  1. As a Browns fan I'm totally on board with this trade. Honestly, Trent really hasn't been that great and anyone who says otherwise hasn't watched that many games. He's had a low ypc, he dances too much in the backfield, he's slow hitting the hole and he doesn't have breakaway speed. It's great that he can plow over defenders and I loved watching him get 4-5 extra yards on some runs with guys piled on top of him, but to call him our "best offensive player in years" is a stretch and I'd say he hasn't done more to impress me than Jamal Lewis did his first year with us or even Kellen Winslow (pre him not being able to stay on the field for more than a game) He's constantly injury prone, and a mid round first is exactly what I'd put his value at right now.

Call it homerism, call it optimism, but I think it was a pretty solid deal for the Browns especially since the new front office clearly didn't like him that much anyways. We now have 5 picks in the first few rounds of the draft, two being first rounders, and I'm excited to see what we do from here.

  2. So I got the game for 360, and it's seriously freezing on me every 10-15 minutes (if not less). It's not after any cutscene or after a finished mission like I've seen some people describe, it'll just be while I'm out driving or walking around.

Anyone know of anything I can do to fix this? I really want to play but as you can imagine it's frustrating the hell out of me.

  3. Ended up beating Tyler in a helluva playoff game. A lot of big plays on both sides of the ball but my defense managed to get a key pick 6 to end the third quarter and that really sealed the game from that point on.

You connected with Greg Little more than I would have wanted but I finally got around to covering him in the fourth quarter. <_< Real good game though.

I had a solid plan of "run the same passing play until you learned to cover Greg Little" that was working out well for me for a while >_>

And yet thou protest about the use of Jacob Tamme?! GTFO!

    I learned from the best!

  5. And when you want a game to end and it to be over, you stop trying to run up stats as quickly as you physically possibly can and run plays that will lead to it being over. Not try to prolong the game as long as possible and no-huddle crazily to get as many yards and points that you can.

This is the dumbest thing I've read. If someone wanted the game to end and be over, they wouldn't prolong the game and try to score. But if they ARE trying to score, and get as many yards or points as possible, then clearly they don't want the game to be over yet.

It's called pride, even if I'm down by 100 I'd run as many plays as I could to try and get more points. I would rather lose by 30 than by 37, and it's not "stat-padding" or anything crazy like that, it's called not quitting.

  6. Good game to you too LL. That lag was pretty awful, it seemed to get a LITTLE better towards the end of the game but still not much.

I got a nice start early when Peyton threw what seemed like 10 INTs (but was probably only 3 or 4), including a pick 6. But then LL realized he only needed to throw it to Tamme and it worked out pretty well for him. It seemed like every single ball in the 3rd quarter was going to Tamme and my defense could do nothing to stop it.

Also, the fact that my QB is like 64 overall is starting to catch up to me :shifty: So,

    FA REQUEST: QB Troy Smith
