The FF6 soundtrack is impeccable, they even released a CD full of orchestrated versions of songs from the game called "Grande Finale".
Opening track has the intro to "Dancing Mad" which then goes straight into "Tinas Theme". Ohhhh yeaaaahhhhh.

God, I hate all the splitting of hairs within genres. But aaaanyways, here's some bands that you may like.
Belvedere: Haven't heard a lot from them, but Closed Doors is a cool song.
From First to Last: Kiss me, I'm Contagious, Ride the Wings of Pestilance are both good songs.
Hawthorne Heights: Ohio is for Lovers, Dissolve and Decay
Hidden in Plain View: Halycon Daze, Ashes, Ashes
Moneen: Are We Really Happy?, Start Angry... End Mad.

I want a new Earthbound game! I think it would work well as a Paper Mario-style game... the Paper Mario game for Game Cube really reminds me of Earthbound, so I think it could do well.

I've always been a sucker for the FF VI soundtrack. Kefka's theme > *

I recently bought DoR, since my bro just picked up a gamecube. I'm having fun with the game, creating guys and such, but I was wondering... are there any fun glitches or tricks that can be done?
Like in SD vs Raw, you can stack tables. In one of the older games, you could climb up the set. What do you DoR owners do for fun in your game?

I think it needs more grid >_>

I never said X-Men wasn't linear, but it doesn't hurt it like it does Spidey. Spider-Man's free roaming is a great time, for about 15 minutes. The webslinging is absolutely awesome, and it was enough to fool me into buying the game. However, there is nothing else there, the side missions (like pizza delivery) may be like GTA, but that's about the end of the similarities. SM2 takes maybe 10% of GTA's sidequests, put them in a giant world map and then calls it a day.

Dude, X-Men Legends is the best Multiplayer game of its type in YEARS.
Someone asked if Day of Reckoning was any good? It is certainly the best of the 3 new games; SDvR, WM21, and DOR. It has THE BEST CAW mode ever in any video game, no kidding. Don't believe me? Check this out: http://tunski.com/cawabunga.html
Frigging amazing. The gameplay is like No Mercy, but not quite as smooth, but it has some excellent features, namely the momentum shift. If you don't like using CAWs in your career type modes, well, you won't like this, cause you gotta. Believe me though, this is the best wrestling experience available to the next-gen consoles without importing. If you can import, well KOCII for PS2 gets my vote for greatest wrestling ever to this point at least...

Wait a minute, you call X-Men Legends "too repetitive," then point to Spider-Man 2 as a good example of a superhero game? You've got to be kidding me! While X-Men Legends is pretty much a kill everything that moves kind of game, there's tons of variety and customization. You can make different teams, build up there stats however you'd like, etc etc. Spider-Man 2, you can follow the linear, very short, storyline, or go save a construction worker from falling off a building for the 800th time. Spider-Man 2 certainly captures the essence of Spider-Man, webslinging and all that, but I fail to see how X-Men Legends doesn't capture the X-Men. The Danger Room is there, all the characters are acted accurately, and there's a shitload of fighting, sounds like the X-Men to me.

Is WWE Day of Reckoning any good? My bro just got a gamecube, and I'm thinking of picking up that game.

DAMMIT! I haven't been to the Olive Garden in like FOREVER!!
So, Indians weren't happy with the portrayal of Ghandi? Wasn't that kind of the point? He was *supposed* to be nothing like the actual Ghandi.
"If there's one thing that Ghandi is about... it's revenge"

God yes. Alice in Chains is one of my favorite bands of all time. So many great songs! Plus their style varied from album to album, which was sweet.

Wow, Anakin/Darth is a fucking pussy. Unless he's wiping out kids he gets his ass handed to him. Obi-Wan fucks him up, making him look like a reject from Monty Python's search for the Holy Grail.
I had finally gotten around to seeing Episode I as well, and I must say I prefer the new trilogy much more to the old one. Aside from some of the crappy dialogue, and the crap acting of Christensen (and sometimes others) it blows the originals out of the water. Aside from Harrison Ford the trilogy goes from meh to horrible at times, with the shitty writing and acting.
And finally, George Lucas is horribly overrated.

Yeah, I've read that it's really good, and better than NFSU2. I'll have to rent it sometime soon.

Haha yeah, the kid killing thing seemed a little odd to me. It was a bit of an over the top way to establish Anakin as a bad guy...
"Okay, you clone troopers take care of the Jedi Knights around the temple. I, the only force sensitive one on our side, will take care of the children."

Last I heard about this, they got a grant from the Canadian government or something? That was like a year ago though.

I really like the SomethingAwful Flash Tub. It's full of my kind of humour.
The Kansas City World Skippers rule all!

So I pulled out The Eminem Show today and started listening to it for the first time in a long ass time and I have a few questions about it.
1. On one of the songs, Em says something about Mariah being his wife or something to this extent, what's the deal with this and is he talking about Mariah Carey?
2. Why are Cannibus and Em beefing?
3. Why are Dre and Jermaine Dupre beefing?

The commercial alone killed it for me. The sick man dying, saying "what have I done?"... the guy saying "You know what we got... Plague City..." ... it was ll just so corny.

Well, Collective Soul's new song (Better Now) has a sax solo I think.

I loved Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but it's a little out there. Nothing too too crazy, just not your usual storyline.
