House music is one of those things i've been in and out of. I love Electro (Le Castlevania, Designer Drugs, Wolfgang Gartner) and some Drum n Bass. Not a fan of Dubstep even though I had a little phase (Rusko is still badass though.) and Trance really is'nt my cup of tea.
If you like straight up house check out Grum, Sweedish House Mafia, anything off of the Ministry of Sound label, Axwell and Aviici

I hope to see The Strokes on this. Fantastic band with no bad albums, especially "Room on fire". "Angles" This year is on the top of my year end list...maybe.
-
Gotta go with "Broken" as my favorite song on the album.

Been a fan of this series since Soulblade/Souledge. Voldo, Nightmare/Seigfried and Rock were my top characters, I cannot wait for this.

I completely forgot that the movie was rated R when I went to see it, so when Mr. T started cutting people's throats it took me by surprise. I am very familiar with the musical (I was in a high school production of it way back in the day.) and it was actually a really good movie.
Mr T is in this movie?

This is full of win, thank you IDOL and the rest.
This may inspire me to attempt a return to the Dome.

Anthrax: Fistful of Metal is my favorite
Honorable Mentions:
-
I discovered music that I liked by myself, my friends, nor my family helped me out with that.
The first moment I decided I liked music a lot, was when I saw Rage Against the Machine's "Testify" video.
However my father used to kick the shit out of me because of themusic I liked, but that never infleuenced me either. Years later my intrest in musc has grown even more.

Looking for Brodie Lee, can anyone help?

I do not know if this has been discussed before but favorite albums and songs have been discussed. These are the albums that I can listen to from front to back without skipping ahead at all, basically my top 5 saved my life in a way.
10: Something's Gotta Give from Agnostic Front
9: Facelift from Alice in Chains
8: The Relationship of Command from At the Drive-In
7: Ritual De Lo Habitual from Jane's Addiction
6: Black Dots from Bad Brains
5: Rich Man's 8-Track Tape from Big Black
4: Daydream Nation from Sonic Youth
3: The Greatest Gift From Scratch Acid
2: Funhouse from Iggy Pop and The Stooges

Girlschool FTW
-
1. Savatage
2. Iron Maiden
3. Judas Priest
4. Black Sabbath
5. Dio
6. Blind Guardian
7. Gamma Ray
8. Iced Earth
9. Angel Dust
10. Chris Caffery
Top three are solid, but the others could be in any order. Especially the last two I could have easily replaced with any of Annihilator, Blaze, Saxon, Nightwish, Axxis, Testament or Pink Cream 69.
-
Just some more.
"One Step Beyond" by Madness
"We Got Soul" by The Big Boys
"Now She's Black" by Black Flag
"Wicked World" by Osaka Popstar
"D.A.R.K" by Balzac
"Forest Whitaker" by Brother Ali
"The Last Dragon" by Dwight David
-
"Original Fire" - by Chris Cornell
It's by Audioslave,of their last/third album Revelations, not Cornell.
(Unless you have a version of him doing it solo or whatever .)
It's from a live album recorded in Germany. Better than the Audioslave version IMO.
NVM then (Y) ... just theres a lot of ignorant people around when it comes to Cornell/Audioslave after he did the Bond theme. Though, to be honest, I don't care much for his solo stuff, sounds boring IMO. Anyway...
2011 in music.
