A very detailed 1998 database is almost complete. A 99 database will follow after it. So if you can tolerate waiting a week or two, you'll have the best DB ever completed for that era.

Haha, no shit man I feel your pain. I appreciated everything you and other DB makers did prior to taking on your series idea, and that respect has increased tenfold. As far as the 98 DB goes, I just made a post about it in the thread, I might actually have it handled.

Well, I've completed one of the two most difficult parts and that's simply having an accurate roster. Next comes promotion completion and stat edits. So as I stated previously, there is no shot of this being released in the next few days, but I'm aiming to have it released before TEW 2013 to capitalize on user's depression of not being able to afford the newest game.

You know what's funny is that I didn't even look at when the post was made, I just saw a response and figured it was a new post that got a little momentum behind it over night. If you have free time, you should definitely help me with the 98 DB lol.

I'm not one who cares for fantasy situations scenario's for the most part, but this does seem like a pretty good idea. I could help somewhat, but considering I'm doing the 98 DB at the moment, I won't be able to contribute much.

I decided to put 03 on the back burner and just continue the yearly trend that TheWho87 had started with 1997. I'm currently working on 98 and it should be released early next month. 99 sometime in January and so on. Things can change obviously, and doing these projects solo can be difficult.

Orton is one of the best on the microphone, he has a unique style and can be very intense, almost a modern version of Jake Roberts, I would take an Orton promo over Cena any day You should be ashamed of yourself..........

I wouldn't add the World Title to the promotion, but they definitely could be added. Why not, if it is defended on their television program? Their show is just a taped program that they add big matches to so that people watch. NWA On Fire is local to me, and is not a big enough promotion to be labeled as the big company representing the NWA, even in a video game. I think it is the most sensible solution, since their television program is the only one that represent all of the NWA, we add the promotion along with the top 5-10 NWA names (Kahagas, Damien Wayne, Chance Prophet, etc). I would like to be able to play a promotion with the NWA belts, and I think that is the best way to do it. NWA has a promotion called NWA Pro, that runs in the southwest region of the US. That would make the most sense to be the host promotion for their World titles. NWA On Fire is a local promotion. Pro or maybe even Ring Warriors should get the nod, maybe even Fusion. I don't really care what is decided, I'm just saying (as someone who has gone to numerous On Fire shows over the last 4 years) that On Fire is a small promotion that shouldn't be labeled as the leader of the NWA if your looking for an accurate DB.

Just a small update. Odds are this won't be released at the end of the month. I'd doing my best to make this DB as close to perfect as possible before release. There might also be two versions of the data. One with more promotions than the other. For example, the more detailed version will probably feature smaller promotions like the Can-Am Wrestling Federation, even if a full roster can't be provided. This allows for a better chance of weaker talent being signed, based on my experiences with an up to date DB. Anyway, the rosters right now are looking pretty good. When it comes to those who have debuted within the year (I'll add anyone who debuted within the first few months of 1998 and start them "on hiatus" (Example: Justin Gabriel, debuted in Feb 1998. He'll be 17 and a pretty good prospect).

It appears as though Nick Rogers and Chase Donovan have been released from NXT. They are no longer listed on the roster page. Probably want to wait until confirmation. Also, Chikara's official Youtube responded to a comment on their "Under The Hood" IPPV Hype video. They confirmed that their IPPV will not be on Go Fight Live. So 1. Remove their PPV agreement with GFL. 2. Add Smartmark Video as a PPV Carrier and give Chikara a deal with them.

Not at the moment, but there will be pics for the majority of people on the data.
