EWB College Football Pick Em!

I kept the spreads on for College, and not for NFL because it actually matters on the NCAA pick 'em. Anyone can pick Texas over North Texas, but with the spread it's actually a challenge and hard. Second, I thought about changing them and when I was going to I noticed many people had already made their picks, therefore me changing it to non-spread at that time could have fucked them out of a correct pick if they had picked looking at the spread.

Spread just sucks, Spreads are only important in betting and the NFL. College Spreads is just retarded. Never let Cole create anything again.

How are the spreads more important in the NFL? It's much harder to choose the handful of could be competitive games each week in the NFL compared to the one or two in College. Having the spread for NCAA Pick 'Em makes not only choosing a powerhouse a possibly gutsy choice based on the spread but also allows the standings not to be the same outside of two points where the top people chose different for the first two big games of the year and then the rest of the year all the same picks.

Whatever...I changed it due to what you people wanted, and kept the spread out of the NFL league I created based on the reasons above, lets try not to bitch about that later.

I didn't think it was going to be such a big deal.

And as for confidence points, I disliked playing with them in last years pick 'ems so I turned them off. I don't like being able to put 1 point on say Ohio State to beat Texas in week 2 not making a difference if I get it right or not and then the highest point amount, 14 on Texas killing North Texas in week 1, etc.

Eh, do what the hell you want, Cole, but it's just picking college teams for bragging rights, not goddamn rocket science and it shouldn't be overdone like spreads are.

EDIT: And the big name games will certainly pick up as the season goes by. Everyone knows that the first week is a weak week because teams just want to get a good win in before the real opponents come crawling.
