Audioslave's new album

Yeah, I know what you mean.  I hope to God that Cornell stays away from the drink and drugs, he has one of the best voices, but seems likely to mess it up.  That said, he blew me away the first time I heard Cochise, I never expected him to hold the note for that long.

Cornell exited rehab for alcoholism just as Audioslave began touring for the debut album. He's now sober, and I don't know of any instances where he was involved with the typical "grunge" drugs: heroin, cocaine, etc.

So he should be fine, so long as he can remain sober (read: not be like Eddie Vedder.)

Edit: And before I forget, congrats go out to Mr. Cornell, who recently celebrated his marriage to Vicky Karayiannis, a Paris publicist. It's her first marriage, and his second (the first being to former Soundgarden and Alice In Chains manager Susan Silver.)

I like them, but the album bores me, it's just not an album I want to listen to regularly. Hopefully this album will be better, not sure if I'll buy it though. I might just buy more RATM albums :)

I'll just buy more Soundgarden albums. :)

Soundgarden > RATM and Audioslave
