What bands are you ashamed of listening to but still rock out to?
Horse the Band: A Friend of mine got me into them, I am a sucker for keyboards and they are very keyboard driven. The whole "Nintendocore" scene fascinates me.
As I lay Dying: I was watching a Tyler Black tribute on Youtube and the song "Elegy" was the music. I really dig them for some reason.
Sevendust: Part of my childhood, I still listen to songs like "Bitch" and "Praise" every once in a while.

Anything from Faith No More that involves Chuck Taylor is great.
-
POD - Youth of the Nation
Awesome darkish riff, rap for the verse and reggaeish for the chorus. Awesome mix.
Velvet Revolver - Fall To Pieces
The whole song smells of Slash and GNR so much it's great.
Silent Drive - 4/16
Possibly the best song I've got for free (of 2) off last.fm. And all the better a week later it wasn't available.
Mercy Drive - Away
They've got so much more than the Orton's Burn In My Light
Metallica - Fuel
Best beginning/chorus ever?

"Jordan Minnisota" by Big Black was kind of scary.
-
Machine Head and Sepultura are all you need. Ever.

When I was 14 I heard my first Napalm Death Song.....needless to say I was a little creeped out.
-
"Hero" by Ministry
-
Municipal Waste
Blind Guardian
Danzig
Helllhammer
The haunted

Candy Apple Grey was their poppiest release, I agree with you though, Zen Arcade, New Day Rising, and Flip Your Wig are all very Hardcore based.....shit actual emo is founded from Hardcore bands.
-
AFI should never cover anything after they covered 'Jack The Ripper'. Adding a looong emo'y start to it and being whiny is quite irritating.
But I would like someone to come up with a good cover album for The Smiths, RHCP (as previously mentioned) or RATM.

Deltron 3030

If you like any irish influenced punk rock.......
btw, good to see another Jawbreaker fan in the house.

The Phenomenauts and Man? or Astroman?, good rockabilly bands with space themes.
Slough Feg is good too, they have major celtic folk influencein their music and they have two space themed albums.
-
Husker Du, jawbreaker, Fugazi, Screeching Weasel, Go Betty Go, The Mr. T Experience, Saves The Day.
-
Id like to see someone do some modern versions of Jesus Lizard, Big Black, and Bad Brains tracks.
-
Janes Addiction, Stone Temple Pilots, Sonic Youth.
-
Oh shit Rick Rude? The Ravishing One is going to dominate. Cena fears The Rude Awakening!
