The Red Reuben

This isn't really a pen and paper game, but it is a TABLETOP game, so I figure this is the best place to post about it. Has anyone else tried/discovered Dice Masters? There are currently sets for Marvel, D&D and Yu-Gi-Oh, with a DC set coming out sometime this month. The girlfriend and I have been playing a ton, and we're having a blast. Closest thing to HeroClix I have found without having to spend hundreds and hundreds just to have the best units. In Dice Masters, many of the best units are common/uncommon. Anyway, you try it?

I was going to vote for the Rising Tied as well. Recently went back to see what else they did. I mean, what a great debut album, and then... nothing.

Pokemon MMO... eh? Did some Googlin'. Is this something EWB should be getting on board with? In the middle of a Pokemon Blue Nuzlocke run. Holy crap, is it hard, and holy crap, is it fun. Currently only have Ivysaur, Sandslash, Pidgeotto and Raticate. Everyone else I've had (Caterpie, Zubat, Bellsprout) has been brutally killed.

I've taken some time off due to playing Ace Attorney, but next time I will most certainly be sticking to only using three Pokemon, methinks. Cloyster is a beast on this Ice team.

I might create teams of three for every type, and try and beat the Elite Four with them. Although a normal would be fun and ridiculous.

That would be a blast. I was contemplating a team of Castform/Ditto/Kecleon.

Caught a Kecleon and received my Castform yesterday, That could be fun.

Alanna and I are having NO TROUBLE with the mono-type team at all. It's almost too easy. After I beat the Elite Four with my ice team, I'm going to do something I used to do in my old games. A team of two or three. Everyone else becomes an HM Slave. I beat an old version of Pokemon Red with only an Alakazam and a Tentacruel, and it was a TON of fun. I've been thinking of other teams I could use (Delibird + Farfetch'd + ??) and have started to put ideas together. I also think Golem would be a lot of fun. I never did get to use Hitmonchan a ton, so that could be an option too. Golem & Hitmonchan would be kind of fun. Maybe a Tirtouga, maybe an Avalugg... so many options...! Alanna is contemplating trying to beat the Elite Four with a snake team of just Milotic, Steelix and Serperior.

Was it destroyed? Cracked? Was the game downloaded?

Some Great Big Sea is pretty uplifting at times. But yes, mental health care professional is the way to go.

Hopefully you have as much fun as I did. I'm thinking I may try and do other runthroughs as well. Monotype is excellent.

Just finished 2nd badge. Had a scare during Rock Badge battle as Snover refused to attack Geodude due to being too high of a level, but Shellder finished Nosepass off. As for Brawly's fighting types... no match for Delibird. I've got Hail, Blizzard, Fly and Power-Up Punch on him, and I'm really enjoying it. Delibird rules.

I jumped back in after Platinum, and I found it somewhat easy. Still some stuff to learn, but it's fun.

I'm hoping it will be more fun. Certainly harder at the very least.

Alanna and I are ready to begin tomorrow night. I've got my six level 1 Ice Pokemon, and she will soon have all six level 1 Electric Pokemon. We decided we would play is "set" mode, and also chose starters that would ensure we had a disadvantage against rival. (Mine will be fire, hers will be grass.) Super pumped to do this challenge.

Oh my Goodness. I better let my girlfriend know ASAP. That's her favourite Pokemon, and this just made it better. Wow.

How is your Poison team holding up? Care to share your team? I wanted to see how successful you were in using the worst type in the game.

Really happy you're having success with Hitmonchan. He was always one of my favourites.

To play, or to choose a team? I don't have a ton of time either. I'm playing sparingly.
