Some bad news. PWinsider: SMASH, The Japanese promotion run by former WWE and ECW star Yoshihiro Tajiri, announced that they would be shutting down operations this March. Tajiri noted that the company was closing due to "creative" issues within management and all shows through March would take place as scheduled. The word making the rounds in the last week has been that WWE has reached out to a number of Cruiserweight style wrestlers that had worked for the company in the past for their planned Cruiser series that would debut as part of the WWE Network. While nothing is confirmed, Tajiri would fit that bill.

Lots of updates here for JCW! The following names have been advertised for JCW's "Wake the Dead" iPPV from the ECW Arena this month! Have most of them as their basic heel/face alignment. I expect most of the former ECW guys to be Faces if that helps. I'm surprised Pearce wasn't already on the roster. Since there isn't a U.S Marshall gimmick, make him a Police Officer and put him in a tag team with Colt Cabana. Raven and Sexy Slim Goody are the JCW Tag Team Champions now. Sexy Slim Goody is currently not in the game, so make the Titles Vacant. I'll try to put up stats soon.
