  1. Awesome dude, thanks!

Hate to be picky, but if possible could it be slightly bigger? Like closer to the size of the one in the original post? If that's too much of a pain to do don't worry about it. i appreciate it.

  2. Hi graphics experts,

I would appreciate a sig picture for a WWF 1996 diary I am starting. In searching the board, I actually found this from an older thread and quite like the design..

    WWF1996SIG.gif

Something like that would be great, keeping that yellow/blue 90s WWF logo, but with the text reading "Hulk STILL rules" in red/yellow font.

I like the black and white pics of the wrestlers and I would like pics of the following wrestlers in a similar format if possible, from left to right: Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Vader, Steve Austin.

    Thanks.

  3. I'd love it if VR hires the SAVAGE ANIMAL to front the band.

I never liked Weiland. I think his songwriting is terrible for the most part and his voice is just blah. His only redeeming quality is his live show, but even with that, he stole all his moves and style from guys like Mick Jagger and Iggy Pop.

  4. I can shamefully admit I hadn't listened to any Buckley stuff in a while before that kid on American Idol sang "Hallelujah" a couple of weeks ago. That got me back into him though and I've been listening to his stuff a lot since then.

"Last Goodbye" is such an amazing song. I get goosebumps when he hits those high notes near the end.

  5. Slash is one of the most respected guitarists in the world among his peers, he's got to be doing something right.

Buckethead has better guitar playing skills then Slash, but then again, there's probably 100 guitarists out there with better "skills" than Buckethead that nobody has ever heard of.

I don't always think being the more technically proficient guitarists makes you the better player or the better fit for a band (and certainly not a better fit for Guns N' Roses, as most of Buckethead's solos in the new GNR were crap).

Slash is a legend because he's written and recorded some of the best and most memorable riffs and solos of all time.

  6. It's all a matter of opinion I suppose. Juno served it's purpose as this year's cute, quirky indie comedy, but there's no way in hell it's a better film than American Gangster. Although now that I think about it, I'm actually more upset that Michael Clayton got the nod because that movie bored the piss out of me.

It doesn't really matter in the end, because There Will Be Blood was the best film of the year and of this decade, and should win, but I'd have still liked to see American Gangster and Sweeney Todd get nominated.

  7. Not that Juno is a bad movie, but the Academy is getting fucking retarded with their little token indie nod for best picture. Juno is this year's Little Miss Sunshine - cute movie, everyone likes it, but one of the top five of the year? To nominate that over something like AMERICAN FUCKING GANGSTER? Complete idiocy.

I don't get the love for Michael Clayton either. I'd have rather seen Sweeney Todd get the nom over it.

  8. Here's some music I'm looking forward to being released in the new year. No specific order..

    - Full-length debut album from Black Kids

    - New T.I. album

    - Nas: Nigger

    - The Mars Volta: The Bedlam In Goliath

    - Lil Wayne: Tha Carter III

    - The Black Crowes: War Paint

    - New Nine Inch Nails.. Year Zero 2?

    - New Franz Ferdinand

    - Ryan Adams: 20/20 box set with all of his "lost" albums, plus new solo album and new album with The Cardinals.

    - Casual interest in the new Metallica and U2 albums even though I'm not expecting much.

    - New Gnarles Barkley album

    - New Eminem album

    - Possible new album by The Raconteurs?

    - New Michael Jackson album??

Oh and of course.. CHINESE DEMOCRACY!

  9. The NFL won't ban him for life, but he'll never take another snap in the league again. There is not one owner or GM in the league that would be willing to take on the unbelievable amount of public scrutiny that would come with bringing Vick onto their team.

No, not even the Oakland Raiders would.

  10. ESPN has a little Q&A thing up with Lester Munson. Here's the worst part of what I found.

If the dogs failed the test, the indictment charges, they were executed by hanging or drowning. In one case, with Vick present, the indictment says a dog was slammed to the ground until it was dead. In another incident, a dog was soaked with a hose and then electrocuted. Those aren't the sort of transgressions that lead to probation and community service. It's the kind of behavior that results in punishment, and the punishment will be jail time.

  11. RAW:

    - Opening segment was fun, I'm looking forward to a 'Taker-HHH feud, also interested to see how you book HHH, this was really the time period where he kicked the "Ric Flair-lite" stuff into high gear, which is something I kind of hated.

    - That hardcore title match was everything I hated about the WWF's "hardcore title" era all rolled up into one. Interesting enough though to see all those ECW guys coming after poor little Maven's title - could be an interesting thing to see Maven, who's not exactly known as the most hardcore guy in the world, trying to avoid losing his strap to all these "masters" of extreme wrestling.

    - Steph and Vince stuff.. all I ask is no incest.. please..and if you do go that route, please make Linda McMahon a major character in it.... errr... forget I said that..

    - Ouch.. tough draw for Stevie, he never really had a chance.

    - That fucking bastard X-Pac, stealing people's coffee. NOW I KNOW WHY I HATED HIM! nWo segment was cool and I'm glad you kept Waltman's mic time to a minimum.. more Nash and Hall is always good.

    - The back-to-back-to-back booking of a Dudley's interview, Bra and Panties match, and Rikishi dancing segment would have made me change the channel if I was watching in real life, but I digress..

    - Nice to see RVD pick up the win over Hardy, Undertaker's attack after the match hopefully leads to a feud, because those two can have some kickass matches together - very random attack though.

    - Kane was kind of screwed from the get-go, obviously. He put up a valient effort nonetheless. nWo getting the best of both Kane and Hogan there really put them over nicely, as 99.9% of the time in that situation Hogan would come in and clean house.

    - The irony of Kevin Nash calling someone past their prime.. g'yeah, that got a chuckle out of me. The ending was really good, Austin beating up X-Pac but Hall and Nash not bothering to go in and save the little scrub was really nice and something I can totally see happening in real life. The Austin/Kane/Hogan alliance against the nWo should be surreal, to say the least.

    SMACKDOWN:

    - Opening segment was pretty swank. I'm totally down for a Rock-Jericho-HHH threeway. Plus, the verbal exchanges between Rock and Y2J were always classic, and if tonight is any indication you seem to have that down pretty well.

    - I hate women's wrestling.

    - Test, Christian and Storm totally rule - interested in seeing how you book Jeff Hardy as a singles, please don't do the predictable thing and have Lita turn on him after like two shows though.

    - I can dig a Mark Henry push, the guy was watchable in his last Smackdown run and if booked properly can be a very believable main event monster heel.

    - Once again, the canadians rule - I'm glad Test was the one that jobbed and not Christian or Storm.

    - Booker and Angle's segment was great - those two could make a great comedy duo ala Goldust and Booker - obviously both guys deserve to be in more high profile storylines than that, but it could be a really fun thing for a month or so.

    - Tag match was a lot of fun, I really enjoy the Edge/Big Show team and that could make a fun little "Brains and Brawn" type of team. Edge uses his smarts to get waht he wants and Show does all the dirty work.

    - Main event was just AW-E-SOME. I really like where you're going with Jericho, he's a great comedy character but giving him a little bit more of a serious, maniacal edge could be a really good thing. That three way match is gonna be fun as hell if you end up doing that, which is where it seems to be heading now.

  12. - I've just started reading this diary but based on the last two shows, I think having three big swerves in two shows is a bit much. You had two at the PPV (Malenko joining with Jericho, Giant turns on Sting) and then the big one to end the show last night (Horseman turn on Flair).

    - I think you write Chris Jericho just about as well as I've seen anyone on EWB do it.

    - I like the way the nWo dissention is being teased. You get the feeling something big is going to happen soon.

    - I hope Bulldog doesn't join The Rising Sons. I'd much rather hope that group remains just Japan guys invading WCW. Although I would like to see Bulldog given a bigger push, I think he deserves better than to just be teaming with Neidhart.

    - Buff Bagwell winning the TV title was good. I like him in that spot and I hope it means bigger things for Booker in the future. Can't wait for the Steiner vs. Steiner match.

    - Main event was definitely interesting and it will also be interesting to see how you play it out in the next few weeks. Will Savage and Hart led their feud get in the way of the title? Will Hogan stay in the background and try to play them against each other? Will they come to their senses and both go after Hogan? I'll be looking forward to see what happens.

  13. Two.. first one would be metal, second would be a little more bluesy with a slight hint of grunge.

    Oh yeah, one more.

The Rest: IT DOESN'T FUCKIN' MATTER.
