I've only heard "Leviathan", it's a top notch album. I heard a new release was imminent, so it better be good. Listening to the song now. I love the riff.

It's a good song. Nothing overly amazing...much like all the other Mastadon stuff I've heard. I sort of get the feeling of "Yeah this is amazing stuff. The technical side is great. It's easy enough to get into. But it just seems to be missing a hook." like I seem to with the other stuff I've heard. Still, good song.

The song is quite good. But the above poster is right, there isn't much of a hook to it. But if this song is any indication, Blood Mountain should be a great CD.

Another great song by Mastodon. I probably prefer this to Crystal Skull, but most of the songs off Leviathan are better, imo.

And I absolutely love Mastodon's drumming, their drummer is fucking unreal. Some good guitar work on the new tracks also.
