TEW05 Real World Update: May 2014

Better late than never? Here's hoping. Being late with these updates has almost become tradition anyway. Quite a few updates, going to start (hopefully) keeping track of every edit made, but below is a smaller list of things off the top of my head.

The usual popularity and contract edits for the WWE and TNA roster are there. And I'm still in the process of editing every worker, in terms of who is active and basic data. It's a horrendously long process (due to 4,000+ workers). Also in the process of removing non-important relationships. 7,000+ total records really slows down the games loading time.

Again, any feedback is good feedback. And as always I check the other two threads for most of the updates, but if there is something 05 specific that you would like to see added, changed, removed, etc, feel free to post. Always trying to make this data as complete and detailed as possible.

Promotion Notes

- Held off on NXT becoming a brand split, mainly due to the fact that if you chose to play as the WWE, you would be booking 5 shows a week.

- Triple H has been switched to head booker of WWE.

- IGF has been removed as a promotion. They are using very few wrestlers compared to what they have in the past, going for more traditional shoot fighters and crossover MMA fighters. One other promotion was removed, but I can't honestly for the life of me remember which one it was. Obviously minor.

- Osaka Pro has been slightly edited. According to WrestlingData, Black Buffalo is the main owner of the company, with Super Delfin still being involved. So Delfin has been moved to the head booker role, Buffalo to owner. OPW Booker has been removed from the data.

- ROH now has a deal with UStream, and once it's revealed who they are officially in business with on traditional PPV, those deals will be added as well.

Worker Notes

- A few added workers this month include TNA's Crazzy Steve and Dragon Gates La Flamita. There are a few others in there, don't quite remember.

- Sting is currently on the WWE roster, under an Exclusive-PPA deal.

- KENTA is currently set to "on hiatus", until his future becomes clear. It's obvious he won't be competing in the near future until these plans are revealed.

- Prince Devitt has been removed from New Japan, as well as from the rest of his in game contracts, due to his future also being unknown.

Still about Alexa Bliss. Bliss made a TV debut earlier. Probably her Flying skills (Aerial and Flashiness) could be C+, her finisher is 450 Splash. Give C- for her Mat and Chain. That's what I think about her. And again, there's no pressure for you to put her on game.

Again, still behind on NXT. So I don't know if I'll get around to adding Louis. Haven't seen him work, couldn't provide proper stats. And there is already a team between Jordan and Dillinger in the DB.

Devitt will be added. I'm not going to bother waiting until he actually reports, considering most people will just want to have access to him right off the bat.

Renee Young will stay exclusive to WWE, since she appears on both shows, the main roster takes priority.

And I'm still tinkering with the brand split idea.

Edit: Alexa Bliss will be on the next update, finally got around to watching her two NXT matches (at least her first two).

And is anyone familiar with JT Dunn and David Starr? Really wanting to add the two, as they are highly booked as of late, but I've never personally seen them.

Try to watch Marcus Louis wrestle with Sylvester LeFort vs El Local and Kalisto the same day the NXT held the Battle Royal, that match is on youtube. He's pretty stiff and not so good at Mic, but I think we can give him B or B+ for athleticism.

Change Clayton Jack name in NXT to Cal Bishop.

I'm thinking about adding a WWE Network to the game, but I don't know as a PPV Carriers or a TV Network.

Talking about Renee, shouldn't we raise her popularity? The popularity is actually matter when we do an interview angle.

I think we should raise Tyler Breeze's chain wrestling skills. Also, raise Rusev's flashiness.

New DB will be up June 3rd most likely. Gives me time to implement Payback's results, and fix up a few other things (mainly double checking Chikara, as it's been re-added)

Trying like hell to have it available this morning (June 6th). Ended up being called in to work on three consecutive nights off, so I've been working on it when possible.

Absolutely. Couldn't bring myself to release the update without it. The roster is a combination of both the roster seen on the IPPV, and the night before from the Wrestling is Fun show (until storylines become more clear and such). Watched both shows twice, live and the IPPV replay, so I felt confident adding guys like Nokken, Ashley Remmington (Dalton Castle), Jaka, Oleg, Juan Francisco, etc.

I'm just double checking a few things, making sure I didn't miss anything major, and I'll be uploading the DB this morning. Should be up in full by 9 AM EST. *Fingers crossed*
