What's last.fm?
-
Pink Cream 69, check out their album Sonic Dynamite.
Also, Axxis. Back to the Kingdom is full of awesome catchy tunes.
-
Excellent band, one of my favourites. And along with Slayer and Annihilator, the best thrash metal band ever.
I'm more into the Skolnick era of Testament, so I especially like the first five albums. And of course the new one.
-
Since you like Van Halen, try Quiet Riot.
-
Never heard.
They look like they have lots of angst.
-
Quiet Riot.
For a brief moment they were the most awesome metal band in the world. "Metal Health" is still a classic album.
-
Savatage performing the Chance live, which is quite a feat in itself with all the counterpoint vocals and all.
-
I was just listening to A Tyranny of Souls this morning.
Good shit.
-
Never heard.
Isn't Leon a town in Spain or something?

From whole albums, I only ever heard Smash. It's catchy and fun. And from what I've heard on the radio / videos on telly, Offspring are fun. Again, not my type of music, but I'd easily pick them over the Deftones and Muse. By far the best of the MTV-type pop-punk bands.
-
Playing full CD's. Right now it's Savatage's Hall of the Mountain King. Currently playing 'Legions'.

Don't know much about this band, aside from a random video or two I've seen on telly I didn't especially like. They came out around the time nu-metal was getting big, so I was instantly turned off by them.
Anyway, I think I'm neutral, slightly leaning on the negative side. Never really cared about this kind of music.
EDIT: WTF. I was talking about the Deftones. I didn't know you're going to post another band right up.
Muse, I don't mind at all. I had this one album from a friend of mine who likes them. It was quite good. Could possibly listen to them a bit more. But, honestly, it's not really my type of music, so in the end I wouldn't buy an album. I wouldn't want to listen to Muse THAT much to justify it - I don't know if an album of theirs could stand re-listens. At least not on my stereos. There's too much awesome stuff I keep lining up for my player, and never have enough time to play all.

Pics if she's hot.
Suggest ear phones, then go search for porn on the entire rest of the internet.
I don't know much about earphones, but you need to lighten up.

Okay, maybe with the Savatage one I was going too much in the direction of 'epic' and not towards 'distinguishable riff'.
(crap quality live footage, but there's no promo video for the song)But here's a good one -

"Morphine Child" by Savatage

If I had an 11th I would have included The Smiths.
If I had 721 votes, so would I.

I don't have a wishlist. I just get what I want if I feel the urge to get it. There's a bunch of record stores nearby, and if I can't find what I want there, I can always order online.
A few years ago when I was still in college I did make wishlists, but that was because I was always broke. When I did happen to get money I immediately got a CD or two before I spent it all on booze. Or food. Or books, can you imagine.

1. Savatage
2. Iron Maiden
3. Judas Priest
4. Blind Guardian
5. Dio
6. Iced Earth
7. Helloween
8. Black Sabbath
9. Gamma Ray
10. Angel Dust

Upbeat power metal should do the trick. Try:
"Future World" by Helloween
"Young Souls" by Axxis
"Hunting High and Low" by Stratovarius
"Wanderlust" by Nightwish
-
Classic, melodic, speed, thrash, power, glam, progressive, 70's hard rock and a bit of extreme when in the mood.
-
I think you'd like Dio's Holy Diver.
-
Iron Maiden - Visions of the Beast
Nightwish - End of an Era
Judas Priest - Live in London
Bruce Dickinson Anthology
All really nice for fans.
Bonus discs with CDs:
Nevermore - Enemies of Reality
Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death
Testament - Formation of Damnation
Saxon - The Inner Sanctum
Judas Priest - Angel of Retribution
Spinefarm Hardcovers
Don't really watch them that often. But still like having bonus discs when available.

But it only works with an ipod, that's lame. No use for me.
