For example, The Eagles hold the record for best selling CD..

and i think Pink Floyd might hold the record for longest on billboard charts... with 741 weeks with Dark Side Of The Moon

Guiness Book of World records Has a few.

The only one I can remember is that the most sucessful posthumous artist ever is Kurt Cobain :-/ I would have thought it would have been John Lennon, but whatever.
