  1. At first glance I really liked it, then I looked at it deeper and to be perfectly honest I hate it. Sorry to put it so bluntly, but I'll give you a detailed list of reasons why.

The first thing that jumps out at me is the text is very rough. The font doesn't fit with the feel of the graphic at all, it looks very jagged, and the location is terrible. The text looks like it's just floating there for no real reason.

The next thing I noticed was awkwardness of the left side. In the first look it was okay because it looked like some brushing over a stock, then after I looked more I could see where it was another stock blended over it. (By left side BTW I'm meaning everything to the left of the white glowing doorway.) The original stock has a distinct perspective to it, which is destroyed, by the "window?" that is blended in at the left edge.

Finally the glowing doorway, I like the overall effect here. The only problem I have is with the placement. I just feel like it needs to be set closer to the bottom and maybe a little more to the right.

And to close, why is the house picture of the second floor and up? It would have looked better if you included the bottom floor, or at least cut the roof of the porch off.

Sorry if you find that a little nit-picky, but I'm in a good mood tonight and thought it'd be helpful.

  2. My biggest problem with Mudvayne is that it seems like with each album they are becoming more and more mainstream. If you listen to that single and then go back and listen to something off LD 50, such as Death Blooms (which I think sounds pretty similar to Happy), it seems to have lost its edge. There is as Midget said missing the technical elements that I love about Mudvayne. The vocals seem to be flatter and much more produced. That said it's a good song and I'll definatly pick up the new album, but I miss the older style Mudvayne.

  3. Ah come on Spanktooth. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who hates the Steelers more than I do, but Heins Ward is one of the most talented recievers in the league and went out Sunday and gave everything he had in that game. I'll guarentee that you won't find a player in the game who works harder and/or wants it more than Ward. It's just a shame that he plays for Pittsburgh.

Why? He wouldn't have it any other way and neither would we? He's a perfect fit here.

As far as Vick/Manning goes I'll stick to my original argument that if given a choice I'd take Vick over Manning any day. The actually argument though, just compare the receivers.

  6. Much like so many others I wanna know who voted for this shit!?! As I said in my review of the movie Garden State was the best movie I've seen all year. Club Dread should not even be on the list, let alone in the top half! And I would love to know who voted Walking Tall that high.

  7. You can't seriously be still bitching about PI calls. The league changed the rules so that the Colts could beat the Pats and they still blew their chance twice this year. Like Tedy said on SportsCenter what rules are you going to bitch about this year, they can't play in the snow?

As for the Manning/Vick argument, I don't know (or care for that matter) if my post was one of the ones you were offended by, but all I said was Vick suits my style better. If I were a coach I'd gladly give the difference between Manning's passing ability and Vick's for Vick's running ability. Let's also not forget that this is Jim Mora's first year as a head coach, Atlanta's first year running a West Coast Offense and only Vick's second healthy year in the league. And where are they? Playing for the right to go to the Super Bowl. To say that Mike Vick doesn't make a difference for this team is asinine. Not only does Vick make plays on offense he makes his whole team better.

  8. My Steeler hating goes all the way back to the early 90s. I hate them because where I live it's all Steelers, Browns, and Bengals. And both my brother's are huge Steeler's fans, so I have to listen to them talk about Pittsburgh all the time. That being said 'Big Ben' and Ward rock.

  9. Indy losing made me happier than my Falcon's winning last night. Now if only Pittsburg would fucking lose!!

As far as Manning/Vick goes, there isn't a question in the world that Manning is a better passer than Vick. But if I were building a team without question I'd take Vick. Michael Vick can run and throw. He can throw off the run, as well. His ability to keep a play alive alone makes him more valuable than Manning. The only thing Vick needs to work on is trusting his recievers a little more and not taking the run quite as often.

Next week is looking to be great. Atlanta/Philly and New England/Pittsburgh.

  10. There are several things I don't like. First the Carbon Fiber doesn't look at all real. Second why is the BMW badge still on the hood, after-market hoods don't have them on there. The leftrear rim is very choppy. The left mirror is still silver. The door handles are silver, and why is the side marker light yellow/green? One more little thing, the underglow is poorly done.

Just so I'm not all negative...I love the color. I'm also very negative because that's one of my favorite cars.

  11. I like the first one better. The yellowish hue of the background is a nice blend to the color of the border and Edge. Where as the second one has more of a grayscale background. The only thing I don't like is that the cut of Edge just doesn't fit. I don't even know what to say to make it look better. Edge just doesn't look natural there.

  12. So Pepsi who wins you or Annie?

I used to play real money on PokerRoom all the time. I built my roll from $50 to $250 in just over a month playing 5+1 SnG's and rings. In the past few months though I've been playing in a lot of local tournies and home games. The most I've won in a live tourney is $150 for finishing third in a game with 100 people at a $10+5 buyin.

I'm definitaly up for a EWBWSOP as long as the buyin was under $10.

If I remember correctly she's played with Annie and they hit it off.
