Will be good to see what Lukaku can do out on loan, another former FM 'wonderkid'
-
So Fergie has said Carrick may start in defence against Everton... Great
-
Alou Diarra to west ham seems to be going through.
City are now being linked with De Rossi again
-
If I had to guess the only thing about Carroll that probably puts Rodgers off him is the medias obsession with his price tag, it gets tiring. He showed signs of coming good at the end of the season so if he stays I'm sure he'll get chances.
-
Yeah I have no idea why friendliest affect the rankings
-
As long as he doesn't score on the first Monday might football of the season I'll be happy!
-
Danny Graham was their top scorer last season I think and he's 6'1
-
Itay Schechter to Swansea, any one know any thing about him?
-
Love that Hibbert clip!
Good job his first goal didn't come in a proper match or Everton would have got fined for not controlling their fans lol
-
I think City are being sensible not splashing the cash indiscriminately like before, they have a very good squad and have a lot of deadwood they need to shift.
Ade, Santa Cruz, Bridge (I know they've loaned him out but I doubt Brighton are paying his full wage), and Michael Johnson are certs to go I imagine.
In terms of strengthening, I guess a CB that isn't Savic would be good for when the ACoN rolls round and Toure is unavailable as back up.
-
The midfield needs steel and some invention.
Our goals were almost exclusively created down the flanks last season, and it cost us in games where the wide players were stifled (Wigan with their wing backs), Kagawa may provide some of it but we could use another one just in case.

Yeah if I'm with a big club with a lot of scouts I send one to each region, they usually come back with a good spread of ages of players. In the more obscure regions they rarely come back with players above 2 stars but it's good to have your overall knowledge quite higher, means less stats are masked I think.

Still can't see this RVP to united deal happening.
Fergie has said he expects a big season from Hernandez so I assume he'll get games.
-
Even so, I'm sure he and Agger would be the preferred pairing as it is.
-
Wouldn't it make sense to avoid someone like Toure? I mean, the ACON is this year and would you really want to see Carragher and Coates playing side by side for four weeks?
This might be the reason why City would like a good centre back that will be available over the winter period... but I'm not sure if they'd get rid of Toure fully. Agger for money and Toure loan?
What's wrong with Skrtel?
-
We haven't been linked with Adam Johnson, despite a being linked with a shed load of other wingers we don't need!
Liverpool should ask for 20m and Kolo for Agger, it would save them having to scrabble around for a replacement or worse yet play Carragher, I assume Coates won't be ready for the start of the season.
Simon Kjaer is apparently available for 10m, he looked as impressive as Agger at the Euros.
-
What happened to the Scott Sinclair to City story? That died as quick as it started. Not sure why they would want him with Adam Johnson sitting on his hands is beyond me.
-
Hope he gets well soon!
Ihearing that anecdote about the reporter is making me look forward to the order soccer Saturday of the new season
-
12m for Fletcher is more than he's worth but Wolves don't want to or need to sell him so the price is bound to be bloated.
Mark Davies is a good player, not surprised to see Swansea interested, he's very accomplished on the ball. I guess Bolton will have Holden back this season too?
-
His options seem limited, just thinking he might see out his final year and see how it goes.
I can't see us stumping up the silly money Arsenal seem to want for him, and City and Juventus seem to have ruled themselves out.

I'm looking forward to seeing this, hopefully the best gags weren't all in the trailer

I could never see it translating well to an American audience because it's so fundamentally British it doesn't translate that well.
Saying that I thought the same about Shameless and I enjoyed the American version of that.

Probably slightly behind the times but I really like Tribes' album, I think it's called 'Baby'
-
Yeah, maybe RVP will change his mind

Reckon that means Liverpool will be getting rid of a midfielder, they have quite a lot of them
