Out Of Character: Alright, I realize I told everyone I was unable to do my WCW 1992 Diary due to time constraints and such but I'm so interested in documenting my work in the EWR game that I just have to re-start something. Thus, I've come up with an idea that I think I can really get into and I hope to get you following along aswell.

---

Background Story: (Key Points taken from http://www.obsessedwithwrestling)

The year was 1960 and Rikidozans JWA was running strong promoting events in Japan as a half shoot half worked company. It was the first of the kind in Japan and Rikidozan was about to employ a Brizilan immigrant by the name of Kanji Inoki.

In the coming years Kanji Inoki would later change his name to Antonio Inoki. In 1966 Inoki made his first attempt at breaking away from the JWA when he formed his very own wrestling promotion, Tokyo Pro-Wrestling. As the new year began (1967) Inoki re-joined the JWA and Tokyo Pro-Wrestling folded.

After four years being with JWA this time Inoki was expelled from the promotion when it was discovered the only reason he had re-signed was to mastermind his plan to take over JWA. This led to Antionio Inoki creating his second promition which would be called, New Japan Pro Wrestling.

In 1972 New Japan Pro Wrestling held it's first event and would later go on to become a very globally known entity holding a banner of the National Wrestling Alliance in the years 1975-1985 and 1992-1993. Thought it's early stages though New Japan Pro Wrestling had a working relationship with Vince McMahon Sr and the World Wide Wrestling Federation between the years of 1975-1985. Coincidentally the same time that Inoki's New Japan Pro Wrestling was working with the National Wrestling Alliance. Those wouldn't be the only promotions Inoki would work with as he also sought a partnership with a number of companies through the following years.

- National Wrestling Federation (1970s)

- Internation Wrestling Enterprise (1979-1981)

- Universal Wrestling Association (1979-Present)

In 1983 New Japan Pro Wrestling commishoned the creating of a new set fo belts called the International Wrestling Grand Prix (IWGP) titles which are now considered the main championship on New Japan Pro Wrestling to this day and even rivals the All-Japan Pro Wrestling Triple Crown championship as the most important championship in all of Japan.

In May 26, 2005 Masakazu Kusama was fired as New Japan Pro Wrestlings president and replaced with Simon Inoki as the president of the company. Simon had married a daughter of Antionio Inoki and was now the brain-trust behind Antionio Inoki's creation.

On November 14, 2005 in a startling move that not only upset his father in law Antionio Inoki but also drove all the power away from the Inoki family, Simon Inoki sold New Japan Pro Wrestling to Yukes, an Osaka Japan based company that markets home videos and video games. Many relate Yukes with the creation of the World Wrestling Entertainment's Smackdown Video Game series. Simon kept office in the now Yukes owned New Japan Pro Wrestling but Antionio Inoki was now of little importance to the new company. The only ties he held with New Japan Pro Wrestling were the bonds he'd created with various wrestlers over his career.

---

Current Plan:

Antionio Inoki still upset with his son-in-law has come up with something better. His ultimate goal in all of professional wrestling was to be considered a world entity along side the likes of Vince McMahon Jrs World Wrestling Federation/Enterntainment. Inoki had tried to conquer that market from his home in Japan but was unsuccessful. Inoki had a better idea.

Inoki took flight and landed in the home of America, New York on February 1st, 2006. Inoki had many a meeting to attend to but the most important off all was with a finicial firm in New York by the name of; Snow & Snow Brokering. They were a stock brokering company whose company dividends were in the very high millions. Last year I believe they grossed somewhere near 800 Million alone, and Inoki had propositioned them into putting money into a new wrestling entity in the states. Snow & Snow Brokering gave in to the request and put an estimated 15 Million dollars into a new promotion which would now be headed up by Mr. Antionio Inoki himself.

The promotions details are as follows:

IPB Image

Name: King Of Sports - American Pro-Wrestling

Game Details: Easy. As I play the game, I will up the difficulty level but as of right now to start off I want things to hopefully run smoothly. If I complete 6 months without one negative month, I will up the difficulty and will continue to do so untill I'm playing on 'Rock Hard.

Opening Rosters and naming of the Promoter/Booker shall be forth coming. Keep in mind there will be some current New Japan Pro Wrestling stars who breach their contracts to come work for Antionio Inoki's King Of Sports - American Pro Wrestling promotion due to their historical bonds and ties with Inoki. Those who are willing to breach contracts will be scarce and Mr. Inoki will be looking into signing some of the hotter young stars today as well as some of the guys he's seen in the past. Check back for further updates.

The second and third day of February would be a very busy day for Mr. Inoki as he was in dire need of getting things underway. In order to do so Mr. Inoki created both of his championships aswell as finalized the contracts of those wrestlers who were willing to join him here in America. The championships were as follows.

Global Wrestling Championship - In an attempt to not only caputre the attention of the wrestling world but also state his goal Mr. Inoki created his main championship and dubbed it the 'Global' Wrestling Championship. The goals of Mr. Inoki were plain to see he wanted total domination of the wrestling world and he would do so now that he had the center of the world to ply his trade.

Image: 50%

Picture Base: IPB Image

Junior Heavyweight Championship - Mr. Inoki had created the IWGP Junior Heavyweight championship for his former promotion and realized along the way that simplicity sells. Thus the name for his new Junior Championship was very plain and straight to the point. Long gone were the storied histories of his former championship, now he had a clean slate.

Image: 37%

Picture Base: IPB Image

Finally and another huge part of Mr. Inoki's past two days was securing what talent he could bring with him from Japan to America. The talent had to be able to breach their contracts and possibly ruin their fan support in America so getting anyone to do this was going to be a challenge. There were only three men willing to do so and they are as follows.

IPB Image

Perry Saturn - A standout star in almost every promotion he was apart of in American he found troubled times in a character driven World Wrestling Federation. As he was let go from his contract Perry Saturn found work in Japan for New Japan Pro Wrestling, and up untill recently had done great there. Antionio Inoki was the man to give him a chance so Saturn has stayed loyal and traveled back to America in hopes of achieving the same fame he was garnered in Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling.

Overness: 68%

Card Postion: Midcarder

Disposition: Heel

IPB Image

Scott Norton - Formerlly nicknamed 'Flash', Mr. Norton is a powerhouse in every sense of the world. Infact the term 'Strong Style Wrestling' has never applied to anyone moreso then Scott Norton. In the mid-1990s Scott Norton left New Japan Pro Wrestling to compete for World Championship Wrestling therefore Mr. Inoki knew he would probably do so again. He was right and Scott Norton will be joining Saturn as two of the American Wrestlers in King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling.

Overness: 65%

Card Postion: Midcarder

Disposition: Heel

IPB Image

Jushin 'Thunder' Liger - The man considered to be the biggest shock of them all, Jushin Liger. He has been the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion 11 times and saw amazing success in New Japan Pro Wrestling before becoming a free lance worker and winning the NOAH GHC Junior Championship among his many other titles. Liger is probably the most recogonized wrestler from Japan and has competed for World Championship Wrestling numerous times aswell as Ring of Honor and more recently Total Non-Stop Action.

Overness: 71%

Card Postion: Upper Mid-Card

Disposition: Face

As the days began to pass Antionio Inoki had kept himself very busy. There was a vast amount of untapped talent in the states he was not aware of before. He'd contact some of his acquaitances from the past and then some of the guys he'd never even heard of untill his scouts suggested them. He finally came up with the thirty seven roster members that his assistant Sohpie suggested for him. They were as follows:

Singles Wrestlers:

"American Dragon" Bryan Danielson

Chad Logan

Charlie Haas

Chris Sabin

Danny Doring

David Flair

Jim Neidhart

Luis Ortiz

Machine

Marty Jannetty

Mike Rotundo

Mike Sanders

Perry Saturn

Scorpio Sky

Scott Norton

Shannon Moore

Stan Lane

Steve Corino

Super Dragon

Tajiri

Terry Funk

The Amazing Red

Typhoon

Xavier

Tag Teams:

Rockin' Roll Express - Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson

Havana Pitbulls - Ricky Reyes and Rocky Romero

The Briscoe Brothers - Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe

Wild Cards - "Black" Jack Marciano and Eddie Kingston

Gunning For Hookers - Top Gun Talwar and Hook Bomberry

Managers:

Mortimer Plumtree

Jimmy Hart

Lizzy Borden

Jim Cornette

As well as securing talent for the new promotion Mr. Inoki also got into contact with some corporate sponsors and managed to sign contracts with:

Sponsors:

Electronic Arts

Domino's Pizza

Sega

New Line Cinema

That wasn't all that Mr. Inoki was able to do, infact he has hand picked and officially signed all of the staff that he feels he will need for his new promotion to run properly. They are as follows:

Announcers:

Dave Meltzer (73)

Ed Ferrera (74)

Referees:

Earl Hebner (90)

John Finnegan (87)

Mark Johnson (90)

Production:

Tommy Carlucci (90)

Medical:

Mark Kavovit (85)

Neville Kipp (86)

Phil Guerrero (84)

Writers:

Allen Sarven (84)

Doug Croft (84)

Winston Keith (83)

Road Agents:

Dave Hebner (76)

Nicholas Alive (87)

And in one final piece of buisness as suggested by his personal assistant Sophie, he has put more money into the production and the advertising compaign raising them both respectively to 65%.

Mr. Inoki's days seemed to be packed full of getting this promotion ready and off of the ground. There was just about twenty days until their first major scale event; Fight With Pride which if things could be settled would be broadcast across the world on Pay Per View. Inoki would have more to do and they still needed a booker/promoter to be named.

In a light workout Shannon Moore one of the most known wrestlers in our Junior Heavyweight Division has ripped his bicep and will now be out of action for the next seven months. This comes as a devestating blow to our original plans to push Mr. Moore and now we must scramble to find a replacement.

In other news, it appears that Snow & Snow Brokering has been looking for someone to take the reigns of the company seeing as Mr. Inoki has yet to find anyone.

We'll have more news as we get it.

As the middle of the month becomes a stale time for most promotions, two in general have maken some waves. First off is the competition, World Wrestling Entertainment held their annual "No Way Out" pay per view with a 1.62 buy rate. The top five wrestlers for the World Wrestling Entertainment are as follows:

1. Kurt Angle

2. Hulk Hogan

3. The Undertaker

4. Batista

5. John Cena

This is pretty big news for the wrestling world, seeing as how Triple H isn't on top right now. We should all re-joice. Well, everyone except for Mr. Antionio Inoki and Triple H that is. On the King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling front Snow & Snow Brokering have came to terms with a booker/promoter for the company, taking some of the power from Mr. Inoki who was running himself tired with day to day dealings. The choosen man is none other then Jorden Snow, a son of an owner in Snow & Snow Brokering. Antionio Inoki had the following to say.

Antionio Inoki: "I feel like the power is being ripped from my hands. I know nothing of Mr. Jorden Snow-San. I only hope that we can work together to make American Pro-Wrestling a better place for the workers and the fans. I truly hope he's as knowledgeable in the sport as I was told."

When trying to catch up to Jorden Snow, we had troubles but did manage to get a statement from his new personal assistant Sophie.

Sophie: "Mr. Snow is expected to release the details of our first show, Fight With Pride very soon. As far as his legitimate background in pro wrestling, he has none. Jorden Snow is a fan and enthuasist of the sport and plans to give the fans exactly what it is they want to see. Jorden Snow will release an official statement later on in the month."

So there you have it, as the middle of the month gives way towards the better half we have a new booker/promoter for King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling and we are heading into our first event; Fight With Pride.

Stay tuned, as we will release a fan poll as to who gets certain spots on what cards very soon.

Jorden Snows Statement

Thank you for checking in on King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling. I am Jorden Snow and considered the day to day operator of this great company. I've had the pleasure to work with some of the best men in this buisness and couldn't be happier. I've also read the rumors and heard that myself and Mr. Inoki don't get along. We also have the special announcement dealing with Pay Per View. Yes, we will be broadcast on 'In-Demand' for those of you with Pay Per View access, and we look forward to entertaining you from your home if your not able to join us live at the event. - The match saw some of the most brilliantly planned spots of any four corners match in recent memory. Ultimo Dragon showed he was the veteran in the ring when he quickly turned a four corners match into a one on one contest by throwing both Red and Xavier to the outside. Dragon and Sabin hooked it up in what could be described as a marks dream. Dragon got to best of all four men with Red and Sabin showing they could stand toe to toe with the legend. Dragon ended the match with a "Dragon Suplex" on Xavier for the pin fall victory.

Jim Cornette Has Alot On His Mind

Jim Cornette: "The wrestling buisness has passed some of us up. Jimmy Hart is past his prime but managed to land a job here. That's amazing if you ask me. You see it takes a special kind of person with a special mind to be in the buisness this long. It takes a man with knowledge of the buisness and a nack for leading young talent to the promise land. If anyone in the back wants to be a star, get ahold of me."

Overall Rating: 79%

Jim Cornette has gained one point of overness.

Tag Team Match

Gunning For Hookers vs. Rockin' Roll Express.

- Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson made pretty quick work of both Top Gun Talwar and Hook Bomberry. The young lions showed they had some spark in them but it was to no avail. The Havana Pitbulls (Ricky Reyes and Rocky Romero) ran out and bashed Gunning For Hookers over the head with chairs, leaving Top Gun Talwar open for a missle dropkick.

Overall Rating: 62%

International Showdown

Tajiri vs. Scott Norton

- Tajiri played to the crowd as Scott Norton took quick offense and dropped him on his head with a powerbomb. The crowd shut up and prepared themselves for a clinic in Strong Style Wrestling from the master. Norton brutalized Tajiri through the entire match before Tajiri managed his back hand spring off the ropes for a shoulder and then locked in the Tarantula. Tajiri then hit some stiff kicks before the time limit ran out.

Scott Norton is losing overness because of his weak gimmick.

Old School vs. King Of Hardcore

Hardcore Rules Match

Steve Corino vs. Terry Funk

- This is what hardcore wrestling should be about. Corino and Funk tore into eachother with steel chairs and barbwire bats. This match was a bloodfest from the get go and Funk looked to be in solid control. Out of the crowd came "Above Average" Mike Sanders and ended up clocking Funk in the head with a flaming barbwire chair. Funk was down and out and Corino scored the pinfall.

Winners: Steve Corino.

Overall Rating: 74%

Crowd Reaction: 75%

Match Quality: 72%

Thanks For The Help

- Steve Corino and Mike Sanders continued to put the boots to Terry Funk as both men made a mockery of the fans in attendance. It appeared as if a new alliance had been born. One built from ego'tism and nothing more.

Overall Rating: 74%

Mike Sanders gained one point of overness from this segment.

Main Event

For the vacant Global Wrestling Championship

Charlie Haas vs. Jushin Liger

- This was a match many fans have dreamed about. Charlie Haas was considered one of the best workers today and Liger has a history that any fan can respect. The match was truly living up to it's expectations. Liger had hit the headbutt, Haas had attempted the "Haas of Pain" but neither man looked to be giving up. Out from the back was the difference maker, Lizzy Borden. She was scantaly clad and caught to attention of everyone including Charlie Haas, The Fans, and Jushin Liger. Much to the suprise of Charlie Haas he was caught off guard with a small package that saw Jushin Liger winning the bout.

New Global Wrestling Champion: Jushin 'Thunder' Liger.

Sophie Recaps The Month

Wednesday March 1st, 2006

Hello everyone, Sophie here and I have a news report now that we are finished with the month of February. First let me start off by saying, Wrestling With Pride was a huge success on so many levels we can not begin to describe what it has done for the company. Our guys are getting booked regularly based off of their performances this past week. We truly are becomming a larger then life company.

Now that we have that out of the way I've got some good news and bad news, as well as just some news worthy things to mention.

In the world of Professional Wrestling seeing someone retire is always a huge deal. When that someone is Ricky Steamboat it means even more. Yes that's right, Ricky Steamboat has choosen to put up his boots and retire at the end of this month. Ricky had became just a behind the scenes staff member early in 2005 but seeing him finally leave the buisness all together is a big deal. Ricky has always been a guiding light for the young wrestlers and this marks a historical date in wrestling history.

James Damon has also choosen to retire, which most don't know of him unless you are part of the buisness.

Another shocker comes from the orient, where Genichiro Tenryu has said that this will be his last month in the wrestling buisness. Tenryu has been a very big star in Professional Wrestling and developing that in Japan. I can confirm that King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling and both Jorden Snow and more importantly Antionio Inoki have both been in contact with Tenryu to have him appear on our next show as his final tribute and pay off. Tenryu has wrestled for New Japan Pro Wrestling many times and always had a good relationship with Mr. Inoki, we'll see how the departure of Inoki from New Japan Pro Wrestling effects this possible deal.

Don Caras and Robbie Ellis both have announced their retirments from the buisness as well. We wish both men the best in their life after leaving the buisness. Hopefully they won't forget their family that they've left behind in the buisness.

And now for some setbacks, it appears that World Wrestling Entertainment now has a new television show that will air on Tuesdays. I am not sure what the name of the show will be or the air time, but I'm sure we are looking at a prime time slot. This makes it harder for us to secure a television deal which we have been working on (spoilers).

There's such a thing as flooding the market, Vince McMahon sure does that alot.

We would like to wish the following wrestlers a very happy birthday.

Danny Doring (30)

Marty Jannetty (46)

Chris Sabin (24)

Top Gun Talwar (25)

And with that out of the way, we are proud to make the following announcement.

Breaking News!

From Mr. Antionio Inoki

Wrestling fans, followers of King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling I have a announcement today which will send shock waves through the wrestling community and most definitely change how things are looked at going into our next Pay Per View entitled 'Thirst For Gold.'

IPB Image

Quite a few wrestlers over this past month have been complaing about the ego and the behavior of Ms. Lizzy Borden, we at King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling tried to ease the situation and amend the problems. Ms. Borden was involved in our main event feud as a major player alongside Mr. Charlie Haas.

We thought we had everything covered.

Yesterday which was a Tuesday, specifically the 7th of March 2006 Ms. Lizzy Borden decided to completely disregard a public autograph signing we had scheduled for her to appear at. We have been promoting the Pay Per View since the first of the month and she was an intergeral part of the promotion being that she was so high up in our booking.

Since she has no showed a public event and the result is her termination from our country.

We wish Ms. Lizzy Borden the best in her furture endevors and hope only for the best.

Sophie Checks In.

Today, I fell that it's quite necessary to update everyone on the situations going on there in McMahon Land. Normally I wouldn't pay much attention to the things they do since we offer a totally different product from them, but their recent signings come with some huge names.

Let me give a roll call of the four workers they have just recently signed.

Chris Jericho.

Al Snow.

Sonny Siaki.

Masahiro Chono.

Number one and number four are huge signings and should be instantly added to the roster and make huge impacts. Both men are incredible wrestlers and we wish them the best in the furture work.

Pre-Show Match

David Flair vs. Machine vs. Super Dragon vs. Xavier

- This was a pretty basic pre-show matchup. Machine showed his power, Super Dragon and Xavier hit some nice combo moves and some strong style kicks. David Flair took it old school and ended up winning the match with a figure four leg lock on Machine.

Winner: David Flair.

Overall Rating: 56%

Introducing The Future

- Jim Cornette made his way to the ring with a microphone in hand and his trusty tennis racket. Cornette stepped through the ropes and into the ring and began to speak.

Jim Cornette: "At the very last show I said that if you want to be the best you must align yourself with the best. I offered my services to anyone who thought they had what it took, but needed just a little bet more in order to become a star in this buisness. Someone answered that challenge."

Just then, and from behind Chris Sabin came slidding in behind Jim Cornette. The fans cheered as Sabin came into the ring, hopefully to shut up Jim Cornette. Sabin held his fist up as if to punch Jim Cornette, unbeknownst to Jim Cornette. Sabin rallied the fans as Cornette turned around and Sabin dopped his fist.

Jim Cornette: "What are you doing out here son? I said I wanted my star to come out here, to shake my hand."

With that Chris Sabin stuck his hand out and Jim shook it. Then both men hugged and the fans began to be confused. Cornette was popular with the purists but has been known to cheat and be a pretty ruthless guy in the past. No one could quite predict exactly what Chris Sabin was doing aligning himself with someone like Jim Cornette.

Overall Rating: 70%

Tag Team Triple Threat

Rockin' Roll Express vs. Havana Pitbulls vs. Gunning For Hookers

- This match was sort of a let down considering the talent of both the Rockin' Roll Express and the Havana Pitbulls. Gunning For Hookers were simply involved in this match because of their match last month. Rockin' Roll Express controlled most of this match, yet the Havana Pitbulls managed to pull the win out of no where when they got Ricky Reyes hit Hook Bomberry with a Fishermans Buster.

Winner: Havana Pitbulls.

Overall Rating: 54%

Crowd Reaction: 40%

Match Quality: 69%

Ricky Morton is losing overness because of his weak gimmick.

Singles Match

"American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. Mike Rotundo

- This was a match of a purist from the past taking on an incredible technical wrestler of the future. Mike Rotundo worked the legs of Bryan Danielson. "American Dragon" applied a different technique and attacked the wrist of Mike Rotundo. This match was a very entertaining match which saw Bryan Danielson win the match with the Flying Headbutt of the top rope.

Winner: "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson.

Junior Heavyweight Championship Singles Match

Ultimo Dragon © vs. Chris Sabin

- What an incredible match this was. Chris Sabin truly showed that he is a major contended during the early parts of this match as both Ultimo Dragon and Chris Sabin pulled some innovative chain wrestling spots. Sabin hit a huge springboard dropkick on Ultimo Dragon. As the referee was checking on Ultimo Dragon, Chris Sabin removed the turnbuckle padding. Sabin tried to slingshot Ultimo Dragon into the corner, but Dragon reversed it and sent Sabin into the corner himself. Sabin looked to be knocked out and the refere was checking on him. Jim Cornette came running down towards the ring and nailed Ultimo Dragon in the head with his tennis racket. Sabin rolled over ontop of him for the pin fall and got the three count.

Winners: Chris Sabin.

Chris Sabin gained 1 point of overness from this turn.

"Above Hardcore" - Prove It!

Hardcore Rules Match

Terry Funk vs. "Above Average" Mike Sanders

- Terry Funk opened the match with a chair shot and Mike Sanders was on dream streak from the very beginning. Funk pulled a barbwire wrapped bat from under the ring and planted it across the back of Mike Sanders. Terry Funk was truly showing why he is considered the "Hardcore Legend" when from the back Steve Corino came running out with a barbwire wrapped steel chair. Corino swung it at the forehead of Terry Funk and knocked him out cold. Mike Sanders covered him for the pinfall.

Winners: "Above Average" Mike Sanders.

Overall Rating: 67%

Crowd Reaction: 69%

Match Quality: 65%

Mike Sanders gained 1 point of overness from this match.

Retirement Match

Genichiro Tenyru vs. Tajiri

- This match showcased very old school Japanese techniques as both men worked the ground and some slow submissions to start the match. The headlock looked to be the most important hold in the match as both men went back to it as many times as possible. Tenyru broke out from Tajiri with a few stiff chops and a forearm smash that earned him a two. Tajiri laid into Tenyru with some kicks and then the mist for a two count. Tajiri pulled out a brainbuster for the finish as he went over Genichiro Tenyru

Winners: Tajiri.

Overall Rating: 63%

Crowd Reaction: 55%

Match Quality: 72%

Thank You, for being you!

- As soon as the Tajiri vs. Genichiro Tenyru match was finished, Antionio Inoki and most of the wrestlers backstage made their way to the ring and presented Mr. Tenyru with a lifetime achievement award. Jushin 'Thunder' Liger was carrying not only his Global Championship Belt but also a replica belt which he gave to Genichiro Tenyru for all his achievements in the wrestling world. Tenyru began to cry without say a word, bowed to Mr. Inoki and then thanked the wrestlers.

Overall Rating: 57%

Main Event

Global Wrestling Chamionship - Falls Count Anywhere

Jushin 'Thunder' Liger © vs. Charlie Haas

- Both men showed their wrestling skill and Charlie Haas showed that he would fight fair. The recent firing of Lizzy Borden who appeared to be playing with Haas' head didn't seem to distract him. Haas was back in prime form and both men landed huge high impact moves and tried for pinfalls every chance they could. Both men were only able to get two counts untill Liger climbed to the top rope in order to hit the Diving Headbutt. Mortimer Plumtree climbed over the guard rail from the crowed and got on the apron. The referee was checking on Haas who was down in the center of the ring and Plumtree pushed Liger off the top into the ring. Haas got to his feet and locked in the Haas Of Pain causing Jushin 'Thunder' Liger to tap out. Mortimer Plumtree gets into the middle of the ring and Haas looks a bit confused. Haas goes over and pushes him away from Liger. Haas helps Liger to his feet and Mortimer Plumtree begins to back away from both men. Haas in a shocking turn of events, lifts Liger to his shoulders and hits a death valley driver. Mortimer Plumtree rushes over and stomps on the downed Liger before shaking hands with Haas signaling their new alliance.

Winner and Still Global Wrestling Champion: Charlie Haas.

Sophie Comments On The Month

Well, we came off a blockbuster pay per view and it was very good. We have two new champions, Chris Sabin and Charlie Haas. Quite a suprise, but we'll see what the following months bring with their new title runs.

World Japan wrestling has announced their touring rosters for this coming year and we are glad to announce that none of our wrestlers are contracted to do any of their tours. Lucky for you fans, as you'll still get to see all of our wrestlers in action.

Chris Sabin had a bit of a dispute with the company heads and we've come to terms for a 10% wage increase for Mr. Sabin, we only hope he can continue to deliver the outstanding matches he's been giving recently.

We've got three wrestlers with birthdays this month.

Charlie Haas (34)

David Flair (26)

Mike Rotundo (45)

We would also like to announce a new signing, though we won't be saying his name just yet. We've come to terms with an amazing talent in professional wrestling, whose held world championships in the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling. He should be debuting with the company by time for the very next show.

Speaking of, we've also announced our next pay per view.

Pride, Glory, and Hart

A Future With Pride

That's right, King Of Sports: American Pro-Wrestling would like to announce the opening of our new training facility in Chicago, Illinois which will be ran by Lance Storm along with his partners Tommy Dreamer and Rocky Johnson. All three men have over twenty years in the buisness combined and should groom some of the best talent possible.

Goodluck to all of the wrestlers in A Future With Pride.

Performer Signs With Rival Promotion

Sophie here and do I have some disappointing news for everyone out there who loves King Of Sports: American Pro-Wrestling. As some of you may know, we have a couple workers who were just on verbal contracts due to their commitments in Japan aswell as some here in the states. Those workers are as follows.

Verbal Contracts:

Scott Norton.

Steve Corino.

Chris Sabin.

Mr. Norton and Mr. Corino have strong ties over in Japan which have influenced their decisions to only work on a verbal agreement, though we feel we won't have a problem with them leaving. Mr. Chris Sabin who as of late has been very pushy about his salary, has signed a long term deal with Total Non-Stop Action. Yes our Junior Heavyweight Champion who was involved in a very high profile storyline with one Jim Cornette has agreed to work for Total Non-Stop Action full time.

The reason this happened is because Total Non-Stop Action have recently went global, after only being considered a National Promotion (such as us). In order to go global they needed to secure their talent, and since we were both using Mr. Sabin, they signed him out from under us.

Now we are forced to scramble and find a replacement for the next pay per view, as well as re-do our storylines, crown a new champion. Yes, we have a very busy couple of days ahead of us before our Pay Per View. We wish the best of luck to Chris Sabin, and hope that his decision is a wise one.

Goodluck.

And in other news, Jushin 'Thunder' Liger has announced that he's found religion and is a changed man. We wish Mr. Liger the best of luck in his new choices. We also can't wait to see him back in action at our next Pay Per View Pride, Glory, and Hart

We'll be back shortly with a card preview for our pay per view.

The match was pretty even until King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling new commer Frainke "The Future" Kazarian came running down the aisle and blasted Ultimo Dragon with a super kick allowing Bryan Danielson to lock the cattlemutilation in for the submission victory.

A Hart with Pride and Glory

- The music of professional wrestling legend, Bret 'The Hitman' Hart began to play as the Excellence of Execution made his way down the aisle and to the ring. Once he was in the ring he grabbed a microphone and began to speak.

Bret Hart: "It's been a long time since I've stood in the center of a wrestling ring and it feels good. You see, I've always said I wasn't greedy for money, I was greedy for respect. I think I've earned my respect, for the wars I've waged between these ropes in many different companies, on many different continents. My singles victories speak for themselves, my world championship reigns speak for themselves and I am 'The Best there is, the best there was, and the best there ..."

Just as Bret Hart was about to finish his classic catchprase someone could be heard squealing from the entrance way and out stepped Jimmy Hart with his classic megaphone followed closely by Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart. Both men made their way to the ring and the confrontation ensued.

Jimmy Hart: "Your singles wins speak loud and clear for ya baby? What about all the tag gold we helped you get?"

Bret Hart: "I was a great tag wrestler, and without the two of you I wouldn't be where I'm at today."

Jim Neidhart: "That's right, because if it wasn't for us taking you under our wing you'd be floundering somewhere losing to old veterans who wouldn't give you the chance, still."

Bret Hart: "Hey calm down Anvil. I'll give the devil his due, you guys helped me rocket to superstardom."

Jimmy Hart: "We helped alot more then that baby, if it wasn't for us there'd be no 'Excellence of Execution' baby!"

Bret Hart: "That's right but I had something I wanted to really get out here, if I could for a minute. I want to set a challenge up to anyone who thinks they can go one on one with the 'Excellence of Execution'. So if you think you've got what ..."

Jim Neidhart: "What about us Bret? Why not do this tag team style, for the best tag team out there versus the best tag team in the history, The Hart Foundation."

Bret Hart: "Alright, Yea ... That can work. How about we start it tonight, the four best teams go head to head. With the two winners moving on to a finals match next month. The winner of that will face 'The Hart Foundation' to crown the brand new tag team champions, since I hear Mr. Inoki is planning on introducting those titles."

Jimmy Hart: "You mean, if we win that match you guys'll have the gold baby?"

Jim Neidhart: "You damn right."

Bret Hart: "Sure, now lets do this. I'm sure we've got some tag teams to study."

With that the re-formed Hart Foundation exited the ring and King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling viewers prepared themselves for one hell of a mini tag team tournament.

Overall Rating: 60%

Jim Neidhart debuted his new gimmick, it got a positive response.

Jimmy Hart gained 1 point of overness from this segment.

Bret Hart lost 2 points of overness from this segment.

Tag Team Tournament - First Round Match

Rockin' Roll Express vs. Gunning For Hookers

- The legends of tag team wrestling Rockin' Roll Express showed this young upstart tag team just exactly what working together was all about, as they have for months on end now. Gunning For Hookers never really got anything going and the match was all but over when Ricky Reyes and Rocky Romero, The Havana Pitbulls ran from the crowd and nailed Ricky Morton with a steel chair. It was to no avail though as Robert Gibson hit his own version of a leg drop ddt and scored a pinfall over Hook Bomberry.

Winners: Rockin' Roll Express.

Overall Rating: 56%

Crowd Reaction: 42%

Match Quality: 71%

Ricky Morton debuted his new gimmick, it got a positive response.

Setting The Trap

- Jushin 'Thunder' Liger was knealing backstage in a dark corner with his hands over his chest, praying. Jushin Liger had become quite the religious man as of late, then again he's always been very spiritule as of late. Mortimer Plumtree rounded the corner and saw Liger and began yelling at him.

Mortimer Plumtree: "Hey loser, do you think praying and all that garbage is going to help you win?"

Jushin 'Thunder' Liger was unfazed. He paid no attention to Mortimer Plumtree so it just kept Plumtree going.

Mortimer Plumtree: "I'm talking to you loser. Do you really think god or buddah or whoever you worship is going to help you beat Charlie Haas tonight? You've lost how many times? Your never going to beat him again, the first time was a fluke. Your a hasbeen!"

That was enough, Liger jumped up from his knealing position and took of sprinting after Mortimer Plumtree. Liger followed him around the corner and *BANG*, Charlie Haas was standing there waiting for him. Haas nailed Liger with a clothesline that sent him to the ground. Liger rolled over on his stomach and that gave Haas the perfect opening to lock in the 'Haas of Pain'.

The cameras cut back to ringside as security officials rushed towards Liger and Haas breaking the two up.

Overall Rating: 64%

Mortimer Plumtree gained 3 points of overness from this segment.

Tag Team Tournament - First Round Match

Havana Pitbulls vs. The Briscoe Brothers

- This was tag team wrestling at it's finest. The Havana Pitbulls have already proven time and time again they could really wrestle and the Briscoe Brothers who were making their debut were a young, impressive tag team with tons of double team moves. This match was a true classic in the making and the Havana Pitbulls looked to be on the short end of the contest. Mark Briscoe tried to whip Ricky Reyes, but it was reversed as Mark ran towards the ropes Rocky Romero kicked Mark in the back of the head knocking him out. Ricky Reyes climbed to the top and hit a moonsault for the pinfall. The Havana Pitbulls stayed in the ring after the contest taunting the crowd.

Winners: Havana Pitbulls.

Overall Rating: 66%

Crowd Reaction: 45%

Match Quality: 87%

Final Hardcore Battle

Steve Corino vs. Terry Funk

- This was the final battle between these two rivals. Steve Corino and his protege Mike Sanders had gotten the best of Legend Terry Funk time and time again. Corino had said he'd beat him one last time then he was done with this feud. Funk said he wouldn't get so lucky this last time. Both men battled it out with chairs, chains, and even the ring bell. Terry Funk drug a table into the ring and set it up, Corino caught Funk off guard with a DDT, then proceeded to light the table on fire. Corino set Funk on the top rope and climbed up there with him, Corino positioned him for a piledriver and hit one off the top through the flaming table. Corino covered him for the pinfall. Both men drug themselves to their feet and Corino stuck out his hand as a sign of respect. The fans boo'd but Corino insisted, Funk obliged and both men shook hands in the center of the ring. Terry Funk had truly passed the torch.

Winner: Steve Corino

Overall Rating: 76%

Crowd Reaction: 77%

Match Quality: 75%

Steve Corino lost 3 points of overness from this match.

Tripe Threat Number One Contenders Match

Tajiri vs. Scott Norton vs. Perry Saturn

- This match looked like a squash from the very beginning. Scott Norton was hitting shoulder tackles, clotheslines and powerslams from the opening bell. Saturn fired back with a T-Bone suplex on Norton and then a Northern Lights Suplex on Tajiri. Then it was time for the 'Japanese Buzzsaw' to take his turn and he landed some stiff kicks, a shinning wizzard and a dragon screw before spitting his mist in the face of Perry Saturn. Tajiri ran towards the corner, jumped over the ropes and then locked the Tarantula on Scott Norton. The referee forced him to break the hold and Tajiri went back on the offensive, landing a stiff kick to the side of Saturns head for a three count.

Winner: Tajiri.

Overall Rating: 69%

Crowd Reaction: 62%

Match Quality: 77%

Scott Norton is losing overness because of his weak gimmick.

Global Wrestling Championship Match

Charlie Haas © w/ Mortimer Plumtree vs. Jushin 'Thunder' Liger

- This was the third time these men have done war inside the ring and they were both split with one victory apiece. Charlie Haas' victory which earned him the championship at our very last show, was tainted but neither Haas or Mortimer Plumtree would acknowledge that fact. The match began with some nice solid ground work chain wrestling which saw Liger get the upper hand after a running Liger Bomb which earned him a two count. Haas battled back with some forearms and a clothesline and then an STF that almost caused Liger to submit. Both men were back to their feet and Haas ended up pulling the quick victory out of no where with a roll up thanks to the distraction of Mortimer Plumtree.

Winner and Still Global Wrestling Champion: Charlie Haas.

Overall Rating: 77%

Sophie Has News

Hello all you hot guys out there, and you ugly girls, I've got quite a few things to run down this evening. We are fresh off of our Pay Per View 'Pride, Glory, and Hart', which saw quite a few things.

First off was the debut of two new stars, Franky "The Future" Kazarian who looks to have his sites set on the Junior Heavyweight Championship and then there was the return of wrestling legend Bret 'The Hitman' Hart to professional wrestling. At first he appeared to have alot of on his mind and wanted to issue a singles challenge, but the interruption by Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart and Jimmy Hart changed the plans. Now there is a minuature tag team tournament in which the winners will face The Hart Foundation for the new straps that we are planning on introducing. Should be quite good times for King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling.

Also a few notes to go over after the pay per view, Robert Gibson of the Rockin' Roll Express complained about his card placement so we moved him up a bit on our booking sheets so he could be satisfied. We don't mind working with our roster, just gives us a notice and we will certainly do whatever it takes to keep you happy.

And in other news, both World Wrestling Entertainment and Total Non-Stop Action held Pay Per View events this weekend and here are the details.

World Wrestling Entertainment - Backlash

Buy Rate: 1.99

Attendance: 20,732

Pay Per View Revenue: $4,975,000.00

Ticket Sales: $1,243,920.00

Total Non-Stop Action - LockDown

Buy Rate: 0.96

Attendance: 11,627

Pay Per View Revenue: $2,400,000.00

Ticket Sales: $697,620.00

In some other news and this comes as a big disappointment to everyone, we recently sent out promotional tapes to Fox Sports Net looking to possibly get a television deal and that fell through. Appears since Fox Sports Net wasn't doing very good buisness with Total Non-Stop Action on their programming last fall they don't even want to entertain the thought of another wrestling program. We will be sending out some tapes to another station here soon and if they reject the idea, we've got a backup plan that sees us on the air quite a bit more. We'll keep you posted.

In a rather shocking move it appears that Jeff Jarrett will be retiring after this month, it's not sure if he'll just be leaving Total Non-Stop Action or if he'll be leaving the buisness all together. We'll have to wait and find out. Mascara Ano 2000 has retired this month as well as another major announcement about retiring.

Percy Pringle better known to fans around the world as Paul Bearer has announced this will be his last month. It comes as quite a shock as I can finally admit that we at King Of Sports American Pro-Wrestling had been in talks with Mr. Pringle about a manager role for a tag team of Machine and Luis Ortiz who looked to be tailor made for a darkside gimmick with the original Paul Bearer. Best of luck to Mr. Pringle in all his future work, the buisness will miss him.

More startling good news for Total Non-Stop Action as their show Impact has been promoted to prime time and they also have a new television show on Sundays. The name or time of the show is yet to be determined.

Quite a few bankruptcies in the wrestling world this month and those companies that have gone under are as follows:

East Coast Wrestling Association.

Jersey All Pro Wrestling.

Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling.

All Pro Wrestling.

Chaotic Wrestling.

In our final bit of buisness before I leave you we would like to with The Amazing Red (24) and Machine (27) a happy birthday.

Keep yourself posted as I'll be back before the month is over with more news, notes and some show previews.

Untill then, I'm out kiddies.
