  1. I wasn't sure how to quote part of your earlier post directed at me, but anyways, that's cool. For the most part I would have figured it would take forever to add and delete feds especially when half the roster is missing (I was going to add Metro Pro Wrestling to my game, but 80% aren't in so I said screw it). I watch a few smaller feds and I'd like them in here, but realistically there are 100's so its tough to figure out which ones to put in once one gets deleted, so I figured it might help you a bit. As for that list you posted, I am fine not having any of them in the game. I never heard of 95% of them, and the one's I have, I likely used for BY2G. As for Ralphus, I liked when they used him in WCW, but I have never once thought of using him in the game. I do have a question though and I'm not sure on how a good solution would be for it. Almost everyone (including myself) likes to have the game as realistic as possible. Now here's my question- Is there any way to modify Spike TV's ratings show that TNA shows don't get 5.5 ratings when in reality they are getting closer to a 1? The only solution I could think of is maybe dropping them down to National, and even then they would still get higher ratings then a 1. Some would argue dropping them wouldn't work because they have shows outside the U.S. That is true, but I still don't see them popular enough to be given the Global rating. I know WWE isn't drawing close to 5.0 rating's either but they still have double or triple the audience for their shows and even their house shows. It's not something that needs to be fixed immediately I was just proposing it to see if someone could come up with ideas or if nothing else tell me to shut up. For the record, I do like TNA Wrestling, so I'm not hating on their product, but just trying to find a solution to make the game realistic.
  2. I have a suggestion others may disagree with, but here it goes. Why not just add/remove companies bi-annually or just once a year? If Bill has a backlog of 10 pages, I don't see a need to monthly suggest companies that need to be added and taken out. Do a cleaning a couple times a year at most would still keep it fresh and up to date, and allow time for Bill to get caught up. It would also cut down on pages on this thread saving time. On a side note, I am all for archiving the people you delete. I haven't looked at these stats yet, but I will try to help you out with some of those people. However, I would suggest (and it might take a while) you mention who you deleted just to let people know so they don't spend time looking for them. Thank you so much for all you do and the update. I've been waiting for a day since I was unexpectantly fired from my last game.
  3. I've never heard of that site, is it reliable? I'm not saying those stories aren't true, but (since I never heard of them) I've never heard them breaking news. At any rate, it says Sabin won't be leaving (if he even does) until August, so we still have time to see if that pans out.
  4. Let it be noted that I did not sign that. I also know how to spell sincerely. Sucks about Hector Garza too, since I watch CMLL now, I think that their cards aren't put together as well as AAA, but I think their match quality is much better. It seems though as soon as Galavision switched from AAA to CMLL, that AAA got a lot better. Thanks for keeping all the updates on the Mexican wrestling scene. On topic again, if it hasn't already been said, if Kamala is in the game (I never have used him in the current stats so I don't know), I would make him a non-worker. Various reports, including pwinsider and Jim Ross, have announced he had his foot amputated due to diabetes.
  5. Err well I'd suggest retaining the neck and shoulders But if you like it like that, JUST head shots, then it's fine, too Thanks. yeah I still have some tweaking to do. I might try some more later this week. Trying to find a good background to use because I'm getting tired of the old background.
  6. http://i1133.photobu...23ebf302663.png It wasn't a request but I thought I'd post it, and ask what your thoughts were on it. It's my second try. Just wanted some feedback. I know I shouldn't have used a full body shot, but I liked the picture, I plan on making more just head shots soon. Here's my first try at a head shot. Its Erik Watts. I used a background of an EWR graphic in the new November update. http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m591/jupiterhill/ErikWatts.jpg
  7. @jupiterhill You did a nice enough job of cutting the background out of the picture, IMHO, just got to work on the cutting to a specific size and scaling it. Thanks. I'll keep trying since practice makes perfect. Unless your Joe Hennig, then you'll never be perfect, you'll apparent;y always be McGillicutty.
  8. Probably was. I saw nobody else do the request and I just installed GIMP today so I was eager to try something. Also wasn't sure if he wanted a full body shot or just the face.
  9. here is the link for the Richochet photo. http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m591/jupiterhill/richochet.jpg It's my first attempt at a wrestling photo on GIMP so not up to par with veterans on here who do it.
  10. Ah, I stand corrected. You're right, I was seeing things and saw it as he won it. So yes Heyman won the lottery, Bischoff went to Heyman for help buying it. That does make sense, but I doubt Heyman would care to buy them. Especially if it helps Bischoff. Which does lead to the new question, why doesn't Heyman just buy the ECW name back and reopen it? Maybe I should just stop thinking and questioning out loud and start my own version of this scenario. If I do, I would need help with stats for the wrestlers though.
  11. Yes, after reviewing it again I see he did indeed win the lottery and bought them. Wait it says Bischoff won the lottery. "Bischoff went to a once hated enemy, who just happened to win a huge sum of money from a lottery weeks before" So how hoes Paul Heyman enter the picture? Why wouldn't Hogan help Bischoff try to buy WCW instead of giving money to Turner to buy a company which he already likely had more than enough money to buy? Which also leads me to ask, what channels are all these wrestling shows on? May be a small point, but Turner has no power at TNT or TBS anymore, so he needs to find a home for his shows. Same with TNA-ROH (which I'm wondering why they are based in Mexico), how do they have 3 shows, when realistically they can't get good enough ratings to compete on Monday nights right now? How did Dragon Gate get involved too? How did WCW survive until 2011 when the newest update was released? Or let me ask it a different way, what time frame is this set in? I'm fine with dead wrestlers being in their prime, I'm fine with Flair being 20 years past his prime is in here, same with Hogan, but how did you come up with their stats? Because seriously I'm just lost. Now, again, I just asking. I think you could make a very interesting scenario here, and some might be inclined to try it out, but you still have a lot of things to work out. Like others have said, I believe if these things were to happen A.) Turner would buy WCW, (wild tangent I'm running on but, who exactly does Bischoff buy WCW from? WWE? Turner?, NOW I"M REALLY LOST!) B.)If WWE sold rights to the WWF name, nobody would buy the Wildlife Fund (which is a nonprofit I believe, maybe not) just to use initials for a wrestling fed. I talk too much sometimes, bottom line is you asked for thoughts, some, like myself, have offered advice without being harsh. Just listen to the advice and tweak it some and report back. Some of us may even possibly be interested in helping you out in terms of making it better.
  12. Ha. I didn't even notice it this morning. I was too tired to notice anything, I just saw you posted, but didn't read it. I'll check it out later and let you know, it sounds good though. I might be off the computer a couple days, but when I check it out, I'll report back. I just want something so I don't have the current picture pack for a game where half the people aren't even in the game.
  13. I don't think its stupid. I think its an interesting idea. I like the backstory, but its a bit confusing. If it was to take place with these stats, then WWE would already own WCW. Plus not to sound mean, but NWA sold for 3 million dollars? C'mon. Like I said its interesting, but I would never play it since, a) I don't like using deceased wrestlers in scenarios unless they were still alive (i.e. I use Pillman in my 1991 scenario), and b) is everyone in their prime or what? I mean you mention that Flair wins his 17th title and Steamboat is the champ but you also say "Discussing how they could no longer compete, at least in a wrestling world of global companies, they decided to co run shows". So whats up with that. Again, not tc because I do like different ideas and scenarios but I would pass on this one. Also why does NWA: TNA-ROH have PWG PPV names? Also how does WCW NOT use the Superbrawl name for a PPV?
  14. Does anyone have a picture pack from 1991? I started playing the scenario and wanted to have some pics from that time frame. I can't find any on here through the search function.
  15. Lower the behaviour of the Young Bucks by 5-10 points. I disagree, just because the Young Bucks didn't stop to kiss Booker's ass doesn't mean they have a behaviour problem. Golddust is just siding with his friend, and RVD just had a bad expierence apparantly with The Young Bucks. If anything, I would change Booker T's attitude a bit, that is one massive ego. I'm sure the Hero & Castignoli didn't have their tryout match then run over to Jim Ross or Jerry Lawler and introduce themselves.
  16. Here's the source f4w online. http://www.f4wonline...ent/view/19872/ Delete Fabian El Gitano from the database. He was murdered yesterday.
  17. I might just be a Tony Schiavone fanboy here, but, his stats seem a bit low. I know he hasn't announced wrestling in a decade, and wasn't everyone's favorite, but his talent is at 60. I think that's a bit low. He still does sports on two Georgia radio stations, and does baseball games I believe. He should have a higher stats. In comparison, Sean Mooney has higher stats. Even Mongo is 3 points lower than him. Schiavone has a 60, the same as Larry Rivera. WTF? No Way is he on the same level. I suggest maybe a 65 or possible a 68. I think Dean Hill has higher stats as well, which in my opinion is a crime. Most would argue he was fed lines and was pretty much a parrot in repeating them, but if that was the case, then why does Michael Cole have a 75 when he does the same thing? Same goes with Mike Tenay who has a 79 I think. I give Tenay some credit though because at one time (not sure if he still does) he actually studied the sport. Scott Hudson also has higher stats, as does Scott Stanford, Max Bretos, and Johnathon Grisham. I'm just sayin. While on the subject, I think he also should have a lower pay. His pay is in the range of 45 grand. Most compared to his talent would get at most 23-28 grand (which is still too much).
  18. Since there is time to worry about this next month (TE debuts in April), may I suggest what I did earlier. Just make FCW its own federation. that way you can put their own show on Bright House, and then make Tough Enough the developmental. I know it wouldn't be televised, but it would be a suggestion. As for special guests, I wouldn't want them on there. I understand having Snooki and the Jersey Shore folks, despite not really wanting them, but they are being used more than just one time. If you did include special guest though, how about Jeremy Piven, wasn't he in a match too?
  19. So I've been away for a few days but asked for some help on WLW stats on their message board, and I might be able to get some. So would you guys like them or not? I'm only asking because I don't want people wasting their time if WLW gets deleted anyways. I may ask for it anyways, so I can use them in my stats. In an unrelated note, with talk of federations being added and deleted, is their any way to keep up to date stats for federations not included? Maybe creating a seperate thread for that. That way it would be easier for people to add their own feds if they want to. I am a bit intrigued in adding PWO in my game, but wouldn't know anything about their stats besides what is on their website. I guess what I'm asking is sort of like a "regional reporter" type thing where people could keep us up to date on smaller federations. That way, we could have a couple slots open without adding more federations. I was just thinking of ideas. Also how do you do special apperances in smaller federations? One shot deals pop up and wondered if they were included in the game. I'm only asking because next weekend Road Dogg and Billy Gunn will be at a WLW show. If they don't have 3 federations, maybe add them to WLW. I doubt they stick around for more than a couple shows, but who knows.
  20. As far as PWO goes, I understand the logic not including them because of workrate. After reading that post, I agree that their matches aren't the most impressive, and I don't watch it much these days (except if I know Portia Perez is on, she's awesome). The main factor would come down to how big they are versus other feds. It would be a bit pointless to include them when Gargano and M-Dogg both work for higher feds and be in their top three anyways. I was only making it an option. As for Feller, I think right now your right, just drop a couple and have those spots open. We then could focus on who to add and gradually help update those. After playing 5 months in the newest data, I think 12 feds have gone bankrupt, so I could understand opening up some space. On the flipside, we could just keep them in until we get it sorted on who to add, then just replace them. Either way its all good.
  21. WLW stars Brian Breaker (who I don't think is in the game) and Trevor Murdock will be on tour with Pro Wrestling NOAH March 12-27th. So I guess they could be added to NOAH also. http://www.noah-usa.cc/news%20page%202011.html
  22. I mentioned Pro Wrestling Ohio earlier and here is some information. Their website is www.pwowrestling.com The channel they are on is Sports Time Ohio (which would be a regional sports network). Their wrestlers are: Jason Bane Brian Bender Bobby Beverly Mr. Brinks M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross Pedro DeLuca Luis Diamante "Omega" Aaron Draven Facade (Michael Facade) Marion Fontaine Ben Fruith Johnny Gargano Jason Gory Hobo Joe Matthew Justice Flip Kendrick Krimson Kirst Gregory Iron Louis Lyndon Agent Aaron Maguire "Amazing" N8 Mattson Isaac Montana Portia Perez Raven Bobby Shields Vic Travagliante Nicki Valentino Corey Winters Shiima Xion Announcer Joe Drombrowski Referees: Tom Dunn and Isaac Noonan Tag Teams include: The Sons Of Michigan (Ben Fruith, Benjamin Boone, and N8 Mattson) The Homeless Handicapped Connection (Hobo Joe and Gregory Iron) Champions are: Heavyweight Champ- Johnny Gargano Tag Team Champs- The Homeless Handicapped Connection I'm not sure who all is in the game already, I know quite a few are. The problem is that I think most have three federations already. I've seen a lot wrestle, but some have never seen. There are pictures on their website if someone wanted to figure out stats for them, as I'm not too good at that. Like I said before, I don't care if they are added, I was just presenting it as an option since they do have a weekly televised show (according to their website, to 4.5 million homes) and have legends stop in quite often (Raven is on the roster and Greg Valentine has worked with them recently). They just announced they will be broadcasting old and new episodes online soon in addition to their STO show. So if they are added maybe add a second show, or don't.
  23. I agree about ISW, it always seemed like one of the made up federations for a while. Maybe if its not too much trouble to Bill, maybe start replacing some of these federations 1 by 1 each month. I hear there's a mile long list of replacement federations so we would always have replacements. I suggest only changing one at a time though since I'm sure it tough enough for Bill to do the monthly updates as well as the busy season coming up (Wrestlemania, WWE draft, spring firings). So far it looks like these could be replaced: Wrestlelicious ISW WLW not sure beyond that, maybe thats good enough.
  24. I guess since I am the only one really fighting for WLW, I'll give. I can always add them myself. I did a bit of digging, and to be honest, it might be too much effort to update them. Some things that need to be changed that I know of include: They have no TV contract Trevor Murdoch is WLW Champ Amy Hennig I think is Ladies Champ (not 100% sure) U-Gene no longer works there Daniel Cross no longer works there Wade Chism no longer works there... So maybe once they run a few shows, I could update some details if someone wanted to add them back at a later date. As for replacements, I'm not sure. I was a bit curious why Pro Wrestling Ohio wasn't included. They have a TV show on Fox Sports Ohio (or one of those regional sports channels, I get it on DirecTV). They have wrestlers such as M-Dogg 20, Johnny Gargano, Shima Xion, Portia Perez, Gregory Iron, and more which are already in the game. They have had guest apperances in the past year by Virgil, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and Raven. It's just a suggestion, and I could provide more information if people wanted me to. I also don't see a point in 3 All-Women's federations. I know I don't use them, but it was always odd since all 3 have most of the same wrestlers. I could see taking making two of them out, as you could just edit the one that stays to your liking, that would allow some new federations. Another suggestion is that since on the game, unless you play as WWE, they always cut most of the Florida roster anyways. Why not just make Florida their own federation, then WWE could raid them when they wanted (which is what happens now)? They have a TV show in place, so to me it makes sense. Just a suggestion though.
