IPod problem

Right, my ipod doesnt seem to want to work, so I thought Id see if anyone here knew what to do. When it starts up, after flashing the apple symbol, it shows a pic of a folder with a ! in front of it. I checked apple.com but all it said was to recharge it. My ipod has been charging for over a daym and still nothing.

Has this happened to anyone? or does anyone know how t fix it?

Hit the apple site and click on support, I think there's something there about it.

The folder probably means your hard drive's got a problem. Hook it to the computer and try using the iPod updater to Restore your iPod. It'll erase everything on it, but it should fix it.
