Golden Tate and Jalen Ramsey got into a brawl after the game yesterday.

Ramsey dated Tate's sister before dumping her while she was pregnant.

On one play Ramsey shed a block and lit Tate up with an amazing tackle on 3rd down, forcing a punt too. One of the best corner plays I've seen. That had to hurt Tate!

  2. It was clearly a freak result without their first choice keeper who's arguably the best in the world. It'll be a wake up call but there's no way this will be allowed to happen again. Liverpool are still the best team in the league and if I were a fan, I wouldn't be worried either. These things happen sometimes.

Caoimhin Kelleher should get a shot now, can't be worse than Adrian!

  3. Saying Oriel Park isn't up to the standard of the Europa League is a massive compliment. It's probably the worst stadium I've ever seen and is definitely the worst in the league. Along with that, it has a shitty artificial pitch and they refuse to switch to grass even though they're flush with cash now.

It would have been hilarious to see Arsenal play there. All 3 of their games are in the Aviva though, so it would have been a cracking away trip for Arsenal fans alright, area around there is brilliant!

That's great, baseball has no problem with it either.  NFL teams playing NFL football seem to have issues with it, so clearly its not the easiest thing in the world.  In theory every team with an outdoor stadium should have grass, but northern teams have difficulty in doing so.  Hell, Buffalo has never even bothered to try.

And like Damshow said, how do you address that with indoor stadiums?

I'm not saying it's easy and won't be expensive but it's possible. Grass pitches nowadays have synthetic grass woven into them and are much easier to maintain with modern technology. They can be shipped in and relaid whenever too. You said it yourself, teams haven't even bothered trying.

The Rams just built a 5 billion dollar stadium with all the sunshine in the world and still use synthetic turf. The average franchise is worth 3 billion. It can be done. With domed stadiums, I'd imagine they'd get a grandfather clause to allow turf.

Yes it is.  The Bears can't do it.  Patriots had issues to the point that they replaced their grass with turf.

Rugby and association football teams all over the world manage to do it in all different types of climate with a whole lot more games played on it NFL.

  6. It's a bit ridiculous that all teams don't have grass anyway. It's not that hard to keep a grass surface in top shape for 8-16 games a year. There's so much money involved yet they're cheaping out and risking the player's health.

Not a new kit but a recommendation from me (not a shill, I have no connection bar the fact weirdly this is the company that prisoners could buy their trainers from waaaay back when I worked in prison finance), I've just bought that lovely Barca 3rd kit from last season for £25 at M and M direct. They're a weird company that just get odd batches of stuff in then sell it fairly cheap, so not great if you're after something specific but if you're after a random kit for 5 a side (I'm weighing up a lovely Umbro El Salvador top or FC Dallas) they're brilliant. One of the buyers has a twitter account where he'll give advance warning of cool stuff coming in.

That's a great shout, just ordered the same one! Running pretty low on mediums in everything now though by the looks of things.

    What's the twitter?

  8. Klopp has always been a snarky little shit and a terrible loser with some of the worst excuses out there. He just gets away with it because he's more outwardly likeable than a manager like Jose and he hasn't been losing much lately so it's all smiles.

Funny that he got into it with Keane too because he would have loved to have him as a player.

I can't remember what draft picks are like. We always trade the fucking things away.

I don't think any of our picks even played this weekend.

Theoretically not the worst strategy! Since 2013 the Seahawks have only picked four times in the 1st round and have already traded their next two first rounders. You just need a good GM and coach. BOB is neither unfortunately!

Not at all. Yellow, but it wasn't an intended strike to the face. If I remember it right, arm wasn't pushing up high, more defender lowered his face. No way should people be sent off for that

Tierney didn't lower his face, Mane moved his hand into his face. He literally made contact with Tierney's face with his arm, then his extended his fist (which was closed by the way) into it.

If we continue to spiral out for a top pick (and Gettleman doesn't get forced to "retire"), I think he's going to stick with his guy as stubborn as he is with his draft choices. With that said, it's only Week 3 with a new coach/offense and without our best offensive player - I'm cautiously optimistic... maybe until we hit 0-5. >_>

I would bet everything I have that if the Giants get the #1 pick, Gettleman won't be making the selection and that the pick will be a Quarterback. He's done and Jones continues this way then he's done too.
