I just picked it up last night and haven't had a chance to play it yet, but when I do I will let everyone know my thoughts. Does anyone else have the game or plan on getting it?

I have it. Haven't played single player yet, but I love the multiplayer. You gotta play the right matches online though, if you play ranked anything but Team Survival, the game isn't fun at all. Too many people care about their rank, they do shit like spawn camp and do the cheesiest shit ever.

The graphics are good, as usual. Game play is great, but man is this damn thing hard as hell!

I exchanged Sonic the Hedgehog for Rainbow Six: Vegas earlier in the week and I'm chuffed with my decision to do so. I am loving R6V so far. Great gameplay and graphics as StylesClash pointed out and it is quite difficult in parts I've found, but not so difficult to deter you from playing it.

I'm currently going through the first mission, my team mates have been captured and I've got to go after them with just a pistol. I can get to this one point where you go down a staircase and there's enemies on both sides of you. How the hell do you do that bit? I keep getting shot to shreds, even when slowly going down the stairs and trying to pick off one enemy at a time

Basically, that part is a real bitch. You need to basically kill everyone in one shot there. You get a shotgun eventually, which makes it a bit easier, but the part with the pistol is one of the hardest in the game

Yeah I did it shortly after I posted that. Slowly edged along one wall, took enemies out one by one with my shotgun.

I'm still enjoying it, multiplayer is fun but I prefer the one player where you get to direct your own team.

the only thing that irks me about multiplayer is how long it takes to find a decent match.
