  1. I've only ever heard one EODM song, and have never really heard any hype about them, so I'm surprised to see them labelled as "hipster", but maybe so, I'm so far removed from the metal scene anywhere that I haven't got a clue what is and isn't popular. The one song I've heard by them was alright, though.

To say the music business needs more people like Axl Rose is laughable. It needs more people that are going to get swallowed up by their own ego and follow-up a raw and energetic hard rock album with an overblown over-produced double album, self-indulgent almost to the point of auto-fellatio, consider themselves above the rest of their band, not turn up to gigs that THEIR FANS paid good money for, walk off stage whenever something slightly annoys them, bullshit about just about everything, and spend a decade working on one fucking album that probably won't come out until after they're dead, and then it'll be incredibly underwhelming (how could it not be?)

One of the biggest problems with the music industry has always been that there are TOO MANY people like Axl Rose. The last thing we need is more.

  2. Axl might be an ass, but so what, he saw that they sucked and was basically saying sorry to his audience.

EDOM are lame hipster shit that probably (and hopefully) won't even be around five years from now.

The music business needs more Axl Rose's. Axl is like the Randy Savage of music, and incidentally the wrestling business desperately needs more guys like Randy Savage.

  3. No way the Cowboys will make it past the Panthers or Seahawks. The Patriots will finally be overcome by the Colts. The Panthers have many guys coming back from injury like big DT Kris Jenkins who has been injured for the past 2 years. Last time he wasn't injured, Superbowl appearance (sp?) for Carolina. Even though I'm a Steeler fan;

The Ravens will make the playoffs but won't make it much deeper with teams like the Broncos, Colts, Pats, and defending champion Steelers, no way they mke the superbowl, or even the AFC Championship.

    Superbowl 41

    Colts over Panthers 21-17

  4. POV winner and other stuff..

Erika won POV. Don't know if she'll put anyone up yet.

Jase is in chilltown now, or at least he thinks he is, but Will and Boogie will likely screw him over the first chance they get.

Chilltown was talking with Erika and George about teaming up to take out Season 6

Janelle thinks Jase is still with the Season 6 alliance, even Howie of all people can see that he's just playing them.

  6. Oh man, this show is so bad. Everyone on there looks like a typical cookie cutter rock star wannabe. Its like the producers all went to their nearest "Hot Topic" store to round these people up. I cannot imagine any of them fronting this band.

Memo to the contestants - when you're trying out for a band that features members of METALLICA, GUNS N' ROSES & MOTLEY CRUE, it would be best not to sing a fucking Coldplay song.

  7. People that should definitely be on the show

    Will

    James

    Danielle

    Janelle

    Allison

People who are good players that should be on the show, and even if they aren't all that great, they're still fun to have on

    Jase

    Howie

    Mike Boogie

    Allison

    Ivette

    Cowboy

    Monica

People who under no circumstances should be on the show because they are terrible players or are just annoying

    Kaysar

    Marcellus

    Bunky

  8. PARIS SCORES (AGAIN)

June 21, 2006 -- Paris Hilton - heiress, actress and now songstress - is turning out to be a dominatrix of all media on the strength of her single "Stars Are Blind," which was officially released yesterday. Industry speculation is high that the song will debut on Billboard Hot 100 list in the Top 10 tomorrow.

"Stars" is in rotation at more than 50 stations across America and is the No.1 requested song in New York on Z-100.

Romeo, Z-100 music director and on-air personality who did a live interview with Hilton last week, calls her "a smart, sweetheart of a girl," adding, "Her timing is perfect, she has the sound of the summer: pure pop with a reggae beat.

"We knew it was going to polarize our audience," Romeo says. "We were right, last week half of the calls said they hated the song, but it was still among the top five requested songs. This week it's our No.1 requested song."

The four-minute track is also a hit on the Internet. On MTV.com's "Hot 5 on Overdrive," the video earned the program its all-time best performance on a single day.

"Stars Are Blind" is the first single from Hilton's self-titled debut album, set for release Aug. 1. The record, which also will feature a cover of Rod Stewart's "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy," is under the direction of veteran hip-hop hitmaker Scott Storch.

  9. I'm glad I'm able to get in before you post the card. This is definitely one of the best TNA diary's I've read on here so far.

    PREDICTIONS:

King of the Mountain Match - NWA World Heavyweight Championship:

Monty Brown vs. Christian Cage vs. AJ Styles vs. Raven vs. Rhino vs. Abyss ©

It'd be a shame to see Abyss lose the title so soon, and would automatically give him a Kane-esque career plummet, so I really hope he wins.

    X-Division Championship:

    Homicide vs. Jerry Lynn ©

I'd like Homicide to win, but I expect it will be Lynn

    Legend vs. Coward

    Sting vs. Scott Steiner

For as much as I like your diary, I hate the way you've booked Steiner in this feud. He's the best heel in the company and the only guy that the Impact Zone crowd is legimiately scared of. He shouldn't be booked like a coward, so I really hope he wins this match.

    Streak vs. Ego

    Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Jarrett

If Jarrett ends the streak, even by 20 guitar shots and 13 run-ins, I'm going to automatically hate this diary.

    6 Man Tag Match:

The Naturals and Ron Killings vs. America's Most Wanted and Alex Shelley

    Alex Shelley > everyone.

    NWA Tag Team Championships:

Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) © vs. Latin American Exchange (Konnan and Hernandez)

I totally despise Team 3D, and totally don't care about LAX, so this is a tough one. I can't see LAX beating them though.

    Ladder Match - X-Division No.1 Contenders:

    Senshi vs. Jeff Hardy

    He's gotta win.

  10. Pretty decent first show. I loved the Flair-Foley promo, the Highlanders vignette was good. I hope you do end the ECW Invasion stuff after Vengeance (and hopefully the real WWE does too).

I would have liked to see a DX promo or skit mocking the Spirit Squad though since it is the first show after their reformation and the last show before their PPV match.

  11. I liked everything about the PPV except Nash and the Khali-Taker match. Mainly because Bearer turning on the Undertaker is really kind of played out by now, and I hope this isn't phasing out Davari.

As far as Nash, he's way over the hill and I can't picture a feud between him and Batista being anything short of dreadful.
