  1. Diego Forlan is a good player, from living in Espana and England the football is quicker in the England League so maybe La Liga suits him more. He played well for Villareal this year and scored many goals which is why he won the Golden Boot Award. He is one of  reasons they in Champion League

I'd go as far to say he is the reason they are in the Champions League.

  2. Lampard won't be sold. Not a chance.

Well, besides being linked with Trezeguet, we have been linked with Shaun-Wright Phillips. I wouldn't mind seeing him at Chelsea, but not at the expense of Cole, Duff or Robben. Which prolly means he won't come.

  3. Just some ideas:

You need more interactivity in your site. Try having the links change color during a rollover and during a hit.

Most of your pages have too much text on one page. Try to reduce the text. Or split the content into different pages. As a rule of thumb, try not to let the page scroll beyond 2 times of a full browser window.

Ever tried frames? You could put the title banner on one frame, navigation in another and content in one. Some people don't like to design websites with frames, so it's up to one's preferences.

Personally, I tend to avoid using tables with visible borders. Tables, without borders, are good for laying out content, but too many tables with borders just makes it too 'rigid'.

And use css. It makes 'freshening up' your website(s) so much easier.

  4. Blues sign Del Horno

Chelsea have completed the signing of Athletic Bilbao defender Asier del Horno for around £8 million.

The Spanish left back has been earmarked by Blues boss Jose Mourinho for some time, but the deal has been something of a stop-starter.

The 24-year-old has signed a three-year deal, starting from July 1, after the two clubs finally came to a suitable arrangement.

Bilbao president Fernando Lamikitz has been insisting that they will not let Del Horno go on the cheap, and the €12 million deal has persuaded them to do business.

"Asier is an outstanding international player who will add quality to the squad in a position we needed to strengthen," Mourinho told the club website.

"I'm sure he will be a key player as Chelsea continues with its goal to achieve greater success both in England and in the Champions League."

The Portuguese coach had identified left back as an area that needed strengthening after having to play William Gallas in a makeshift role last season.

Blues chief executive Peter Kenyon was equally thrilled to have lured Del Horno to Stamford Bridge.

"Jose identified his target to fill the left-back position and we're delighted that Asier has chosen to come to Chelsea.

"The arrival of Asier signifies Chelsea's desire to strengthen the squad in key positions following a hugely successful season and we all look forward to seeing Asier in the blue of Chelsea in July."

  5. Owen has been linked with a move back to England via Manchester United according to Skysports.

I think Owen will leave, since Luxemburgo is determined to bring in Robinho. But I don't think he will move to Utd. Liverpool or Newcastle seem more possible to me.

  6. Went ip to 13th and dropped to 15th with Gainsborough in Conference North. 5 matches unbeaten, 3 won, 2 drawn. Out of 19 players in first team sqaud, 13 are superb, 3 very poor, the rest good or oka

    I have some questions.

1.If I position players according to what I think is best in tactics area, can I tell them to go forward or move sideways, like, can I draw arrows or something?

    2. How do I change the type of media comments released.

Oh, on EWB, some diaries like Supergrass's and TheReilDeiL's had created footballers. How can I create my opwn footballers? Is there an editor or patch?

  7. We have been linked with another striker, Nihat from Real Sociedad, according to Skysports.com

And Del Horno's agent insists that he is coming to Stamford Bridge, amidst reports that we are tying up a deal for Kaladze. Whch could mean: a)We will have 3 left backs next season b)Gallas/Bridge will be sold c)One of them is not coming to Chelsea after all.

  8. My hopes of a treble were dashed by South-fucking-hampton. It's not the loss that makes me mad, it's the manner that I lost.

Southampton had 3 shots all game, and all of them went in. I had 21. only 1 hit the back of the net. Niemi was superman, while Drogba was shit.

And I've got crucial games against Man Utd and Arsenal coming up that could decide the title. Whilst their players are on superb morale, mine is ranging from okay to very good after that loss.

I'm still mad about the loss, and I have the urge to fine every single player 2 weeks wages for poor performance.

  9. We have been linked with Fernando Torres again. So, our possible targets for a striker are now: Adriano (my preferred choice), Benni McCarthy(still the most likely,IMO), Alberto Gilardino and now Torres.

And Manchester Utd's interest in Park Ji-Sung seems to be gaining some momentum.

  10. So, I'm supposed to do an essay on the design and aestheics of a website as part of my coursework. It's supposed to be 2000 words long, so I'll need a website that has many pages.

Can you guys recommend some websites that you think has a great design? I would prefer a Flash site, but as long as it has good aesthetic value, it'll be alright. (Y)

  11. Manchester United and Valencia has been linked with Real Zaragoza's hot prospect, David Villa, according to Skysports.

The last thing Man Utd need right now is a striker, so I don't see why they are interested. Zaragoza want 12 million euros for him, quite cheap I must say, for such a bright talent.

  12. Van Der Sar is a reliable keeper, even though he's in his thirties, and he'll fare better than Roy Carroll and Ricardo, that's for sure.

You guys have been linked with Park Ji-Sung of PSV, he's a good player, with tremendous workrate, but I have doubts over whether he can adapt to English football.
