All Stars Scenario!

Recommended Posts

Okay so basically its a scenario I have seen people want in the past and so I am going to take a shot at it myself. Its not going to be done over night, it will be more like a project over the summer but I will be needing some help if possible.

A scenario that includes the greatest promotions and greatest stars of different eras while they were in their prime. The promotions I have in mind are WWF/E, WWWF, WCW, ECW, AWA, WCCW, JCP, TNA & ROH. I have thought about others but unless their is a specific demand for them I shall leave them out.

All the wrestlers shall be in between the ages of 25-40 (With one or two exceptions) and am looking at between 30-60 wrestlers per roster. I have decided to to add WWWF as a seperate entity because I can have Vince Sr as the chairman plus through their years they had a pretty impressive roster. Certain companies may also have working agreements with Japanese and Mexican companies to incorporate those wrestlers. Some of the wrestlers who dont make the cut on a roster will be added as an "Other Worker". For those workers who spent time in more than one company they will be added to the company where they had the most success and impact.

It wont be a case where all companies will be global, they will be placed at a relevant size compared to the height of their existance. To keep in with this the companies are not going to be filled with around 30 main eventers...I am going to try and keep this as realistic as possible.

The help comes in on the fact that im not fully clued up on all those companies. I have some knowledge on all fo them but not to the point where I could do this all myself. I would especially need some help with WWWF, AWA and WCCW and maybe JCP on things like rosters and staff. But any suggestions or additions please feel free to add here. If you can offer me extended help then by all means please let me know.

A couple of side notes was should I actually split the WWF and WWE up to so that the McMahon companies are represented in 3 different generations. Also as example is Hogan better suited to WWF or WCW...items like that.

Thanks for the time guys

Nathan.

Good luck to you I will definitely try it out when your done. Buuut many have attempted this and never see it through since its so much work

Yeah im aware unfortunately, which is why im being realistic in calling it a project for the summer. Im not going to push myself and say its going to be ready next week because like most I work for a living and this like you say is a lot of work. But im sure I can give this a good shot.

I recommend making specific time periods for the promotions, also. Like WWF: Attitude, and The Golden Era, etc.

I did consider this but when I was thinking about it it would just add too much to the work load. Id be willing to split WWWF, WWF and WWE but thats kinda it. I know especially for the WWF and WWE no one is going to be fully happy with the rosters that will be chosen which is why I am going to add some open workers from the different time periods. If I add say 3 different time periods for WWF alone...it would just be too much.

Rasko as far as TNA goes, im not a huge fan either but theres no denying it has been number 2 to WWE ever since it opened 9 years ago...while it may not be a close second its hard to deny its status.

Okay so here is the deal. This is a first draft of the WWF roster (baring in mind WWWF and WWE is still to come). Some of these characters have already been added in to the game but this is a chance for any big objections or suggestions to be made. A couple of notes I wanted to say from the get go...the reason some people have been excluded that you would expect to see is because I think they have played a bigger part in the history of a different company (Curt Henning in AWA, Rick Rude in WCCW as 2 examples). Obviously the biggest exclusion here is that of Hulk Hogan.

I racked my brain on Hogan and which company to put him in and I chose him to be in WCW. Not necessarily that his part in WCW was bigger than it was in WWE but its because the NWO was a HUGE deal for WCW and Hogan, Hall and Nash IMO have to be included in WCW for that reason. WWF still has a damn strong main event list so I felt okay with excluding Hogan. The likes of Triple H, Edge, Kane, Big Show and so on have been left for WWE because I did not want to over ccrowd WWF and they all played a bigger part in WWE IMO. I will look at stables for the company when I get back online later.

The time frame of this is basically 1984-2001 so if there are any suggestions please let me hear them, theres no point in me doing this if no one will be happy with it.

Thanks guys

Nathan

if you do add TNA to the game it should be there roster from 2004-2006, the best couple of years TNA produced

Your not the only person to actually suggest that. Ive had one or 2 PM's suggesting similar. My beef with TNA is that they have never been short of amazing talent, but they never use them to the best of their ability. Post 2005 I never really watch it. They spent so much time building themselves up as the "Number 1 Alternative" As opposed to what...the number 1 alternative to the best. Even still im happy enough that I could do a decent enough roster for TNA.

On a side note people I really do need some help with the likes of AWA, WCCW, WWWF and JCP to an extent. Like ive mentioned before I do have knowledge of the companies but I dont think enough to do complete justice. So if you can help out then please by all means let me know on here or by PM please.

The first drafted roster for WCW and WWE should be up today or tommorow.

Cheers guys

Nathan.

Not given up but as you can imagine. Its a Herculean task! I do not work on this every single day, I work on it when I get time and genuinely have nothing else to do. I do plan on completing this but it is far from being anywhere near top priority for me. (Y)

I will see if I can post the first update around Easter Time

I understand the want to ask this question, but it no doubt puts added pressure on the guy usually. For me it's more of a "it'll be done when it's done" kinda deal and that's it.
