Okay, so, I've been working on creating an alternate wrestling world on and off for the last two years and have come, for the most part, to a creative stand-still. I have the majority of the largest promotion done, including a complete history [up to August 2012] of the main event & midcard championships [Heavyweight and Grand Prix, respectively]. I have an almost complete roster for the promotion and a good amount of staff members. I have the beginning stages of the second largest promotion completed, with a few workers, some staff, and a bit of a backstory for the company. I have the basis of two other promotions laid out, with one being a UK-based, soon-to-be global promotion. I've run out of ideas for workers, however, and am now reaching out to the EWB community for some suggestions. I'll likely be creating a picture pack to go with the scenario once it is complete, as I have taken pictures of real-life workers and used them as a base for my created individuals. However, I have no idea how to upload files and what not, so if there is anyone out there that would be willing to play this scenario and has the knowledge of how to do such things, you're more than welcome to shoot me a message.

Things I'm looking for are ideas for more promotions [preferably anything below National. I already have two National Promotions - one in the UK - and a Global. There is one Cult level promotion as well, but that is all.], more workers [both active and retired, as I'd like to have some history for the scenario as opposed to just some random created folks], staff members, etc. If anyone is interested, I'll gladly post some of the stuff that I already have done. I think it would be cool for those of us that find EWR more enjoyable to have something like the CornellVerse to toy around with.

Here's an idea for a Cult/Regional fed i've got. 5 wrestlers who wrestled during the early 90's got together and decided that no wrestling company was doing fun right. So The Fun Five as they were known decided to start a new company and training center called Fighting;Usually Not boring or FUN. So far all i've got is that and the 5 wrestlers who founded it; Craig The Clown (Doink), Smooth Move Johnson (Slick), Azy Brown (Koko B. Ware) and The Herders Larry and Ben Hearder (The Bushwackers). I'll try to come up with a roster later, when i have some fresh ideas.

Background: During the early-to-middle years of the 1900s, wrestling was predominantly a regional venture. The stars of yesterday were known mainly throughout the region in which they wrestled. However, that all changed when a collection of promotions, headed by the Midwest Championship Wrestling and William Jennings. Opening its doors in1979, Big Time Wrestling took the industry by storm. The companyquickly exploded onto the scene and rose to National prominence within only twoyears. BTW would obtain the top spot in the wrestling world a year later due totheir great wrestling and their exciting younger workers. However, as timepassed, and more companies starting popping up, BTW began losing steam. By 1994, Big Time Wrestling had fallen fromgrace after their product had become stale [but they were still the biggest wrestling promotion in the US] with the wrestling fans of the erachoosing the storylines and next generation of stars in the other promotionsover their current happenings. It was at this time that BTW brass decided thepromotion was in need of an influx of young talent that had helped bring it toprominence nearly ten years earlier. Theyouth movement was on, and with it, Big Time Wrestling hit its stride oncemore. The promotions most financiallysuccessful year came only five years later in 1999 when BTW's most popularstar, One Man Army, won his first Ascension battle royal and was well on hisway to becoming the most recognized man in the history of sportsentertainment. At the beginning of 1999,BTW's largest competitor, the UWA, closed its doors as it was bought out by thecompetition. With the purchase of itsrival company, Big Time Wrestling was the only major promotion left in theUS. It was in the Summer of '99 that anew competitor run by a former BTW staff member would open its doors. Over the course of the next decade, BTW andits new rival, the Extreme Wrestling Alliance (EWA), would be the leadingpromotions not only in the US, but in the entire world. Despite EWA's enormous growth in the tenyears since its inception, BTW has managed to keep hold of the top spot. However, with the EWA on the brink of goingglobal, many question if they'll be able to keep it heading into the newdecade. 2010 would be a solid year forthe company as it began to phase out some of the older stars in favor of somefresh faces. The rise of the likes of Vance Wildish, Cam Kaeden, Joe Smith, and other young workers has breathed some air into the lungs of the companyand has kept them clutching to their number one spot. Even now, with 2012 in its last quarter, BigTime Wrestling is the number one wrestling promotion in the world. The EWA, however, is still almost neck-and-neck with BTW.

Background: Debuting in 1992, RAGE gave BTW some much needed "oomph",helping to keep the company at the top for a few more years. In 1995, theybegan doing their events live as opposed to the old taping methods. This gamethem some more momentum, but by now, BTW was on its way down. Through the years, the show itself hasundergone lots of changes to its image. Currently, the set resembles the 2002-2009-ish SmackDown set, exceptinstead of blue, the colors are dark & lime-ish green. The current theme for the program is"Paradise City" by Guns N Roses.

I have an idea for a cult or regional company. The backstory would be of that of a lifelong wrestling fan who is also a big time music agent and mtv associate, after pulling some strings he ends up getting mtv to set up a promotion called Wrestling UNCENSORED. They would have there Show, Unrated on mtv with reruns on Mtv 2. The show would be based around brilliant video packeges and edgy matches. Crash tv at its best.

He is now reunited with his trainer in SWW, where they are making people respect the old school. He is renowned for his finisher, which is the only moves in his arsenal that is more modern. It is a German Suplex INTO the turnbuckle. Is is quite a dangerous move unless performed correctly. So far, Chester has avoided injuring anyone.

They have teamed together for their entire two year career and the 'big guy, little guy' team dynamic they have works well, with Tommy getting beaten around, only to get the hot tag to Johnny, who cleans house. Johnny is expected to break out as the bigger star in future years, but he himself denies that he'll leave his brother floundering...only time will tell.

Him and Jason Hawkins (Lucky Star) formed a tag team last year and begin to be noticed. Eventually, they met former adult actress Holly Williams, who convinced the two men to let her manage them. They changed their names and the Super Stars were born. He got Shooting Star from his finisher, the Shooting Star Press.

She gave birth to a baby girl last year via IVF, however, her mother took custody of the child claiming Holly was unfit to be a mother. After a messy legal battle, the court ruled in favour of Holly's mother, stating Holly's career instability and lack of a father figure as negative for the child. Holly, upset at her mother's betrayal, began looking for a more stable job and a partner. She found neither, however. Then she discovered wrestling. Six months later, she is a part of SWW managing the Super Stars. She went under the name Shining Star for a while, but then reverted to her adult name, Holly Wood and became a caricature of a porn star. She received a bit of backstage heat after a on-camera catfight with Ashley Valentine got out of hand, where Holly 'exposed' Ashley on camera. Holly previously mentioned she wouldn't mind getting with Shawn Waters or James Valentine in an interview, to which Ashley responded with a shot at Holly's past (It's no wonder she came to SWW...you get paid to get put on your back...it's an easy transition for her...). The two have since apologized, but there is still animosity.

BACKSTORY:

In 2005, MTV executive Tyler Rayburn sat in his home reflecting on his life.t' 29 year old had gotten into buisness back in his early 20's, securing a job in MTV at age 24. He quitly rose up t' ranks, while hiding t' job he really wanted, that of a wrestling promoter. But know as he reflects, he relizes that both MTV and t' main wrestling scene has been giving t' same old in his mind. Just like that and idea emerged.t' next day at a buisness meeting he picthed his idea, that of a MTV ran wrestling company. After two months of pitching t' idea went through. On November 13,2005 Wrestling Uncensored and MTV had a ppv event, wich featured hit bands and rappers, Along with t' Wrestling event, It Begins. t' first champion was decided in a 8 man tournament, Wich saw 8 independent Larry Zbyszkos try to win t' world title. In t' end, Murte Butcher, known for his masochist gimmick, won. Altough they had alittle trouble off t' tart, by t' middle of 2006 they rebounded quite nicley. Throught t' years they were known for bloody fueds, And contreversiol champions. By t' end of 2008 Uncensored was riding high. But then after major retirments of there top wrestlers, wich included Butcher, Negro Vampiro and current Color Commentater Erick Knight, they were shaken. after running out of ideas t' company was loosing its fan base for two years it slowed down and got t' point where MTV was gonna pull t' plug, but t' 2011 year started off great. with new stars debuting and unexpected twizts and turns, with th music aspect toned down, Uncensored mad it return to cult satus

Background: In December UNCENSORED aired there first show, UnRaTeD, Wich was basicly wrestling and Music Videos, at t' 11-12 timeslot. t' Show would flounder, until being pushed up to t' lat evening timeslot of 10-11. this would stay t' same untill 2010, where they moved to primtime but they went back to 10-11 shortly after. in 2011 they unvield a new set, instead of t' old ecw arena like set, they moved to a darker, wcw 2001 set, exept for t' colors were purple and black.

It is seen as a fad and is expected to die within the year, but Owen McCarthy is trying his hardest to prevent that. His first step was to step down as owner, putting 51% of the company up for sale. A mysterious man named Gregory Richards, head of JFCT brought the majority rights last month.
