  1. We are live everyone. Fingers crossed we don't run across another issue.
  2. Problem solved, as expected there was a very simple solution, and thanks to Mr. Adam Ryland himself we're good to go. Probably going to wait until after TLC (And S) on Sunday before releasing the DB, just in case something slightly significant happens.
  3. Small update, kind of...... Yet to find a solution, which makes me wonder if I'll have to re-install the game. However, in doing so, I would lose the data that apparently exists (although the file type isn't in the root folder as mentioned). So, if I can't find a solution, these updates are in danger of not returning anytime soon. Due to Rapidshare's issues dating back to this Summer, if I were to restart it would be from this past June's update. And as I've said, there were tons of changes in the wrestling world over these past six months. So fingers crossed I can figure out what the hell is going on, if not my only option is to restart from the June update once again, and I'm not sure how I feel about that option.
  4. Just letting everyone know that I'm aware of the situation and am working to get the issue resolved. Have no idea what went wrong this time out, as I've never had this specific issue before. The issue being, the DB works fine for me, promotions and wrestlers included. However, the files don't appear in the root folder (and aren't hidden). I imagine there is a very easy solution, but it escapes me at the moment. The second I figured this out the DB will be posted, as intended on December 1st. I've made a few others changes since then, but I'll release the update as is. Again, sorry for yet another issue with these releases. This one I'm legitimately surprised by, but hopefully the resolution is found soon.
  5. Updated: 12/15/14 Now truly back from the dead, it's finally time for another TEW05 update. While it's not as in-depth or thorough as I usually like an update to be, it's at a good relaunching point. The next few months will be big, as I continue to get this data back on track, and hopefully sooner rather than later. As far as promotion rosters went, 95% of my attention went to WWE and TNA. The main goal of the January update is the get each promotions rosters as close to accurate as possible. There are still certain workers missing from the data completely, most notably perhaps in ROH, but again this will be addressed and hopefully corrected for the January release. There's still a ton I want to do with this data. There are numerous promotions and workers I plan to add. Updating events, PPV providers and TV networks is long overdue. As well as trimming down worker relationships and tag teams in an effort to have the game run more smoothly, especially when starting a new game. Again, don't expect this to be perfect, it's far from it. But eventually I may just be able to reach my goal of an OCD level of perfection for this fun little game. As mentioned I plan on adding promotions. The main ones are Beyond Wrestling (long overdue), Smash Wrestling (long overdue) Insane Championship Wrestling (long overdue), Dreamwave Wrestling (Has grown tenfold since it was removed over a year ago), and joshi promotions such as REINA and Sendai Girls. 6. Took a lot longer than expected, but a December release is just about ready to go. Going to take a couple of months to get the database into what I consider good territory, as pretty much everything needs to be worked on (workers, TV stations, stables, etc). Look forward to getting this update out there and hopefully getting some solid feedback of what needs to be changed (which will be a lot).
  7. Still working on it, but I definitely underestimated just how much has changed since the last update. Doesn't help that I lost power for two days this past weekend, had both nights off from work, so I missed out on being able to get a large chunk of progress there. Overall, it's going alright. Hundreds of pics have been added to the data, so that took a while. But as for the data itself, a lot has changed for a lot of companies. Looking at WWE, something as simple as Swagger and Colter being heels needed to be changed. Hell, BNB was still listed as the IC Champ. So at this point, I'm regretting the November promise, simply because I wasn't expecting this process to take as long. Only makes me regret waiting so long for a certain jackass to get the data off of my hard drive (heard from him last week anything saying he couldn't get any more off of it, so why it took 4 months to tell me I'm not sure). I'm not going to rush the update out. If it takes until next month, or longer, so be it. I still have a standard for the updates, and want to make them worth playing. There are still companies I want to add, mainly Smash Wrestling, but the more I want to do, the longer it takes.
  8. Quick update Can't guarantee that the update will be ready today, unfortunately. A lot happened in the wrestling world between June and now. I also ended up making a lot of changes with the pic pack, but that too a lot longer than expected. However, the update will be out within the next few days, just can't guarantee today.
  9. One thing I could use, from anyone who downloaded the June update way back when, if you could upload that pic pack it would be a huge help. Data is coming along nicely, and November 1st is still looking good.
  10. Quick update, working on getting new data ready. Got tired of waiting for this guy, and I honestly wish I was joking in terms of this 4 month wait I've gone through to get everything off of my old hard drive. For this release, there may be mistakes, due to the fact that I've downloaded the June release, and I know for a fact I made a myriad of changes for what would have been the July update. So odds are some things are going to be overlooked, especially on the picture and logo side of things (mainly due to Rapidshare's bullshit). It may be a few days, or I might hold it off until November 1st just to really look at the data and make the wait worth while. Again, I apologize for the whole ordeal, but I look forward to being able to provide these data updates once again and on the proper monthly schedule.
  11. I can't commit to saying there will be a release this month, because the issue hasn't been resolved. The second I secure the contents of my previous hard drive, I'll work on the update and have it released ASAP. Had I known this would be an issue for this long, I would have simply bitten the bullet and downloaded a previous release and worked on it from there. So fingers crossed that there will be an update out this month, and I can get back to monthly release, but I can't currently say with certainty that it will happen. The guy doing the transfer does have a solid excuse for constantly being busy, working two jobs to support his family, so I'm not pressuring too much. But then again, it has been almost 4 months.
  12. Just another update guys, feel awful about dragging this on and on at this point. The friend, of a friend, is just fucking around at this point. Always "busy" when it comes to me either getting my hard drive back, or him finishing the transfer. So unfortunately I'm still unable to do anything. The second the issue is resolved, the very first thing I plan on doing is providing an update.
  13. Well finally the PC issue is getting sorted out. Considering it's so late in the month, I won't rush and update out, but I can promise a September release, hopefully within the first few days of the month.
  14. Once I'm able to upload once again, everything will primarily be on Mediafire, and probably Sendspace as a backup.
  15. Ok, so long story short, still working on getting everything off of my old hard drive. I'm having to rely on a friend, of a friend, rather than going through a local PC store, a Staples or even buying a converter myself. Also waiting for my new comp to arrive, still, so that's another hang up. There will probably be an update this month, basically it depends on when I get everything settled. I have an extra itch to play the game anyway, so I'll rush an update out ASAP. Thanks again to all for the understanding, and here's hoping my next post is the official August update.
  16. Sorry for the lack of updates. Not much has changed, not easy to randomly come up with a couple hundred dollars to spend. Hoping to be back for August.
  17. Edit: No guarantee on when the next update will be out. Had to send my computer in to be inspected, and it might not be able to be repaired what so ever.
  18. I thank you tremendously for those updates. Despite how great DG has been I only follow New Japan at the moment so it's hard to keep track of other companies. If you see anything else that needs work just let me know and I'll make sure to implement the changes. Everything you mentioned (other than the added workers) has been fixed.
  19. First off, MKPunk, just wanted to thank you for the info (having issues with quoting, so had to post here). Regarding the WWE released, the changes have been implemented. Good catch. It's happened more than once where I'll hit tab to skip around a profile page and go one too far. And the tag suggestions you made have been implemented. Despite frequently checking the tag teams, a few always managed to sneak by.
  20. The problem for me, is my upload speed isn't the greatest. But I will probably default to mediafire or sendspace. Although I seemingly have a quicker time uploading via Rapidshare than the other two. Edit: Because I've made changes to pic folders, I won't be uploading those again this month, but the data is available above through Sendspace and Mediafire for those having issues with Rapidshare.
  21. Less than a week late, I'm improving. Quite a few changes with this update, but unfortunately I lost the list of every little change. Notable changes though include Chikara once again being an active promotion. Many workers have been added for not only Chikara, but NXT as well (including Marcus Louis and Alexa Bliss). ROH now has their PPV deals. And in terms of possible WWE signings, Devitt is currently with NXT, however KENTA and Willie Mack are not (mainly due to the WON saying their could be hang ups). Thanks again to all who download and enjoy, it can certainly be a challenge to keep everything as up to date as possible, but knowing at least some people still enjoy 05 makes it almost worth the time Full: RAPIDSHARE Data: RAPIDSHARE - SENDSPACE - MEDIAFIRE Pic Pack: RAPIDSHARE New Pics: RAPIDSHARE Belts & Logos: RAPIDSHARE Previous databases hosted on EWWAREHOUSE along with other EWR and TEW databases. 22. Absolutely. Couldn't bring myself to release the update without it. The roster is a combination of both the roster seen on the IPPV, and the night before from the Wrestling is Fun show (until storylines become more clear and such). Watched both shows twice, live and the IPPV replay, so I felt confident adding guys like Nokken, Ashley Remmington (Dalton Castle), Jaka, Oleg, Juan Francisco, etc. I'm just double checking a few things, making sure I didn't miss anything major, and I'll be uploading the DB this morning. Should be up in full by 9 AM EST. *Fingers crossed*
  23. Trying like hell to have it available this morning (June 6th). Ended up being called in to work on three consecutive nights off, so I've been working on it when possible.
  24. New DB will be up June 3rd most likely. Gives me time to implement Payback's results, and fix up a few other things (mainly double checking Chikara, as it's been re-added)
