living, they'd take less of a cut.

Seriously, i have never seen tab books from new and rising bands. I've only ever seen them from big bands that have nothing else to sell. Honestly they could just take off the ones that are by those bands who sell their own tabs.
