  1. Like Gary has just said. Its a much better performance. Was a good strike from Cole, and a nice little Nutmeg flick on by Owen. Equalizer was unlucky, Terry tried hard, but he drew himself to the ball too much.
  2. GOALLLl!!!!! No one could stop that balloon
  3. I'm always jacked for England qualifyers. I also like to be optimistic, however, i got a bad feeling that the rumoured return of the diamond may make the game a boring 0-0/1-0 (our favour) game. The addition of Rooney however may make the game more explosive, as long as he doesn't linger around the midfield area and helps out Owen with the dreaded long balls, then we have a chance of scoring some goals. Also with no Beckham, i'm looking to see SWP get a game.
  4. Most of our chances yesterday came from Crouch setting up someone else. That makes him England attacking material. Yes admitly he had a good game yesterday, but his last International game he sucked and in the Premiership he hasnt done nothing worth the move from portsmouth and this is comming from a Liverpool supporter. But to counter your point, yes he set up some chances yesterday, does it make him automatic attacking material? In the eyes of some yes. But take a look back a couple of years. Heskey scored 2 goals and was plaguing the England Attack for ages, proving to be probably the worst attacker they've put up there in years.

  7. This isn't mine, but some very good friends of mines band, with a sample song from they're upcomming E.P Spudwinkles
  8. Nice to see some American Footy fans around here. England are something like 7 Goals behind Poland on Goal Difference so a dominant win against Northen Ireland is fucking needed. England still yet to play azerbaijan, Northen Ireland and Poland, and the last two times IIRC, that Poland and England have collided in a group winners deciding game, England have lost.
  9. What!? What good is Beckham going to honestly do sitting behind the 2 central midfielders. Its been said before, and it will be said a million times until Beckham stops wandering around the middle and left side - We need Beckham on the wing because all the balls our other Midfielders have been playing have been utterly shite. And playing Rooney up front alone is just idiotic. Everyone knows how much he likes to full back into the midfield and win the ball and charge up, and even if he has orders to linger up by the back 4 of Wales, he's not going to do it anyway, so its looking like we're not going to have a strike at all. But i do praise Sven for not putting James anywhere near the bench.
  10. "ECW ECW ECW" A lot of my friends went Reading. I sadly, couldnt afford 200 odd pounds for the weekend ticket, so i didnt bother. They say it was a good luagh and the bands were great, and nothing extreme like what happened at Leeds.
  11. Metal Gear Solid As a kid, it was so special, the storyline confused you and you felt really betrayed by the 'Master' when it turned out to be Liquid Snake. It had the best Graphics of its time too. Grand Theft Auto 3 Was so special when it came out. When someone first told me about the game i was nowhere near excited as i expected another run down 2D version of the game. Well i saw screenshots in a magazine and i was blown away. Nearly every PS2 owner in my school got this game for Christmas and it led to nearly the entire day of no school work and all chat about the missions, cars and other islands. It became a damn race as to who could get to the 2nd island first and was so fun comming in and telling friends about really cool missions. GTA 3 captured me more than others of the series, the storyline seemed so great back then, and although now it seems almost ridiculous as the guy you play as never speaks, it seemed so real. Still my favourite GTA of them all.
