I have some more I could use help identifying. Again, all I know is that they worked in the UK on some of the same shows as some of the cuts I made the last two days. Any help identifying them would be great.

  5. Thanks, I'll give that a try next time I have a big bunch of new cuts. I've just had no luck in the past so I just kind of gave up sharing my random or personal cuts like you do. And yeah, direct links works find. Adding code is as easy and copy and paste, paste, paste, paste, etc.

  6. I blame photobucket. It was just so much easier to share a couple of dozen cuts at once before Photobucket changed their interface. I cut 200+ images this weekend but there's no way I'm uploading them and copying and coding every link one by one to here.

  7. AJPW just seems super aggressive in general. Every game I start they seem to go crazy signing people to huge written deals. I'm playing as TNA and I'm locked in this ridiculous bidding war for 2 weeks over Sonjay Dutt of all people. My 4 year, near 7K a month offer with a huge signing bonus is only barely edging out AJPW's 6 year deal with PPV bonuses. All over Sonjay freaking Dutt. I've also noticed them locking up Dragon Kid, Brian Kendrick, and Davey Richards to long term written deals while this was happening.

I think its safe to say Hunico/Incognito has adopted the Sin Cara gimmick so I'd make him Sin Cara II for good. The real question is what to do with the original Mistico/Sin Cara since both identities have been taken by someone else and are owned by their respective companies. I think his WWE deal was supposed to be running out this week so maybe by the time February rolls around he'll have a new public name/identity to put him under.

If you're looking for Alliances the big ones I've found are of course the NWA (which is mostly small companies you don't have), the WWN one you listed, the World Triangle one with BJW/CZW/WXW, and the United Wrestling Network. That's the new one that Championship Wrestling From Hollywood quit the NWA to join. I'm not sure how many companies in it you have but a few of them are fairly notable.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Wrestling_Network

Changing all WWE wrestlers to Entertainers seems kind of drastic. I get the reasoning but I think there's still distinctions. When I watch as far as I can tell Daniel Bryan still wrestles a more technical/strong style game than some while Sin Cara still wrestles a lucha/CW style. Entertainer makes sense for some of them for sure but I think that's a bit too much building the universe around WWE. Those guys will probably be looking for a job outside WWE some day.

  8. ROH and TNA shouldnt have a non aggression, especially after the Kenny King situation

You could eliminate a lot of the USA working agreements imo, since the companies just have the shared workers all on PPA and none are nearly large enough to get them exclusively for a while.

While I agree with you I think the reason there are so many Working Agreements and Non Aggression Pacts in the database is to prevent the US companies from raiding each other right off the bat or signing up exclusive workers who are key to other companies. Just an attempt to compensate for the realism sacrifice. But that being said I'm not sure if its as big a deal since Cap C made the changes to TNA's overness making it smaller, WWE's roster size since it doesn't seem to go on a hiring spree at the start, and the general workers popularity.

  9. I think the easiest way to handle NWA is just to pick an affiliate and decide its NWA proper. If you want to make up a "NWA" promotion that works the same but I think its functionally the same thing as pegging Florida Underground as "NWA". For the personal database I'm working on I'm looking at centering the NWA around Branded Outlaw Wrestling which is owned by Bruce Tharpe who i believe is the current NWA president and the guy who is leading the NJPW contingent. So it just seems to make sense to me to set up his promotion as the home base. Plus it seems to feature Conway and Dane who for quite awhile at least had the NWA World and Tag Titles.

But I haven't done a ton of research or started really working on the NWA in my database so I don't know how hard it will be. Plus I'm working with TEW13 so its easier to add a wrestler with a generic set of skills.

  10. Thanks, guys. I actually meant something I could use to upload an archived folder all at once like the mod makers do, since it seems like the only sensible way I could share hundreds of images without losing my mind. I went and checked some of the sites they use and hopefully figured it out.

This should be 1000 or so logos of Companies, Dojos, TV Shows, and Events on black backgrounds. Assuming I did this right.

    http://www.mediafire.com/download/vuu9tqaaw9iwy5i/EventsLogosTV.zip

  11. I have my logos on black since I prefer that look. If someone can tell me the easiest way to upload a folder/zip/rar whatever I'd be happy to share it with you. I'm just kind of an idiot about how to share this stuff easily online, especially since photobucket went to crap.

  12. I/m happy to add celebs, who are the main requests to add?

Hmm. Well the main ones I was thinking of when I was suggesting this were some celebrities who recently appeared or had some connection to TNA since I'm setting up a TNA game to play where I want to kind of mirror the last 6 months of TNA but do my own twist on it so I'm looking to incorporate the same people they actually used. But also recent or notable WWE guests.

Adam "Pacman" Jones - NFL player who is a former TNA Tag Team Champion and recently made a one time appearance.

Robert Irvine - Celebrity chef who is married to Gail Kim and has made a couple of appearences in TNA videos online.

Phil Heath - Mr. Olympia who appeared with the Bro Mans at Bound For Glory and has said he is going to do some more with them.

Michael Strahan - Former NFLer, current host of Live with Kelly Ripa, who hosted RAW the other week.

Maria Menounos - Host of Entertainment Tonight who has recently a couple of Wrestlemania matches.

Another one that I have ideas of maybe using in a game even though she's never actually been in wrestling (so I could see people objecting to her inclusion at all).

Amy Schumer - Comic who used to date Dolph Ziggler. Like I said, she's never done anything in wrestling that I know of but she has that slight connection and has a sense of humor that actually makes it seem like she would do it if an opportunity came up.

There's others. I was thinking of asking if anyone wanted to help me with that supplementary celebrity mod we discussed and I was looking over a list of RAW Guest Hosts and celebrity appearances to include people like Mike Tyson, Hugh Jackman, Mr. T, Jenna Morasco, Johnny Fairplay, Snooki and Jwoww, Donald Trump and Mark Cuban (especially since they'd make interesting potential owners), and others. You actually have a few of them in the database already but if we wanted to do a bigger thing I think the list could really grow.

You're awesome as always and I in no way want to make this sound like I expect you to get this done, especially by the next update. Honestly, if someone who feels more comfortable creating workers wants to help me I'd be happy to help compile a list, cut pictures, and do relationships and stuff.

  13. Well I only suggested it be in this database because the whole idea came to me because I was specifically looking to add Pacman Jones to the TNA Tag Title History and Robert Irvine as Gail Kim's husband. So with those sort of people the argument for putting them in a database would be for the links to stay.

But you're right. If there's a celebrity mod out there that has a lot of these people I'd love to see it. And yeah, any kind of "supplementary" mod for expanded areas or worker types would be cool. Obviously that's a topic for someone else, as its not fair to ask that of Cpt Charisma but it would be a very cool thing. Its something I'd love to do if I had the skills, but making workers is the one thing I'm absolutely, 100% terrible at with my personal database and always cheat by importing them from other databases.

As I said, the only problem with "supplementary" mods would be the relationships, tag teams, or whatever. But the people that would apply to would be a really small number realistically if we're talking fringe stuff.

  14. This is a request/suggestion that is really out of the box but I thought about it when I was recently looking for a Pacman Jones to add to my database to complete the TNA Tag Title history and replicate his recent one shot return to TNA.

How do you feel about adding "Out of Business" celebrities who a user could bring in like WWE and TNA does? The first string of those I think would make sense would be people who have done little programs or wrestled matches like Maria Menounos or Pacman. But then even beyond that maybe the people who have done one shots like RAW guest hosts like Hugh Jackman or Michael Strahan. And than maybe even a step farther, the celebrities who are one degree removed from wrestling like Gail Kim's husband Robert Irvine who have never appeared in wrestling but could easily based on their connection.

In a lot of ways I think the "Out of Business" could really be used more than it is, not for people who leave the business entirely, but for these people who aren't in the business but who exist on the periphery or have a history in it. Its a big part of what wrestling is and has been for decades going back at least as far as Andy Kaufman. I think it could be something that could really enhance a real world mod.

I totally understand if its not something you want to do or don't have the time for, but its been on my mind lately so I thought I'd bring it up and see what you think.

  15. Why are Gina Carano, Jwoww and Snooki in this database?

If we want celebrities, maybe we should add someone that can really "wrestle". Maria Menounos for example has wrestled more matches than all the other celebrities and she did a pretty good job everytime she was in the ring.

Personally, I would delete Carano, Jwoww and Snooki.

And what about these AAA dancers? I don't follow AAA that much. Do they have a special role in AAA besides dancing? If not, I would delete them too.

Why? Its not like this is EWR where there's a finite number of spaces open for workers or a finite number of roles. Maria Menounos could be added and sit right alongside Snooki and JWoww (both of whom have made wrestling appearances in recent years so make some sense to be included). Personally I'm a huge fan of including these celebrities in the database in Out Of Business mode because it makes it very easy to use them if you decide you want to, just as WWE and TNA do routinely.

Same with bit workers like AAA Dancers. They may not have a lot of use as is (although I do things like use dancers or T-Shirt Cannon segments as commercial breaks to plot out my TV shows realistically) but they're there if you want to change that. Look at the WCW Nitro Girls. Stacy Keibler, Sharmell, and others all came out of there and were given different roles. Why not leave them in there so if a player (or the AI) decides they want to convert someone into a manager or wrestler or something its easily available?

  16. Damn you! I had just about managed to make my own tweaked version of your mod to meet my personal tastes. Now you announce you've adjusted the overness in a way that really appeals to me so I get to start over. Why must you constantly do awesome work that makes me want to try each month's mod anew instead of getting deep into a game? :)

In case you weren't sure, I'm joking. You're awesome and I can't wait to try out the Derek B inspired stuff and see how it plays.

  17. I don't know how you'd want to work Davis/Snow. Snow is a TNA agent who does work at OVW too while Davis is the OVW owner who now does some work in TNA. I figure with Davis you just give him open contracts with OVW and TNA and make him owner of OVW so he stays put. With Snow do you give him a written deal with TNA, a developmental deal with OVW, or two open contracts?

  18. Thank you for your hard work as always. You're a great, great asset to this community.

Ayumi Kurihara announced she'll be retiring August 4th. So I don't know if you want to set her to retired or wait until the August/September updates.

    http://shimmerwrestling.blogspot.com/2013/03/ayumi-kurihara-announces-retirement.html

Even though Allison Danger retired she said she's staying with SHIMMER. So I think you should re-add her to the company and put her back as booker.

    http://www.diva-dirt.com/2013/04/10/allison-danger-to-retire/

Jesse Sorenson says hes hopeful that he might he return to the ring by the end of the year. So I'd set him back to Active instead of Retired, since at the very least he doesn't seem to have closed to the book on his in-ring career.

    http://www.sescoops.com/jesse-sorensen-talks-about-his-neck-injury-when-hell-return-to-the-ring/80906

Natalya and Tyson Kidd will be married soon so they should be set to engaged at least.

    http://www.diva-dirt.com/2013/06/13/wwe-diva-engaged-celebrates-bachelorette-party-in-vegas/

Found some more doubles in the database:

    - Relampago and Relámpago

    - Octagoncito and Octagóncito I

    - Triton and Tritón

It looks like you made the same mistake I make when I import people in from one database to another. I get screwed on the accents. :)

Suicide in TNA should have a mask set for him.

It should be "Aces and Eights", not "Ace's and Eight's".

  19. Yeah, I always forget the differences between the games. Sorry about that. I really am talking about TEW13. I'm pretty sure both promotion sections are just merged into one in 13 and you just set them to active or inactive. Its great especially since you can link old title histories and alumni to the promotions and set a mandatory power structure so that the only people who could reopen ECW would be Paul Heyman or Stephanie McMahon or whoever you set.

But I'm pretty sure in TEW10 you could basically set that all up to and just import promotions from "active" to "future" easily. I know I used to import a lot of promotions from other databases including the Cornellverse and just wait to see what pops up. But like I said, I'm always confusing the different game versions so maybe I'm mixed up.

Yeah, I shouldn't have grouped everyone in I guess. It wasn't really a big deal the further back in the series you go. But in 13 especially there are so many things tied to wrestlers like title histories, alumni, awards, relationships, tribute shows. It just seems a shame to just delete someone or something you already have in the database when you could just as easily just change its status.

Some day I'll get around to creating the massive "99% Complete" database I fantasize about that has every wrestler, promotion, title history, alumni list, and whatever in it. And all those dead promotions and wrestlers will be necessary then. Someday in my dreams. :)

  20. It just doesn't make any sense to act now. All you mod updaters have a month to see what happens. If things are as unclear then as they are now then maybe you set it on hiatus or inactive or something but there doesn't seem to be any reason to rush to a conclusion about a company like Chikara who will go to great lengths for a story.

This reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask. Why remove companies and deceased wrestlers? Why not just leave them in since the games have options to represent dead wrestlers/promotions? If you delete a company its gone. If you just close it then it could be reopened by the user or open randomly during a game. Dead wrestlers are a little less useful but at least you retain the wrestler and his/her relationships if any user wants to do anything with it.

It just always seems strange to me that you guys go through so much hard and good work to create wrestlers, promotions, relationships, and everything and then you just delete it.
