We can say the same about any of the numerous incorrect VAR decisions which fucked up any team. Shit happens.
Shit season, but who the fuck cares? We’re staying where we belong.
Nah you can't really, it's completely different. Goal line tech isn't subjective, VAR is. It was a goal and a technology fuck up made the difference.
It doesn't matter to Villa's Premier League status but there's no point denying or excusing it

That goal line tech fuck up against Sheffield United has kept Villa up by 1 point. Madness.
Poor Bournemouth!

Roma away this year is going to be a popular one. They went back to their classic little wolf badge!

Henderson is a very good player and deserves the plaudits he's getting. I think FWA takes a lot into account and his organising of the captains to support the NHS probably helped his cause a lot here too, so fair play to him. If anybody says he doesn't deserve to be in the England squad, then they're automatically talking shite.
If anyone other than De Bruyne wins PFA player of the year then it'll be a travesty for him though. He's on another level to anybody else at the moment.

Adidas at it again. Ipswich and Zagreb!

It's white, it just has an unnecessary pattern in pale grey on it. Patterns on jerseys are so hot right now.
They have a nice yellow 3rd one though according to the leaks. Also have a 4th because 3 new shirts every year wasn't enough money for kit makers and clubs.

Just about to post this. Those socks are quality, definitely gonna pick those up for training and 5 aside!
-
Blandness aside, even the collar looks poorly done and cheap. There's 0 design effort gone into that.
Hopefully it's the last year for both Puma and Fun88 if Ashley finally pisses off.

WBA score now. This is great fun!
Really don't want them to go up though. Be nice to see Brentford up and get a new team up.
-
Why would they want to replace him? He's only 30 and a very good keeper now. He's come along way since Arsenal!

Oblak is probably the best GK in the world atm. He'd cost you far, far more than Kepa did.
His release clause is €120m. All things considered isn't that obscene and probably worth it.
Issue with him is wanting to leave Atletico.

A draw here wouldn't even be a bad result. You imagine they'll have to win against West Ham anyway but a win would make them favourites!
-
Man City just eliminated Watford's superior goal difference over Villa and Bournemouth completely too. They're all on -27 now, Bournemouth and Villa 3 points behind.
Villa have a game in hand to come tonight too.
A tight loss would have even been an OK result tonight but not a hammering.

Must've learned it at home as he'd never been to Scotland before getting called up to play for them.
It happens! I know people who sayings and glimpses of an accent from areas they've never lived in that they inherited from being around their parents.
I'd imagine that's how Ritchie started calling people "wee dicks"!

I love how Ritchie has an English accent when speaking and the Scottish one comes out when he's angry!
-
He won't even be first choice at City. He's going to be Laporte's back-up.
It's a strange move for this stage of his career, he should really be playing every week.
-
That metric is only useful for teams that instruct their CBs to bring the ball out. A very small amount of top teams will actually play that way and will often be given the room to do so.
As already said traipsing forward with the ball for 10 yards and playing a simple pass is going to look very good in the metrics..

Ah yes, two gifs completely discredit Maguire as a defender. No good defender has ever been beaten by an attacker or dribbled past at all.
Not descrediting him as a defender, he is a good defender. I'm saying he's not close to as good as he should be for the fee and it's not based off one bad performance. Your £80mil defender shouldn't be getting done by Junior Stanislas in a tight 1v1 situation.

Here's two since the restart
Most expensive defender ever. Yeah it's great that he passes the ball forward coming out of the back though.
-
I don't think he has enough pace to start for any club and he's only going to get less mobile as he ages.
-
Honourable of EA. I'm sure they'll make the new name and logo available for a very reasonable amount of in-game currency or you can take your chances in one of the loot boxes.
-
Yeah I've always believed it but Maguire just isn't very good. When you pay a world record fee, you expect a world class centre back to slot in and run things at the highest level. He looks shaky when bringing the ball out, which is his supposed strength and he's got no pace. His positioning isn't great, he gets done 1v1 too often and he thinks he's a much better passer than he is.
Like he's solid and certainly not terrible. But he's a living example of this nonsense English tax that seems to exist on fees.

Turns out selling two of your best players in January wasn't the best of moves for Hull.

Another for the "would be perfect without the shitty sponsor" file. I really like it, but the sponsor is too high, too big, and just kills it.
The contrasting red and blue on each sleeve really works. Look how nice it was when it first leaked without the sponsor!
Also how many teams do Emirates sponsor now? Seems like they have one in every league. Adding the Fly Better and making the sponsor bigger is annoying too.

Just saw Pickford and his teeny little arms were at it again. It'll be hilarious if Henderson or Pope aren't picked ahead of him for England.
