Wasn't sure where to place this thread, it's not really entertainment but didn't seem to fit in the computer and coding forum. If I chose wrong can someone move it? Thanks.

On to the problem. I brought a dvd player back from Malaysia, which plugs into the back of my tv using a standard scart cable. Although, on all the tv's in my house, it only displays the picture and films in black and white. My girlfriend has the same one, her one plays in colour fine.

I know there aren't a lot of details there, but does anyone have any solutions as to why I'm stuck with black and white?
